I'm sure the last thoughts of many of the nearly 2000 Iraqis who were executed by al Qaeda in the past few months were regretting Americans leave too soon.

However, they tried to defend their country which we invested much blood and treasure.

That makes them brave. Even though they're dead now.

Unfortunately, it's too late to help them now.

I know it isn't presently the same as a single payer system. Things tend to morph into something else as time goes by.
Lilly was advocating for a single payer system for all while complaining Florida didn't expand on Medicaid. That didn't make sense. What recourse does the public have when the federal government cuts its costs?
But you said it was & then gave me sh*t for correcting you.

States who did not take the Medicare expansion under the ACA did so solely for political purposes. Everyone knows this.

The ACA says the feds will cover the costs 100% for a couple years & then it slowly moves to covering 90%.

This argument you Tea Party morons make that we can't do this or can't do that because the future might be different is beyond stupid.

The fed will cover those cost as stated above unless Congress changes it. Congress can stop social security, medicare, food stamps, aid to children,- according to you, we shouldn't be doing any of those things.

You're just drunk. Sober up first. Then read posts that are as understandable as the reciting the alphabet. Which, of course, would sound like gibberish in your present state.

Hate to say it, but you and nuc are like two willfully ignorant peas in a clueless pod.

The SOFA agreement always stipulated residual troops would remain to protect what we had invested in Iraq. Just like residual troops remain in Korea, Japan and Germany.

Obama didn't like the war in Iraq and refused to listen to advise from the generals on the ground - both here and in Iraq - and waited for Maliki to "request" our presence remain there.

He virtually walked away before the negotiations began and couldn't wait to tell his liberal base that he got us out of Iraq so you all could get a tingle up your leg or pee your pants or whatever it is you do when he makes a major mistake.

Now look where we are. Still tingling or need to change your underpants?

states that rejected Medicaid (not Medicare) expansion did so to protect their taxpayers from exploding welfare rolls....

there is no guarantee that future Congresses will fund Medicaid at the levels that you claim....

and if they don't, the states are stuck with the bill.....

That's what GW Bush tried to explain to you and the rest of the American public. Getting Osama was necessary for closure. But we had much bigger fish to fry.
Certainly, even you don't think Osama was the only face of terrorism on 9/11 and afterwards.

Hi lying misleading ignorant Dummy liberal.

There is a difference between a release and a transfer to another country. The vast majority of detainees leave Gitmo under a transfer, which means they are transported to another country that places them under some type of restrictions. Some are incarcerated in those countries because of criminal charges, while others face monitoring or travel limitations.

Anti American brainwashed nonsense.
Letting the dictator Saddam Hussein off responsibility and blaming the USA.
Is this your ignorance of history or do you Hate America?
The mere fact you can't digest Clinton played a part in creating the animosity in Iraqi by rejecting any notion of this as reality and changing the subject to create a distraction is all you need to do to prove my point. It is you who is brainwashed.

All you liberals refuse to think Clinton and the Democrats didn't want to overthrow Saddam as far back as 1998 or that Clinton bombed Iraq and placed strict sanctions on Iraq so that children starved to death... but are ever so eager to act like Bush and the Republicans were the only ones who saw Saddam as a threat...and the Democrats were, oh, so innocent and naïve. This kind of willful ignorance is both embarrassing to all Americans and dangerous.

Wise up, Patrick. Your bare bias is showing.
