Well, at least you seem to admit that Issa is a snake oil salesman. Shouldn't surprise me at all that a Rethug would hold that up as a virtue. What you are saying is that Issa is "good" because he manipulate the truth better than most.

Welll.. I don' know... I theenk part of dyur problem is conflating "growth" weeth an increased "standard of leeving." In reality, chust the growth part alone weel pretty much guarantee the majority of the pipple a lower standard of leeving. So here ees the fly in your porridge, so to speak: dyu need "growth" to ensure more cash flow from the silly pointless trash you buy from china and then sell to whites through Walmart or the Penny Chopper. But in order to create economic "growth" for dyu, you got to create population "growth," for everybody else which pretty much dooms them to a lower standard of leeving. Can dyu not see thees simple equation?

"Yet in all societies, even those that are most vicious, the tendency to a virtuous attachment is so strong that there is a constant effort towards an increase of population. This constant effort as constantly tends to subject the lower classes of the society to distress and to prevent any great permanent amelioration of their condition".
—Malthus T.R. 1798. An Essay on the Principle of Population.

Thees guy saw it clearly and he didn't even have a 84" flat screen television, eh, chimaco?

Maybe what dyu meant to say is that, "eef alll incomes are equal, there wuld be no incentive for DYU to work?" But when's the last time THAT happened?

"The years from the end of World War II into the 1970s were ones of substantial economic growth and broadly shared prosperity.

"Incomes grew rapidly and at roughly the same rate up and down the income ladder, roughly doubling in inflation-adjusted terms between the late 1940s and early 1970s.

The income gap between those high up the income ladder and those on the middle and lower rungs — while substantial — did not change much during this period."

"Beginning in the 1970s, economic growth slowed and the income gap widened.
Income growth for households in the middle and lower parts of the distribution slowed sharply, while incomes at the top continued to grow strongly. The concentration of income at the very top of the distribution rose to levels last seen more than 80 years ago (during the “Roaring Twenties”)."

FACT: People were more inclined to work before the 1970's rapid rise in growth inequality. We've gone downhill ever since.

your lack of understanding of mathematics is staggering....

if incomes "grow at the same rate (percentage) up and down the income ladder", then the gap in income will continue to widen....

the only way that you Communists will ever achieve income equality is to screw the middle class.....by holding their wages steady while increasing the lower end...

on the other hand, the minimum wage increase of 24% in the two years between 2007 and 2009 far exceeded the average percentage wage increase, which was essentially flat during this period....

fun with numbers...

Issa borrowed $50,000 from family members to invest in Quantum Enterprises. Then after loaning $60,000 to one of their clients, car alarm manufacturer Steal Stopper, he took control of it by foreclosing after the founder missed one payment. The founder stayed on as an employee. Issa made his fortune off of the backs of others. He's a snake.
