I wouldn't tolerate it and I would probably walk away. Some people can deal with the ex being very involved b/c of the kids. Not sure I could, although each situation is different.
So you would just walk away without even trying to get the situation changed?

Of course the ex will be involved in the childrens' lives, I don't think that the LW's problem. It's that there seem to be no boundaries defining this divorced relationship.

And I don't think it's out of line for her to ask, nay demand, that her time with her boyfriend be uninterruped by an ex just walking in on them whenever she feels like it. Would you tolerate that?
I would not, and she's brought it up with his ex and told her to back off, yet she hasn't. So now what? The lw should leave? That's precisely what the ex wants.

That's what the LW gets for using "farmers only" dating website instead of match dot com.
Not sure if you guys get that commercial by you, but we do. It's an actual dating website for farmers. The commercials are corny as all eff.
Come on, you don't like the talking farm animals? I think it's adorable and nicely done. Makes me wish I was a single farmer

It's very easy for me to say since I'm not involved with the guy. I think there would be red flags all over about dating him in the first place if his ex is so involved. I think probably not enough time has gone by between the divorce and dating this chick. It just might be the LW is his first and usually it doesn't last. It takes awhile to come to terms with things after a divorce and the first person you date usually doesn't last. There are exceptions to all the rules, of course.

When I say "so involved", I'm talking about walking in and out of his life. Of course she should be involved in the kids' lives. To not have boundaries on his life means to me they both are so involved with each other outside of the coparenting thing.
Of course, we don't know every detail, either.

I think they are hokey and that they look like they were produced on a $5 budget and with an iphone and the most unappealing actors ever.

They should make a parody one along these lines:

&fe ature=kp

Put some hot country gals in em.

(e) Other. One day the LW waits in the stables for the ex-wife, hiding. The LW spooks the horse at the "right" moment and the horse stomps and kills the ex-wife. Problem solved.:D
:-) Been watching a lot of crime drama/mysteries lately? "e" makes me think of some English programs my husband and I have been watching online lately.

1: Meh, this situation might work in sitcoms but not IRL. No one is saying the wife should not be expected to be part of the kids' lives, but she's acting like they are still married and she's living there.
Dad needs to set boundaries if he wants a new wife...
