In January this year i noticed i had a bump(rise of the skin) on one side of my upper lip and another on the opposite side of my lower lip... I saw my GP and he thought it was chronic herpes, and he prescribed me 800 mg Aciclovir tablets to take, but their was no change after 2 months, i went back to my GP and told him their was no change, he said it can't be herpes then, as it would of been painful and those lumps would of dissapeared.
So he didn't know what it was, and he referred me to a dermatoligist, and she noticed i had a skin lesion just above my top lip in the middle and the bump just above mt upper lip on the side and the bump just below my lower lip.
And she too thought it was herpes and she prescribed me Aciclovir 250mg to take two times a day, i took them for a over a month, but still no chnage. Also these were for reocurring herpes but whatever i have had never gone. So with no luck with that, another appoitment with the dermatoligist was made a a few months later, it was a different person, and they told me again, it looks like herpes with the white lumpy lesion on the edge of my top lip, but as their was no pain and it hadnt disspeared over the time, she said it could be dermititous or chronic achne and she prescribed me some Vibramcin 50mg capsules one one to be taken twice a day and also some Finacea 15% gel which i was told to put on the bumps&lesion and rub it in, doing so twice a day. And i've been doing that right up to today, but their has been no change, also i i see that the lesion on the edge of my top lip has spread more this past week........

So what could this be? And why has their been no change after the courses of treatment i've taken? And will it ever go? As i've had this all year so far.

Please answer the questions if you can.
Thankyou.

I search throughout Internet for any possible Acne solution. Lots of products over web but I stumbled upon www.zenmed.com . After reading other customers review I

decided to go for ZENMED Derma Cleanse System.

And as I think before using this product results were SPECTACULAR! What set this treatment apart from the rest were the internal cleansing capsules and the all-natural

ingredients. Zenmed helped me so much. Finally, I can look into the mirror again. Finally, I love being in photographs again. I love going out. I love dating. I love my new

found confidence. Goodbye to those painful years of having acne.

Thanks Zenmed for such a great product.

Okay, that just sounds very lame and very much like a paid commercial advertisement when this person is trying to ask for help.

If doctors who think it's Herpes, treat it like Herpes, but it doesn't go away or act like Herpes,... then guess what?! It's probably not Herpes!

I'm surprised the dermatologist made you take a medication when the doctor who referred you had already put you on a regiment for Herpes meds. Don't they talk to each other? Didn't you tell them? If it doesn't hurt, I'd lay my money on it being some sort of dermatitis. Just in case that's the problem, and I'd be really careful about unnecessary chemicals in your diet, your shower, your hygiene products, etc. Lay off the really hot water when you bathe, and ask your dermatologist about more ways you can reduce the chemicals you bombard your body with on a daily basis.(Think soaps, shampoos, deodorants, colognes, food preservatives, colas, etc.)

Hope it clears up for you, and don't give up on finding out what it is. Stay on top of it so you can get cured.

thanx webmann.
Yer it must be dermatitis then.
So could it be something i'm using or eating that has caused this?
Well ive not really used anything new for the past few years. I use the same shampoo & conditioner and the same moisteriouser.
Also, if it was something i used once that effected me like this, in this way? wouldnt it of gone by now, as i've ceased using it.
I remember using Bio-oil on my face once.
But didnt use it on my face again.

Anyone else, offer my any help or advice?
