14- Accepted without comment that five of his cabinet members cheated on their taxes and two other nominees withdrew after they couldn't take the heat.
15- Appointed a homeland security chief who identified military veterans and abortion opponants as 'dangers to the nation'
16- Ordered that the word 'terrorism' no longer be used and instead refers to such acts as 'man made disaters'
17- circled the globe to publicly apologize for Americas world leadership.
18- Told the Mexican president that violence in their country was because of us.
19- politicized the census by moving it into the White House from the department of Commerce.
20- appointed as Attorney General the man who orchestrated the forced removal and expultion to Cuba of a 9-year-old whose mother died trying to bring him to freedom in the U.S.A.
21- Salutes as Heros three Navy Seals who took down three terrorists who threatened on American life and the very next day announces members of the Bush adminitration may stand trial for 'torturing' three 9/11 terrorists by pouring water up their noses.
22- Low aaltitude photo shoot of Air Force One over New York City that frightened thousands of New Yorkers.
23- Sent his National defense adviser to Europe to assure them that the US will no longer treat Israel in a special manner and they might be on their own with the muslims.
24- Praised Jimmy Carters trip to gaza where he sided with terrorist hamas against Israel.
25- Nationalized General Motors and Chrysler while turning shareholder control over to the unions and freezing out retired investors who owned their bonds. Commited unlimited taxpayer billions in the process.
26- At a press conference, he called the Police, responding to a 911 call,'Stupid' after he admitted he didn't know all the facts. He didn't apologize, but to smooth things over, he invited the cop and the citizen to have a beer at the White House.
27- Passed a hugh energy tax in the house that will make American industry even less competitive while costing homeowners thousand per year.
28- Announced national healthcare 'reform' that Will Strip Seniors of their Medicare, Cut pay for Physicions, INCREASE TAXES yet another TRILLION dollars, and put everyone on rationed care with government bureaucrats deciding who gets care and who doesn't.
Bloomberg: Daschle says, "Health care reform will not be pain free. Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating then", while former Colorado Govenor Dick Lamm says seniors have "a duty to die."

If this doesn't raise your ire, just remember that the President, Senaters and Congressman have their own special gold plated health care plan which is guaranteed the remainder of their lives and they are not subject to this new law if they pass it.

I have to get this off my chest. Not all Muslims are radical followers of Islam. I try to remember to refer to the "Radical Muslims" when posting about the extremist groups.(Sometimes I forget but that is my intent).

We have at least four Muslim famililes in our neighborhood. One couple is elderly and dresses in their native dress. They are always quiet and polite.

The family nearest to us actually lives in Dubai. Their home, which is stately and beautiful, is attended by a gardener but remains vacant a year or two at a time. They are fabulous parents and considerate friends who bring us gifts whenever they return. They are not killers and do not speak well of the extremist groups or their "fight" with America. They are just as afraid of the extremist groups as we are and believe we should be concerned.

Their theory is that the younger generation has grown increasingly unhappy over the past 20-30 years or so and have been quick to embrace the radical interpretations of Islam and blame "the Western world" for their problems. Not unlike our own young people, they are quick to believe anything they hear and follow blindly the extremist viewpoint.(sound familiar?)

"Allah commands that Muslims lead peaceful lives and not transgress against anyone. If they are persecuted and oppressed, the Qur'an recommends that they migrate to a more peaceful and tolerant land: "Lo! Those who believe, and those who emigrate (to escape persecution) and strive (Jahadu) in the way of Allah, these have hope of Allah's mercy..." (Quran, 2:218). If relocation is not possible, then Allah also requires Muslims to defend themselves against oppression by "fighting against those who fight against us." 2 The Qur'an states: "To those against whom war is made, permission is given [to defend themselves], because they are wronged - and verily, Allah is Most Powerful to give them victory."

It is a fact that we need to be vigilant and concerned about the many radical Muslim groups in the United States but we shouldn't lose track of the fact that many Muslims, especially older Muslims, are not threats. It is a fine line but it is there.

That being said, I do not agree with the United States using treasury dollars to support any religion and am appalled that we have seen fit to fund "Muslim" anything. This has got to stop.

Our country has become so paralized by political correctness that we have allowed a vile and determinded enemy to breach what should be the safest place in America, an Army post. This was not a 'man caused desaster'. It is what it is, an islamic jihadist attack.
Our recalcitrant leaders are refusing to confriont the issue, islamic terrorist infiltration into America, and possibly further into our armed services. Instead we have multiculturalism and diversity syndrome on steroids. Our leaders have taken a typical liberal approach to find a victim, not the 13 and 30 soldiers and civilian, but rather the poor shooter. A shooter we were told was a great American and that his religious beliefs had nothing to do with his actions. Our Congress should suspend the insidious action to vote on a preposterous and unconstitutional health care bill and resolve the issue of 'PROTECTING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE'.

I agree that the shooter was a terrorist, plain and simple. I agree that "political correctness" has been taken to the extreme and is preventing our government from taking appropriate actions or calling a spade a spade. I am disgusted and sickened by Obama's implied compassion for the shooter but I refuse to throw innocent Muslims to the wolves.

Am I suspicious of Muslims? Yes, of course. Terrorist are amongst them...everywhere. I have no doubts that they are in my city and yours. But, not every Muslim is a terrorist nor tolerant of their beliefs...that was the point I was trying to make.

I think you hit the nail on the head with the comment that they "will not be able to adjust to our way-of-life and will start striking-out". This is always the problem with people who immigrate..whether across the ocean or across the nation. They bring their life experiences with them.

As an example, blacks from the slave states immigrated to non-slave states and brought their hatred with them. That hatred festered and spread to the point where all of America became their enemy. What makes us think things will be different for the Palestinians? Can we truly expect them to assimilate into our culture and live peacefully with our Jewish communities? Relocation will merely spread their hatred to America and, before you know it, religious wars will follow.

Thank you for this beautiful post. The story I wanted to tell you was the soldier my son helped was hit by sniper's bullets and was in a coma and paralyzed from the waist down. He ran into much trouble medically. We helped as much as we could financially since his wife had to quit her job to care for him and their two young children. They said he would never walk again. After a year, he was released from the hospital and in a wheel chair. My son was available to him for 24 hours a day. We had them here for Easter holidays and he was so thankful to my son for all his
support, he asked him what he could do for him. My son told him "the best thing you could do for me is to walk in my front door". And that's just what he did. On Christmas Eve the doorbell rang and he was walking on his own. We had a house full of company and everyone was clapping and crying at the same time. After dinner he handed my son a small gift, wrapped beautifully. Inside was his purple heart...he wouldn't take no for an answer....he wanted my son to have it. There wasn't a dry eye in this house that night.

I wanted to share that with you because I know that you are such a caring person with a great love for our Country and for our troops. Your post to me was very touching. Thank you again for your kind words. I love our little group too. I can just tell the fine calibar of people they are, USA, Shadow, Dems. I miss New Yawk so much. And, I am so impressed that you remembered the Bible verse and the book my Dad gave me.

USA, I understand what you are saying. There are muslims that have left the teachings of Quran and truly dislike the horrors of the false teachings.
I feel for the women and children that have been so savagely mistreated.
I also have to stand against the ones who want to destroy America. They are trying to take over the world and only the one's that believe in Allah will be allowed to live.
I am trying to find the site where the three books that I mentioned and lost it somehow and trying to find it. But the books were from the site of the muslims that wanted peace and didn't like what the radicals were doing.
The problem was: they didn't like what the racials were doing but their books promoted the same violence.

Ps. I really do understand what you are saying and hopefully you know where I am coming from.
