Line Drawing of Pioneer Plaque
On the plaque a man and woman stand before an outline of the spacecraft. The man's hand is raised in a gesture of good will. The physical makeup of the man and woman were determined from results of a computerized analysis of the average person in our civilization.
The key to translating the plaque lies in understanding the breakdown of the most common element in the universe - hydrogen. This element is illustrated in the left-hand corner of the plaque in schematic form showing the hyperfine transition of neutral atomic hydrogen. Anyone from a scientifically educated civilization having enough knowledge of hydrogen would be able to translate the message. The plaque was designed by Dr. Carl Sagan and Dr. Frank Drake and drawn by Linda Salzman Sagan...."

Just because Al Gore is not a scientist does not mean the information he put together is not correct.

According to you, Mr Education, teachers can't teach science because they are not scientists, they are not historians, they are not mathematicians.

I have read about climate change in materials provided by climatologists. Al Gore only raised the subject. I read & watched & learned about it.

What is your excuse? "Oh that evil Al Gore said it so it' can't be true? " Now that is stupid,Mr Education.

Saw this on the news. Eric holder has been firing blanks for 6b years and I think the powder burns are taking their toll. My father was a staunch democrat and if he were alive today he would tell you that he is truly ashamed to see what this administration is trying to do to the average, every day working class people of this country. I miss him a lot but am thankful he is not seeing what has happened to the democratic party.

I KNOW A LOT ABOUT Education RealDave....a lot......
If you knew anything about education, you would know you need advanced mathematics to study any science. Explaining events in science is about finding ways to represent those events in mathematical terms & using mathematics to describe & predict these events.
