I don't think I got the links right, but the columns are there.
I'm half asleep at this moment. If the dog will stop dropping tennis balls outside my bedroom door and waking me up I would be late to this game.
Thanks for posting! You're fitting right in!:)

Oh, I know subway doesn't have ketchup. But it sounds like the store employee was offended that someone would put ketchup on his work of art.
I didin't read anything in that that leads me to believe he was offended by the request for ketchup. He simply did not have it and the patron got pissed and things got more heated from there.

You're right, I re-read it.

I hate when you're right!

I spent yesterday evening with my friend K, visiting from Japan, and met her (Japanese) boyfriend for the first time. So relaxing, so much fun. He's a sweetie, and when we asked him what he liked best about Florida (she took him all over: Orlando, St. Augustine, Miami, the Keys) he said Cuban food.:)

It's nice to feel like I still have some NORMAL friends, even if they live on the opposite side of the earth....

There is nothing "normal" about liking cuban food.

One of my greatest pet peeves is standing behind some dude ordering something that isn't even on the menu and then arguing about it. My support goes to the sandwich "artist" and the customer should be drug out into the street and shot.
And I order my dogs with mustard, relish, AND ketchup.
I am soooo sorry to hear that, but it does explain a lot about you. Sigh.

Come to Chicago and I will take you to Carnivale and change your mind. Unless you need to go to a Chicago steak house instead.

Not to insult your Chicago restaurant, but Race lives in South Florida. Who in their right mind leave SoFla and head to Chicago for Cuban food?

Although you hot dog snobs might be happy to know, Tonka jr seems to like just mustard on his hot dog. Not sure how that happened. Didn't learn it from me.

So when he gets to the onions, pickle relish, celery salt and the hot peppers, tomatoes, on a poppy seed bun you can tell him he's got it just right.

I really don't do condiments, except mayo with a bunch of dill weed mixed in but we do have to have something to brag about up here.

We've been over this time and time again.

All those other things you listed: grilled peppers & onions

As a Chicagoan, I'm ashamed to say that I agree with this.

But I never ask for ketchup on a dog in public; I'd rather live with the mustard then deal with the shame.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Gemini

A little give and take goes a long way, so try to be flexible and malleable when dealing with others. It will also pay to ask people what they think rather than to make sweeping assumptions on their behalf, because you could be in for a surprise. A child may have some interesting information for you, or they could make a statement that really sets you thinking.
