Another Fox Myth, the real percentage of welfare drug users is around 2 to 3% compared to the National average of 8% of the population being drug users. So how do you figure that ????
It's another tea bagger myth who have no f....g idea on the real economic picture is.
It's like me saying watch the ringers crap their pants if the IRS decides to audit them.

Here are the FACTS: A total f....g waste of taxpayers money looking for ghosts that just were not there. A huge saving of $563 dollars which probably doesn't not even cover one drug test.
During the past year, the state of Utah has spent over $30,000 giving drug tests to welfare recipients. In that time period, only 2.6 percent of those tested were found to have used illegal substances — well below the national use rate of 8.9 percent. As in all eight states where drug tests are used to determine eligibility for government assistance, specifically Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Utah’s program was allegedly initiated on the grounds of saving the state money.
However, across the board these programs fail to do so — and that’s not even their biggest problem.
In 2009, Arizona was the first state to adopt a program that drug-tested recipients of welfare whom officials had “reasonable cause” to believe were using drugs. Besides stigmatizing recipients of government assistance, implying that they’re a group of no-good drug fiends, the bill was implemented to try rand resuscitate a failing budget, and Arizona officials believed that testing could save the state $1.7 million a year.
But in 2012, three years and 87,000 screenings later, only one person had failed a drug test. Total savings from denying that one person benefits?$560. Total benefits paid out in that time?$200 million. Even if we include the savings from cutting benefits to the 1,633 people who didn’t return the pre-test survey, it brings the total to only 0.1 percent of the amount distributed over that period.
"people who didn't return the pre-test survey".....

ROTFLMFAO......

only government could be that incompetent.....

Where are you getting this 2 or 3 million figure Carol? Fox News? Tea leaves? Your anal orifice?
The LA Times reported on March 30 that based on "enrollment reports, surveys, and interviews," the ACA had already provided health care coverage to 9.5 million previously uninsured individuals as the initial enrollment deadline drew to a close. The report accounted for individuals who had signed up through the exchanges, people who will now receive insurance through Medicaid expansion, people who bought plans directly through insurers, as well as young adults who choose to remain on their parent's health plans.
Healthcare is still in the province of the private sector you damned liar. Coverage is provided by the private sector insurance industry and private sector doctors and hospitals are the providers. What the ACA does is rein in the abuses that big insurance used to pad their bottom lines.
And again, what the hell does Medicare have to do with anything?
Medicaid is welfare, not insurance....so the Obama Times is lying right from the start.....

First, Dave and USA was bemoaning that the guest program was no more-just providing history of where it went to.
There was legislation that removed children from the fields and the government paid for government sponsored day care by the late 1960s.
They weren't ALL living under trucks. Many farmers were providing housing which was later legislated out as part of wages paid.
The conditions were bad BUT this is not the 1960s.
It wasn't a guest program it was servitude at best.

Get acquainted with Edward R Murrow's, Harvest of Shame.

I watched those people suffer in the fields throughout my childhood and teens.

So you would prefer that American's access to healthcare be controlled by corporate entities whose only concern is profit margins? That's totally idiotic! Healthcare should be a fundamental right for all Americans and not be controlled by back office pencil pushers who decide whether you get needed care based on their bottom line.
Single payer would also be good for businesses as they wouldn't have to worry about the expenses involved in covering their employees and could put that money into expansion or increasing salaries.
the only people whose access to care is limited are those foolish enough to join an HMO.....

or foolish enough to select an ObamaKKKare policy with a provider network in Bangladesh.....

Tell the Dems, they are the ones who- under union pressure- removed the guest worker program from immigration legislation in the 1960s.
It wasn't reinstated in the 1986 law for the same reasons.
Write your congressman and request this.
Try to stay on point. We are discussing israel. Are you saying if Palestine had instituted a guest worker program it would have kept the zionists from invading their country? Interesting.

“Well, it can smell like socialism all you want,” he said, responding to a viewer’s comment,“but why should a guy pushing a pencil make more than a guy doing back-breaking work digging a ditch? I notice CEOs, they never sweat. They wear suits all day, ties, they go to lunch — and they get paid the big dough.”

“Anybody working 40 hours a week should not have to be subsidized in any way, shape, or form by the government,” Ventura added.“They should be able to earn a wage to live off of.”
The two systems by themselves, it’s been proven they can’t survive. You saw what happened when they took the handcuffs off Wall Street and had pure capitalism back in ’08 — they robbed us blind! The government has to be there to put some type of regulations on it or the thieves will rob you to death.”

Well let's see... you make a claim that something is factual, yet can't back it up. But at the same time, you demand others prove to your satisfaction their claims are factual? While claiming you're not negative?

Doesn't that make you a liar.... and a hypocrite?
