But if you want to know how the enemy won in Iraq after Obama gave up without a fight showing weakness on the world stage again, read this.

We withdrew our residual troops much too soon. But Iraq's stability in a strategic part of the world wasn't on Obama's agenda.

also predicted Romney would win,
also predicted no one would sign up for Obamacare.
LOL
We all knew some would sign up. The question remains how many "signed up" who were already on Medicare and how many "enrolled" but haven't gotten the bill yet for their first premium which they might not be able to afford - and unless you pay, you're not covered. You knew that, right? No one knows how many have paid, or how many signed up for Medicare, or how many signed up who were already on Medicare, or how many had insurance but lost it and had to go on the exchanges. A lot of those people were not the "uninsured". A lot of them were already on Medicare or had insurance that was cancelled..

The numbers are important to know. But the White House is "mum". A recent study claims less than 1 million who were actually uninsured signed up and/or have already paid.

More importantly, how many young people signed up and have paid their first premium? They counted heavily on the young and healthy bearing the brunt of the cost. A large number of young people rejected it. Did they have a change of heart at the last minute?
Yeah

"Scott Walker's MIA in Wisconsin
Print Email
April 02, 2014 5:00 am • Cap Times editorial

The highlight of Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s last week wasn’t much of a highlight.

Walker, who can barely focus on what’s going on in Wisconsin these days because he is so overwhelmed with presidential ambition, secured an invitation to spend the weekend in Las Vegas with billionaire Sheldon Adelson.

Adelson, a casino mogul who is one of the world’s wealthiest men, gives generously to Republican candidates and anti-labor causes.

Very generously.

Adelson’s money kept former House Speaker Newt Gingrich in contention for the 2012 Republican presidential nod long after the party leaders — and most voters — had given up on Gingrich. Then Adelson gave just as generously to efforts to elect Mitt Romney. And to elect Republicans to the Senate. And to elect Republicans to the House.

In 2012, Adelson and his wife donated roughly $100 million to GOP candidates, committees and super PACs, along with various anti-union initiatives.

One of the beneficiaries of his largesse was Walker, who collected at least $250,000 from Adelson for his 2012 gubernatorial recall campaign.

But Walker wants a lot more money from Adelson for his 2016 presidential run. So he lined up for an appearance with fellow presidential prospects such as former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and scandal-plagued New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie at the Vegas gathering hosted by Adelson. As the Washington insider publication Politico put it, this was “a cattle call of sorts for prospective GOP presidential candidates.”

Unfortunately, according to Politico,“Adelson skipped Walker’s speech, which was light on foreign policy specifics.”

Walker should probably be glad that the mega-donor did not hear the Wisconsin governor admit to the event — where much of the attention was on international affairs — that foreign policy is “not an area that governors typically look at.”

Walker’s speech betrayed a desperate desire to be taken seriously, but he did not have the skills to make that happen — as was all too obvious when the governor attempted to establish his military bona fides by explaining to the crowd that he was the commander in chief of the Wisconsin National Guard.

“The speech, to a gathering of influential Jewish donors and activists well-schooled in Middle Eastern affairs, would seem to offer little to skeptics who see foreign policy as a weakness for a potential Walker 2016 presidential run,” noted Politico.

Ouch...."

No president is prepared for war. Especially this one. But at least he had Bush's strategies to follow as a blueprint. Before he surrendered in Iraq.

But time to watch Fallon.(Don't tell Galt.) So goodnight.

Il Douche's lies exposed:

Is the real Obamacare total just 858,000 -- not 7 million?
'The debate over repealing this law is over': Obama boasts 7.1 MILLION have signed up to Obamacare - but study shows just 858,000 newly insured Americans have paid up! Press secretary Jay Carney will only say 'we're aggregating a lot of data' when asked how many enrollees have paid for coverage…

WaPo jumped the shark with their Koch bro article linking them to Keystone

"In response to my initial post, you said that you wrote the article linking Koch to Keystone for political reasons:“[I]ssues surrounding the Koch brothers’ political and business interests will stir and inflame public debate in this election year.” The significance of that admission became evident today when Democrats Henry Waxman and Sheldon Whitehouse wrote a letter to Koch Industries, questioning whether Koch has some interest in the Keystone Pipeline in reliance on your March 20 article and the IFG “report” that you cited. Many thousands of readers of my posts will wonder whether the Post’s story was a put-up job: a collaborative effort between you and Congressional Democrats, intended to serve as a pretext for politically-motivated harassment of Koch Industries

Relying on your thoroughly-debunked March 20 article, Waxman and Whitehouse posed a long series of questions to Koch and requested various documents."
