In other news, I had my f/u appointment for my ultrasound. I had that liver lesion back in August and this was the f/u.
I have a cyst on my left kidney and still some liver lesion they cannot specify (comforting).
Getting a CT in August.....bleh....

We are still going to SB. We'll be down there on the 22nd and coming back on the 27th. We don't have a full week.
I don't think I'll be able to get down there since it's weekdays!:-(
RACE, thanks for the offer, though!

Holy cow - reading some of those comments are scary. People don't even understand that just because the measles were eradicated in the US, it still existed in other places and that people actually TRAVEL and spread it!!! Did you see how the anti-vaxxers kept saying, "How are people in the US getting it if it didn't exist in the US?" <facepalm>

The ignorance in this world...

Nothing here. I have so much to do tomorrow. My fluffy dog is dragging so much oak pollen into the house (whe walks in COVERED), it looks like an oak tree exploded in my living room. I am having her shaved tomorrow. I am not even going to bother trying to get the pollen out of her tail. They can just shave it off!!!

I was invited to a bar crawl Saturday. I may go have a drink with a girlfriend of mine and her hubby, but that's it. It's SOOOO beautiful out, I have to make time to sit out back and read!!!

No weekend plans other than putting the finishing touches on my dock.
Weather has been cool at night and I have been sleeping like a log for the past few nights.

question for all you folk without land lines....

I kept mine for my alarm company. They just came out and installed a satellite thingy, that does not require the phone line.

So my question is, has anybody just kept the inet service from their phone provider (att), and how much did it run you.

Or does anybody have an inet only service with someone without it being bundled with other things (tv, phone). If so, who and how much?

Just trying to see if I can save any coin. I dont have a tv provider and att is phone/inet, but I want to drop the phone.

ATT internet only. Introductory offer $31 a month. After one year,$51 a month (assuming you need streaming video capability, which I do, for youtube, porn and whatnot. Cheaper plans are available.) Called to get a new introductory temporary discount for another year, sat on hold for over twenty minutes, gave up and hung up. So, still $51 a month.

My phone provider is Tmobile. If yours is with ATT, they might offer you a better "bundle."

But, for internet only, that'll run you $51 after the first year. Anyone have better options for internet only? 51 seems a bit high to me. Could check myself, but, I suffer from laziness.

And I hate how companies offer things cheap at first, then jack up the prices after 12 months! When I sign up, I expect to pay that INDEFINITELY. Are there other alternatives?

We have Comcast, the Anti-Christ....lol....anyway we have landline with unlimited long distance, internet and cable with their Hi-Def pkg, and every movie channel, except TMC....$169 plus tax....i think it's a sh*tload...and i negotiated it down from over $200, but i don't know what others pay.....

Started with Comcast. Bundled the phone, internet and cable. After a few years battling with rates, eventually cancelled the phone. When they raised my rates to make up for it, I cancelled the cable. Got Direct TV. When some caller in Malaysia refused to help when my internet went out, I cancelled Comcast for good. Went with ATT

People I know who still have Comcast are complaining about rising rates.

Make your own decisions, but if I could make them for you, do NOT get Comcast

More important with Comcast, is the monopoly they are being allowed to build...Last year they bought NBC-Universal...Now they are getting ready to buy Time-Warner, which would leave them the only cable choice, in 46 of the 48 largest metropolitan markets....Frighteningly close, to allowing them to minipulate much of the message, along with it's delivery.....Unless other American's speak up about this building monopoly, all of our choices will be diminished.....

I'm getting stuff every 6 months.
They say it's fine now so we're monitoring progress and making sure it stays fine.
