Democrats on the House intelligence committee have released more than 3,500 Facebook ads that were created or promoted by a Russian internet agency, providing the fullest picture yet of Russia's attempt to sow racial and political division in the United States before and after the 2016 election. Most of the ads are issue-based, pushing arguments for and against immigration, LGBT issues and gun rights, among other issues.

Russia's attempt to sow racial and political division in the United States? Obama had that covered for 8 years.

"Most of the ads are issue-based, pushing arguments for and against immigration, LGBT issues and gun rights, among other issues. A large number of them attempt to stoke racial divisions by mentioning police brutality or disparaging the Black Lives Matter movement. Some promote President Donald Trump or Bernie Sanders, who ran against Hillary Clinton in the Democratic presidential primary. Few, if any, support Clinton."

"As the Russians attempted to pose as Americans, their language sometimes hinted at their origin. One ad railed against immigrants who "should prove that they are deserved to stay in the United States." Another read: "Your life matter. My life matter. Black matters."

Sounds like some of the pro-Trump posters here!

Yes, it is pretty clear that Trump never would have won without the help of the Kremlin.

But what was promised in return?

As usual, your comments are as useful as a limp penis.

You can ignore the truth, but you can't change it.

Is it illegal to discuss American politics with a Russian businessman?

Is it illegal to accept campaign contributions from a Russian citizen?

Can Russia lobby the United States?

How many elections has the CIA interfered in since 1945?

Inquiring minds wanna know.

Yes, if the "businessman" is working for the Russian intelligence services.

Yes.

Yes, it does so routinely, and it has something called an embassy.

How many brutal and destructive communist dictatorships has Moscow forced on other nations since 1945?

Now you know.

As long as we're on the subject of the influence of foreign entities, how about the millions of votes cast by illegal aliens in favor of Hillary, or the millions and millions of Russian ruble/dollars that ended up in the bank account of the Clinton Foundation after Uranium One?

Anyone anywhere and for any reason can purchase Facebook ad-space, unless they are homosexual perverts targeting our children... oh... my mistake. Facebook does indeed allow homosexual perverts to target our children and have given perverts across the U.S. access to underage user information to do so. Democrat spokespeople and Leftist street rabble fully support that activity as exercising free speech. Yet, they try to curtail the free speech of some Russians, who are probably U.S. expatriate Communists with ill intent. Democrat subversives and Communist operatives are just basically stupid and self-destructive. Nonetheless, we can not allow them to curtail human freedoms once again in their historical tyrannical Marxist agendas.

That is funny but obviously all fake news and hate propaganda from the Trump/Putin coalition government. Check out reality:

"These tactics of impersonation succeeded to a sometimes stunning degree. One Russia-controlled Twitter account,@TEN_GOP, claimed to represent the Tennessee Republican party, and garnered 100,000 followers. Facebook disclosed last year that Russia-generated content reached as many as 126 million Americans on its platform. One apparent key to the effort’s success was sheer relentlessness – the indictment says the IRA’s social media specialists were divided into day shifts and night shifts, and made posts that aligned with U.S. time zones. Again echoing prior reports, the indictment specifies that these efforts primarily supported the Trump campaign.... "
