This article just points out that the US supports some countries that are not democracies.
If the people demand a representative government chosen by the people, we should applaud those efforts. When you put leadership up to a vote, you get what you get as a result.
You evidently think we should only support democracy efforts if US friendly people get elected. You are the "America" this article is talking about.
When the Muslim Brotherhood won the election to lead in Egypt, Obama did the right thing in recognizing that win. He was cautious & when the MB tried to create a dictatorship, Obama supported the removal of the MB from the leadership.
