It's all due to low pay in America.MSN - August 4, 2014 - The suburbs aren't the middle-class haven many imagine them to be as new numbers show 16.5 million suburban Americans are living beneath the poverty line.
The suburbs surrounding Colorado Springs now have seven Census tracts with 20% or more residents in poverty, according to a report released Thursday by the Brookings Institution. In 2000, it had none. 35% of residents are now considered to be below the poverty line defined as a family of four making $23,492 or less in 2012.
We all know the economy is on fire and everything but this doesn't align very well with that liberal assumption.
Even WalMart is hurting. Turns out they don't pay their employees enough to shop there.
Back to Henry Ford's great idea.
Pay the workers enough so they can become consumers and buy your products.
Taxpayers subsidize WalMart by paying for Medicaid and foodstamps because these criminals won't pay their employees a decent wage.
But you're way too ignorant to understand any of that..........
