What do you think of this?
Pope Francis urges governments to redistribute wealth to the poor — maybe even half of it
Pope Francis called on “legitimate redistribution” of wealth by the world’s governments to undo the “economy of exclusion” underlying capitalist society.
The pontiff appealed Friday to U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and the heads of major U.N. agencies in Rome, warning that wealth inequality promoted a “culture of death” at odds with Catholic teachings.
“An awareness of the dignity of each of our brothers and sisters whose life is sacred and inviolable from conception to natural death must lead us to share with complete freedom the goods which God’s providence has placed in our hands,” Pope Francis said.
These may be “material goods but also intellectual and spiritual ones,” Francis said, and he urged the world’s people “to give back generously and lavishly whatever we may have earlier unjustly refused to others.”
The Catholic Church’s first Latin American pope has upset American conservatives with his critiques of the unrestrained free market and “trickle-down” economics, which he dismissed as naïve and unsupported by the facts.

Up in the right hand corner of my screen is a little stop sign with ABP on it. Just under is the blocked ad counter. You may have to enable it or it may not function on your device. You think he will be the first by opening up the Vatican vaults and redistributing that wealth? It's always easy to tell other people to give away people's money but when it comes to yours not so much!

You are the most clueless person here.
Communism in Russia was well established long before Stalin took control.
Try Karl Marx, Leon Trotsky, Vladimir Lenin, John Reed, so many others.
So in your simple mind Stalin is the model for communism?? How stupid are you??
It was called communism, but it actually wasn't.
As Teabag said, nobody has actually practiced comunism, just as nobody actually practices democracy.
We were never meant to be a democracy. In a democracy the majority, lower incomes, can vote themselves redistributive measures. The minority becomes subject to the dictatorship of the majority. Democracies always fail, as the founders noted.

It doesn't matter what your bing crap says.
We are discussing political philosophies, not governments.
You started it with a clueless comment about fascism and communism being the same.
When it was pointed out you were FOS, you started on one of your nitwit justification searches, bringing in all sorts of stupidity.
You've now got several people telling you you don't have a clue, yet you persist.
Give it a rest. Don't you have something else to do but appear the idiot here??
I mean, you're posting nonstop today..........
Communist countries is a meaningless term.
You really don't get it.
I have you and woodtick foolishly yelling it isn't communism despite numerous sources disagreeing with you.

You can claim there is such a thing as "pure" communism all you want. The bottom line is in the application which fails miserably. There has been numerous attempts to get it "right" and they all have turned out the same.

Yes, communism and fascism has some very similar ideologies. Something your article acknowledged. You appear to want to ignore the fact that when fascism first appeared numerous people thought it was a totally terrific idea. Fascism failed out of vogue because it was an ideology that failed in practice. The same goes for communism.

All these systems are untenable. They're all a combination of many different philosophies..........just as anything called 'democracy' or a 'republic' is.

We are more capitalistic than many nations, and it's not turning out too well for the masses,is it??

So where's the democracy if 1% can amass 35% of the nations wealth??

Capitalism is a ponzi scheme, at the end of the day. Winner take all is not good for a homogeneous society, as Pope Francis loudly proclaims.

I know your feelings on religion, but sometimes religious leaders are the ones who curb the greed and avarice and basically shame people into being kinder human beings..

america is a very selfish place these days..........

Stalin was brutal in enforcing his style of communism.
You like woodtick keep wanting to claim that if it isn't "pure"-- as you like to define the term--that the country wasn't organized on the communism model.
Again numerous sources disagree with you
http://www.bing.com/search...
You compared Communism to Fascism, nitwit.

What does Stalin have to do with that comparison??

You ran away from your original comment and made a Straw Man.

Again. You love straw men. They allow you to escape fromyour dumb comments (you think.......)

look at the definition of what communism is and find some part of the USSR that reflected that...
should be very simple, huh?

the USSR was a dictatorship, nothing else...not even close to communism...the socialist countries of Scandinavia are more communistic than the USSR ever was...

Wow. Another dumbass right whiner who doesn't understand time zones. The Benghazi attack that killed the Ambassador happened in the afternoon DC time. No one was sleeping.
Fire fighters are not arrested if they can't reach a fire in time to rescue anyone still inside.
Please explain this timeline, azzhole. Why would Stevens be going to sleep for the evening if the attack happened in the afternoon? Fool.
