So the government should not be allowed to track your guns or tell you what kind you can have or tell you where you can smoke (with both issues having significant health and safety implications) but it should be allowed to tell you what you can name your own child?
Never let it be said you were ever held back by inconsistency.
Are you denying you're a liberal? We've been over this before, you won't name ONE conservative ideal you support.

Reconcile the point I made first - your inconsistency between the government not having a say re: guns and smoking but having a say re: names - then it'll be your turn and we'll move on to my political agenda.

I tried that already, remember? I asked how it's inconsistent for me but not for you? I'm not waiting for an answer because I know you can't explain your hypocrisy. Now, back to your political agenda...

Hey, so an amazing show returns tomorrow night. Justified on FX. Timothy Oliphant stars, and it is an excellent show. My bf got me into it, I thought it would just be another tough guy show but it really is very well done. We are having a bunch of people over for the season premiere.

That's just about the answer I was expecting. Duck, dodge and deflect. If you're not going to play fair then back to your cancer research or whatever meaningful use you are making of your time off.

I see you're continuing to dodge the question. I see right through your misdirection and trying to turn it back around on me.

And I spend my time off watching TV and drinking. Meaningful enough?

Well, I just discovered a wrap at Trader Joe's that just might derail my good intentions.

It's a whole wheat torilla (starts off good, right?) with turkey, stuffing, cranberries and cream cheese. It is so f*cking GOOD!

This is for Race, an add on to the AR15 style gun that legally allows the user to fire 100 rounds in 7 seconds when using belt fed ammo. I am sure he will be saving up to get one.

No, just allowed to tell you what you CAN'T name your child. Didn't the government step in a few years back and took a baby from a white surpremacy couple for naming it Hitler? And talk about consistency, you're all about freedoms and letting people do what they want... unless it's about the rights of gun ownership, rights of religion, smoking and wearing seatbelts... Typical liberal hypocricy.
And how, exactly, are liberals keeping religious rights away from you?

Don't you uderstand? Its his RIGHT to have every store cater to him and his religion. If the Walmart greeter says Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas, his rights are being violated. If PUBLIC schools don't take time to say the prayers of his religion, his rights are being violated.

So that game sure was an ass-kicking last night.

I'm off to paint and drink wine tonight, yay. And I'm meeting (interviewing?) a potential dog walker after work and another one tomorrow night. They both charge the same so I guess it'll come down to who I click with better. One is a retired lady who lives in my building and the other is younger and has a professional service and does this as her full-time job. I've had both types of dog walkers in the past so I really have no idea which way I'll end up leaning, but it's good to have options.

You can't be serious.

Let's see, we can start with libs suing schools for having Christmas plays, move on to suing towns that put a nativity scene on public property, from there we can go to suing stores that say Merry Christmas... Need I go on?

Co-worker's daughter does not go back to school till tomorrow. So today is last day of freedom. She's like 13. At home. Mom called her at around 10am. No answer. Mom got worried and left work to rush home. What do you think a typical teen is doing at 10am on a morning where she does not have school?

SLEEPING. Now mom is mad she didn't answer the phone and sending her to the neioghbor's house(they have daughter same age) till she gets home from work. Daughter is mad that she's being sent over there for doing nothing wrong.

Co-worker is catching shit cause he tried using logic withthe wife and pointed out that she typically don't get up till like 11:30 as it is and basically sounds like he's taking daughter's side.

Mom's being nutty.

Nick has two coworkers who are that helicoptery. Nick's too helicoptery for MY preferences, but the two women he works with are OFF THE CHARTS. You know, like a 14yo staying home from school with a cold, so mom stays home with him.
