You're right, hats. As Matthew 5:44 says, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which spitefully use you, and persecute you.

Here's something. I'm sure we discussed this after it happened, but I side with the zoo.
I agree...another case of an inability to take responsibility for the mother's action....We desperately need Tort Reform in this country....

If I chugged everytime I heard the word awesome i'd be dead of alcohol poisoning. At least 10 times in a recent show.

The nerve that Chel has to question someone with a placard that just does not "look" handicapped to her is utterly astounding.
And I was right.
It wasn't hers and she had no use for it at all.
I have seen more astounding things than a women politely (I was never rude) talking to a lady who is abusing the system.

Like I said, I don't care if you are right or wrong in your assumption, I don't take kindly to strangers with no authority questioning me as if I owe them any sort of answer. HAve a problem with something I might be doing? Call a cop. Call a security guard. Call someone who might actually have some authority. Otherwise, zip it and move along.

Regardless of the gentle words or soft tone you used, this IS rude. Asking a perfect stranger to explain their handicap to you? How do you not find that rude?

We don't actually need tort reform. It's been insanely exaggerated. Torts aren't clogging up the system.

Went to see Book of Mormon this evening. It is in Chicago until the beginning of October and I very much recommend it. There are some discount coupons available on line and I learned that if you show up at 5 and put you name in , they have a lottery that allows you to buy orchestra seats (first fees rows, main floor) for $25.

It is written by the guys from South Park and is hilarious with very good music.
