I tried to say something about the 20% pay cut I'm facing and Topix said I can't call our Beloved Leaders anything derogatory. It wasn't profanity...I said clowns. But apparently, putting that word and the city in which they play their games in the same sentence is bad.

Apps are pretty small things though (but maybe with their data files...) Anyway, wouldnt you free up more space by deleting some songs and pictures?

You delete the app to free up memory space on your mobile device.

If you download enough apps, it can make a difference. I just cleaned off a bunch of games I'd downloaded for nick's kids.

Depends on the app. My old phone only had a little over 300MB available to install apps. All those angry bird games are 40 mb or more. Chrome browser? 57 mb. Facebook? 27mb.

That stuff adds up quick

Apps get installed to a different partition. They do not share space with your personal documents. Deleting photos will not open up space for apps.

Weekend plans?

Tonight: friend's birthday party

Tomorrow: lunch with a friend

Sunday: church, then movie plans in the afternoon with A.

Since I have tomorrow night free, I might go downtown.... The place my friend L and I were at the night of the check-skipper is the same place I was at with co-workers on Wednesday, and the fabulous bartender remembered me BY NAME. Kinda makes me want to go back there, especially now that I feel like I've rejoined the land of the living. For right now, at least. I guess you could say I got a glimpse of what "moving on" looks like and I can handle it. And I can understand Jasper a little better. Sigh. The anger is fading.

LOL. Yeah, they shut them out 3 to nothing! They play again tonight and Sunday. They had to condense the season cause of the lock out ... so there aren't as many nights off between games as in a normal season. I'm loving it. I think they should do it that way every year.

The streak continues ... 20 games to start the season without a regulation loss. They are 17-0-3.

Tonight: Happy hour with girlfriends. Then hopefully picking up my computer from Nick's. Errand running (groceries, etc.).

Saturday: Hopefully making up for a whole week of no gaming.

Saturday night: Date night, I got us tickets to see Amy Schumer (comedian, she was in the CHarlie Sheen roast) at a neat old theatre.

Sunday: More gaming. Hopefully with some cooking/baking thrown in.

Bambi and I go to this brewery/restaurant, maybe every couple of months. We hadn't been there in maybe 8 months before going back and the waiter (I've only had him maybe 3 times) remembered what I order every time. We thought that was funny. Makes me like the guy a little bit more too.

Everyone,^^^^ this is Ricky. He's a nice poster.

I would like everyone to take turns introducing themselves to Ricky and maybe say something interesting about yourself.

Who wants to go first (this could be funny)?

BTW, I have name tags too.

IF you guys don't do it, I'll share something interesting about each of you (and that will be even funnier). Don't make me go there, lol!

Thanks. Maybe someday they will all put on their big boy pants and stop this sequestration...but I'm not counting on it.
