ITA.<quoted text>Right. And who's definition of NEED are we going with. I work all my life and have a nice nest egg for retirement, but am still more than capable of working. Unless I long for the free time, why should I stop working? So some younger person potentially can get my job? So when my wife falls ill and our life savings get eaten up by medical bills I have to go find a job as a greeter at Walmart cause at my age its much harder to find a new job making what I was making before I retired? Wonder if this chick would be willing to take a demotion and pay cut to let me ease back into the high paying position I had now that my "needs" have changed.
My mom didn't need to keep working into her early 60s, but she did it just for the medical insurance, until she was old enough to qualify for Medicaid/care.
