DON'T WANT TO WORK? VOTE DEMOCRAT
February 11, 2014
In the latest edition of Politico Magazine, Benjamin K. Hunnicut, a professor of Leisure Studies at the University of Iowa, penned an article asking the question: "Why do Republicans Want Us to Work All the Time?" This item was in response to the Congressional Budget Office's report last week detailing the fact that President Obama's signature health care law would effectively reduce the U.S. work force by nearly 2.5 million over the next decade.
Hunnicut wants to know what's wrong with not working?
Jamelle Bouie wrote in the Daily Beast wrote his latest column entitling it "Republicans to America:'Work Moochers!'" in which he said "Conservatives are attacking the Affordable Care Act by defining "work" as wage labor, and condemning anyone who chooses to step away from the market."
Bouie blasted Oklahoma's Congressman Tom Cole (R) and Missouri Rep. Roy Blunt (R) on ABC's "This Week" for their concept of work by saying: "Obamacare doesn’t discourage people from working. Rather, by providing for the purchase of health insurance, it gives people the option to retire early, move to part-time work, or quit jobs to pursue other options. Now, under the Affordable Care Act, you can leave your corporate office to take care of your kids, secure in the knowledge that you could still afford health insurance for you and your family."
What is that?
Bouie is saying the Obamacare is "liberating"! It frees you from the slavery of work so you can stay at home if you want and get free healthcare.
Let's see: stay at home and collect welfare so you can pay your bills, food stamps, so you can eat, section 8 so you and have a free roof over your head; and now free healthcare. With all the freebies, ask yourself the question: "Why work?"
Now, sensing that you can every anything you need for free, without having to work, who is promoting that? Democrats. And who is promoting work? Republicans.
Now let me process that ... Oh, I see, if I vote Democrat I will never have to work again. If I vote Republican, I will have to work and be constantly reminded that I am self-reliant.
Common sense tells us if the Democrats push 51% of the American public onto the public dole, they will never loose power. And if, say, 75% of Americans don't work, who will pay for all the freebies? There will not be enough money to go around to support the welfare state.
Then what?
Simple common sense tells me that if the economy collapses, and there are no more freebies to go around, there will be trouble. Can you spell R-I-O-T?
People leaving the workforce in order to comply for subsidies is a disastrous policy. But that is the policy of the Democratic Party.
Remember back in 2010, then Speaker Nancy Pelosi touted the Affordable Care Act as a bill "not only about the health security of America; it's about jobs. In its life, it will create 4 million jobs, 400,000 jobs almost immediately."
When the CBO released their findings last week, current Speaker John Boehner seized on it to bolster his assertion that Obamacare is a "job killer."
The CBO determined that "workers will choose to supply less labor -- given the new taxes and other incentives they will face and the financial benefits some will receive."
To many Democrats, apparently, that's all good.
Wisconsin's Democratic Rep. Mark Pocan marveled that parents who work three part-time jobs now could afford to work two: "They might be able to tuck their child in bed at night ... or go to an activity, which means they're better off."
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid hailed Obamacare for ending "job lock" -- the term for people sticking with a job they don't like in order to retain employer-based health care.
And who do these morons think is going to pay for this. Didn't Greece try something similar.

Whoops: Congressman Accidentally Reveals Why Democrats Really Want Amnesty
Author: Rusty WeissPosted: July 25, 2014Comments: 12
Rep. Luis Gutiérrez (D-IL) may have let the cat out of the bag when he confirmed the true reason behind his party’s push toward amnesty for illegal immigrants.

Elections. Specifically, amnesty would bring in 4-5 million new Democrats.

Gutiérrez, appearing on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, railed against portions of his own party standing in the way of human rights at the border. He urged his colleagues in the Senate not to play politics on this matter.

Then he provided this little dangling carrot.

Amnesty after all, can be a good thing for the Democrat party:

“Let me just say in about an hour, I’m going over to the White House. I’ll be meeting with Jeh Johnson and the Chief Legal Counsel to the President of the United States. We’re going to sit down and we’re going to negotiate additional terms and avenues the President can use and prosecutorial discretion, and I think we can get three or four or maybe even five million people.”

Watch the clip below (via Digitas Daily):

Of course, anyone who has been paying attention knows that increasing Democrat numbers is the one true goal behind a push for amnesty or immigration control.

Obama crony and former SEIU Vice President Eliseo Medina has the best look into the mindset of liberal lawmakers when it comes to immigration laws, or the lack thereof.

Medina previously served as a member of Obama’s National Latino Advisory Council and as honorary chair of the Democratic Socialists of America. As such, he used the platform of an America’s Future Now! Conference in 2009 to outline a plan for long-term Democrat rule through blanket amnesty.

“We reform the immigration laws; it puts 12 million people on the path to citizenship and eventually voters. If we have eight million new voters who care about, and will be voting, we will be creating a governing coalition for the long term.”

Rest assured, Democrats won’t stop in their pursuit of “a governing coalition for the long term.”

Hillary Clinton thought it was funny when Kaddafi died. Who’s laughing now?

In this 11-second video, then Secretary of State Clinton laughed about the fall of Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi, saying,“We came. We saw. He died.”

Today, over three years later, Libya, the nation, has degenerated into complete chaos.

The U.S. mainstream media largely lost interest Libya after Gaddafi’s death. It was “Mission Accomplished” from the new bureaus’ perspective. On to the next big story.

VIDEO: Democrat Rep:‘You Don’t Have a Right to Know’ What’s Going on in Your Government
July 25, 2014 By Greg Campbell
ZNortonRemember when the Obama Administration was meant to serve as the model for how a transparent government is supposed to operate? That promise of “hope’n’change” has produced the most secretive government administrations in the history of this nation.
To add insult to injury, the Democrats have continually fought to defend the president’s violations, abuses and secrecy with a hubris not seen in government since the days of King Louis XVI.
On Friday, Eleanor Holmes Norton, the non-voting congressional representative for the District of Columbia, defended the Obama Administration angrily as she declared that Americans have no right to know what goes on in their government.
“You don’t have a right to know everything in a separation-of-powers government, my friend. That is the difference between a parliamentary government and a separation-of-powers government,” Norton claimed during a House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing.
Allow me to make this clear: A Democrat representative told the House Oversight Committee that they have no right to scrutinize government. The committee, as the name would suggest, is responsible for overseeing the federal government as a check against abuses of power.
What Norton seems to have confused is that it is the very principle of scrutiny that defines a government that is equipped with a separation of powers. Each branch of government checks the power of the other branches of government.
It’s amazing that America possesses even one citizen who would believe such an obvious falsehood; it’s even more outrageous that America has a representative in Congress who believes this.
Affirmative Action strikes again. God help us.

Still, once I stop laughing, I get about the business of trying, with every fiber of my being, to defeat them. Not reason with them, not compromise with them, not suck up to them and certainly not trust them. Defeat them.
Oh, I’ll love them. I must. I’m commanded to by the Lord I serve. I’ll pray for them, too. Do it all the time. But I’ll never, ever, under any circumstances, trust them.
You may be surprised to learn that, in various forms, I get dozens of pieces of hate mail each week. Without exception, they are written by far-left liberals. My recent favorite came from a delightful bloke:
“Someday, someone may just choose to use their second amendment right (sic) to put a bullet in your worthless head. You are a disgusting waste of life you uneducated, non-human, uncivilized, evil, parasitic Nazi maggot. Shame on you.”
Right. Shame on me.
How do you reason with, compromise with, suck up to, or trust that? You don’t. You defeat it.
In Ann Coulter's book Demonic, How the Liberal Mob is Endangering America, the author quotes extensively from Gustave Le Bon's research on mob mentality. Le Bon, by the way, was a French physician, scientist and social psychologist who was the first to identify the phenomenon of mass psychology.
Le Bon's 1896 study called The Crowd: A Study of the Popular Mind, was groundbreaking and painted a disturbing picture of the behavior of mobs. He noted that far-leftists, from the French Revolution onward, habitually and by nature use mobs and riots to get their way. Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini used Le Bon's book to learn how to incite the mob. Coulter, in her usual dry and cutting wit, says that our Democrats could be used as Le Bon's study subjects today.
In another well-researched book written in 2011, Dr. Lyle H. Rossiter, M.D.(a Sociologist/Psychiatrist) found that the radical left's efforts to regulate, dictate and force people into subjugation in all matters from birth to death is a mental disease best characterized by Antisocial and Narcissistic Personality Disorders. His book, entitled The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness documents that far-left (or rather 'Progressive') liberalism is a mental disease which seeks to destroy anyone or anything that stands in the way. Rossiter, like Le Bon, says the rioting mob mentality is the most widely used tool of far-left, particularly Communists and the "New Progressives."
This far-left (Progressive) liberalism is in control of our government and society today. Left to grow in power, it will destroy the United States of America.
Abraham Lincoln forecast our current state of the union:“America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.”
President Obama sits atop the highest perch of a nation fast-sinking.“Everyone, stay calm. This is not happening,” he assures us.
But it is happening. We’re destroying ourselves from within. We’re going down, and the only way to stop it is to utterly defeat those responsible.
In the meantime, they sure are fun to laugh at.

July 25, 1965, was the day that Bob Dylan, the 24-year-old idol of the American folk-music scene, plugged in a Fender Stratocaster guitar and flabbergasted the audience at the Newport Folk Festival with an all-electric set. The audience reaction was emotional and loud, but even today, 49 years later, witnesses cannot agree on whether listeners were booing or cheering, and if the former,...
