I am not sure this is the same one I saw years ago, but it might be! My daughter would be in HEAVEN there!

I kinda like my bathrooms to be a little closer.

Did you read the recent article about the mom froma losing team complaining about bullying because her kids team lost 91-0? She even said all the kids were very sportsmanlike and all, just the fact that they one by such a big margin means they were bullied. SMH

Craziness. It means the team sucked. Big time. But, you and I know that...

When you really give it some thought....it seem's a scheduling problem. Highschool Athletic directors have to be more realistic about match-up strengths.... Some parents have pulled their kids from football....one school had more kids try out for Lacrosse, than football...can you imagine that?....

As an educator, I'm torn.
I know everyone is like [he did the assignment and was honest and put his emotions] but....the person he's speaking about is pretty clear. I know I would not like a kid reading a poem attacking another student. That's not cool....it's a grey area.
Had he just submitted it, as a teacher, I would grade it and let it go, but to go public with it (how did that happen) made it worse.
The coah, sure, but if he wrote a poem attacking a girl's looks, for example, without naming her but we know who it was, that would not be okay.

Agree. I saw the story on Yahoo (didn't read Race's link) and apparently he was clear on who he was writing about. There are laws against slander. Can't say I'm too sympathetic for the guy.

actually, it means the team that won is really, really good... apparently they have a history of winning big, but this was the biggest margin by far. i also read a quote from the coach saying he was trying to figure out what to do to stop scoring so much.

Cool! is this in any way connected to your academic work? Published is published, though, for most of the rest of us... ;-P
