<quoted text>Did you end up going to the India fest? We just got back from our favorite Indian/Nepalese joint and I was thinkingof you.
:)
Yes, I went. It was smaller than I thought but nice.

It's chilly out tonight and I stayed in and watched a stupid comedy. But a few minutes ago, I was blindsided by a painful memory. I know the healing process will take time, blah blah blah, but it HURTS right now.

I'm sorry, guys. Part of the reason I found a therapist is to not wear out my friends on all my stuff. Even my imaginary ones.

No need to apologize. You still can't open up fully here, for privacy reasons, so I'm glad you have found a therapist.

This is going to last a year?! I've heard that....
Thanks Jess. I really am trying as hard as I can. One thing I learned in my first appointment was that I've never mourned before (my 98-year-old grandmother dying was sad but not exactly a shock).

You're not wearing me out, jmw. I've dumped boatloads of cr*p on friends in the past, I'm happy to return the favor.

I'm not usually up this late tho. I can't go to bed even tho I'm really sleepy tonight because Dickie's feet smell so bad I can't be in the same room as them. One of us may end up on the couch.

Fatboy Slim:

Weapon of Choice
Everybody Needs a 303
Give the Po' Man a Break
Jin Go Lo Ba
And I can't decide between Kalifornia and Love Island. They're both on the same album <mimishrug >

Yes, but only after Moon posted a YouTube link here. I'd stopped caring about videos a long time ago.

The first time I heard it I was on the el with the album freshly downloaded on my iPod. My head snapped up when the lyrics about walking without rhythm and not attracting the worm started. That's sh*t straight out of Frank Herbert's Dune! I looked around like did I really hear what I think I just heard? I must have looked like a complete fool.
