Good News for America
today
under President Obama!
The United States said on Tuesday it had captured a suspected ringleader of the 2012 attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, a raid that killed four Americans including the U.S. ambassador, and ignited a political firestorm in Washington.
Rear Admiral John Kirby, the Pentagon press secretary, said U.S. military troops, working with law enforcement personnel, captured Ahmed Abu Khatallah on Sunday in Libya and were holding him at a secure location outside the country.
A U.S. official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Khatallah was being held aboard an American ship after he was grabbed on the outskirts of Benghazi in an operation carried out by U.S. special operations forces.
Kirby said there were no civilian casualties in the operation and all U.S. personnel involved in the capture had safely left Libya. The Pentagon declined to discuss further details of the operation and it was not immediately clear whether there were non-civilian casualties.
A U.S. official said Khatallah would be charged and prosecuted through the U.S. court system and would not be sent to the prison for suspected al Qaeda militants in Guantanamo, Cuba.
Another American victory which may cause despair in the hearts of the trolls
Victory?

On person?

You misguided idiot Democrats will charge him in a civilian court.

Victory?

How many days before the ¨captured militia¨ leader claims The Video was the reason for the attack on the U.S. Embassy in Benghazi?

The winner will receive, well, nothing.

"poop" is one of those who believes this thread revolves around him. Just take a look at some of his statements he offers with no basis;
- He is a writer, i.e. his bio/fantasy to be released some summer
- His status as an All American baseball player at Wake who broke his leg sliding into home plate with the winning run in the college world series. A member of that team refuted that lie
- His dating of Hollywierd models and Circus Circus show girls and treating him at his favorite cafe, the Red Lobster
- His meetings and influence with the boy presidents aides when he goes to DC and meets with them
- His stating that he owned 3 or was it 3 1/2 homes that had bathrooms nicer than other folks homes
- His attacking others military service

Obama knew the ISIS had crossed into Iraq from Syria in January. It took two cities - now approaching the capital city of Baghdad - over five months' time.
But like everything else, this new crisis was a total surprise to him. And now we're having to ask Iran who we've sanctioned more times than we can count for help.
The IRS losing two years of emails during the targeting of conservatives was a surprise too.
Being the president to Barack Obama is just one surprise after another. Good thing he can read all about what's going on right under his nose here and abroad in the headlines.
Good news for America

CAIRO — United States commandos have captured the suspected ringleader of the attack on the United States mission in Benghazi, Libya, that killed Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, the White House and Pentagon officials said Tuesday.

Apprehension of the suspect, Ahmed Abu Khattala, is a major breakthrough in the two-and-a-half-year-old investigation into the attack, which also killed three other Americans. President Obama vowed swift action to bring the perpetrators to justice, but efforts to identity and prosecute the attackers were stymied by the chaos of the event and the broader mayhem in Libya.

Officials briefed on the investigation have said for more than a year that a plan to capture Mr. Abu Khattala was on Mr. Obama’s desk awaiting approval. But the administration held back, in part for fear that an American raid to retrieve him might further destabilize the already tenuous Libyan government. Diplomats also suggested that the United States investigators might have been struggling to produce sufficient witness testimony and other evidence to convict Mr. Abu Khattala of responsibility for the deaths in an American court.

The Pentagon announced that Mr. Abu Khattala had been captured on Sunday.“All U.S. personnel involved in the operation have safely departed Libya,” a Pentagon statement said.

President Obama issued a statement moments later. "Since the deadly attacks on our facilities in Benghazi, I have made it a priority to find and bring to justice those responsible for the deaths of four brave Americans,” Mr. Obama said.

The seizure of Mr. Abu Khattala by the American team, Mr. Obama said,“is a testament to the painstaking efforts of our military, law enforcement, and intelligence personnel. Because of their courage and professionalism, this individual will now face the full weight of the American justice system.”

A United States law enforcement official said the military-law enforcement team — composed of American commandos and F.B.I. agents — captured Mr. Abu Khattala somewhere on the outskirts of Benghazi. No shots were fired, no civilians were hurt and no one else was taken into custody, the official said, in what was apparently a surprise raid.

As a result, success in the conflict was often measured by the number of enemy troops killed. But over time, the public became skeptical of the U.S. Army's reports regarding the Vietcong body count. Many were also concerned about the growing number of American casualties. Westmoreland was called back to the United States in 1967 to report on the war before Congress. Anna Kooiman of Fox & Friends had to apologize for reporting a fake news story about Obama offering to personally pay to keep the "International Museum of Muslim Culture". Fox news claimed, "We Made A Bad Mistake...Based On Poor Research". There's that "mistake" again.
Oh, and again, in August, Bill O'Reilly had to apologize for "mistakenly" reporting that Republicans were not invited to speak at a MLK "I Have a Dream" speech anniversary event.(They were, but turned it down). His excuse, "I simply assumed that since all the speakers were liberal Democrats, Republicans were excluded." Another "mistake".

Sluggish sales for Hillary’s new book

Hillary Rodham Clinton’s new book is called “Hard Choices”— but not many people have been choosing to buy it.

The former US first lady and New York senator’s tome is more bomb than bombshell, according to a new report on its sales.

Only 60,000 hardcover copies and 24,000 e-books in its first week, a source told The Weekly Standard.

The book’s publisher, Simon & Schuster, was “hoping and praying” that 150,000 print copies had been sold in the first week, the source told the magazine.

“Between us, they are nervous at S&S,” the source said.“It’s a bomb, but it will be interesting to see how they spin it.”

Go ahead, Libs. Spin it.
