Russian President Vladimir Putin broke his silence on the Ukraine crisis Tuesday, saying the country's former leader had been ousted in an "unconstitutional coup" but insisted the use of force would be a "last resort."

When asked if the possibility of Russian military intervention in Ukraine existed, Putin said: "There is no need to do that now."

Under growing pressure from world leaders who have condemned Russia's intervention in the strategic Crimean Peninsula, Putin made his first public comments on the crisis and suggested Viktor Yanukovych was Ukraine's legitimate leader.

*********"This was an anti-constitutional coup and military seizure of power. Who argues with this?”******Putin told reporters shortly before Secretary of State John Kerry landed in Kiev.

Only IDIOTS would argue that FACT.

LOGIC!

(and US dollars would be Far BETTER spent HERE-in the US--on our OWN military and infrastructures-rather than blindly reaching it over to ROGUES of UNACCOUNBTABLE, near INSOLVENT, more broke azz THUGOCRACY of UNtellling WHAT for UNtelling what!)

Let's see how well you deal with facts.

The President of the United States ordered the Armed Forces of the United States to remove Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq.

Mission accomplished.

Tell the Armed Forces they accomplished their mission.
I'm betting you're so indoctrinated with hatred of the US Armed Forces, you can't make yourself acknowledge fact.

Yes and capitalism says when the value of your currency drops against your customer's currency, you get less for your product.

Capitalism also says if you don't sell your product, you get no income.

Da, da, but beyond learning the language, visiting the country, and sleeping with the women what else do you want me to do? There is no "capitalism" in Russia, schatzi, there is only oil money, the wild east, and, like here, the power it can buy. Sadly, it is not yours in this case, huh? So here we go again down the long yellow brick road, eh? The same road that leads to Venezuela, Brasil, Cote' d'Ivoire.. it is your greed, your need for "industry deregulation" which drives your politics. You care not one whit whether your greed leads to the deaths of millions because money is your God. Profit is your religion. That is not "capitalism," that's fascism. But what's in a word, huh?

"Capitalism" is a word like... "patriotism." Not remarkably, you will rarely see one without the other. Your flags and your "country" songs are merely the means you have been taught to use to hide your fundamental nakedness, which is singularly unimpressive, incidentally. You use the Marxist communist chinese to do your dirty work, then return to waving a flag of no particular color to hide your frantic efforts to hide the money. You must die. You WILL die. there is no other way.

If all we wanted was Saddam idiot we could have done that with one well guided missile or drone. Iraq was and will be forever a total blunder concocted by two total imbeciles [ now there's a word you should be familiar with] Our soldiers always perform admirable, but to be used shamelessly like in Iraq is not to be admired. Only a total moron[which again you are more than qualified in that area] could possible condone that action.

Unbelievable. Try again, moron. Here's the facts again.
There are no quotes from Bush in the post. The only thing in the post are the facts of history.
July 14, 2008: Barney Frank characterizes future prospects of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as "solid".
Seemingly every day for about month, a different legendary financial company teetered on collapse. Stocks recorded some of their most dramatic drops in history, including the Dow's epic 778-point drop on Sept. 29 -- the biggest ever single-day slide.
You need to work on your ability to read and comprehend the written English language. I'll give you a hint where your ability to do that is woefully inadequate: "...collapsed our economy...." which occurred on September 29, 2008, after two years (fuck you) oversight by Democrats Dodd and Frank, from whom we heard a constant stream of lies right up to the collapse.
Now, try to answer the post again. Here it is for your convenient reference:
Would that be the recession caused by the Democrats' Marxist CRA program that collapsed our economy after two years of oversight by Democrats Dodd and Frank, from whom we heard a constant stream of lies right up to the collapse, moron?

SEVASTOPOL – Large contingents of Russian troops reportedly massed at the crossing between the Crimean peninsula and eastern Ukraine Monday, in preparation for a possible attack. The Russian army already has approval from its parliament to operate in Ukraine, and the Russian media have been reporting for days about Ukrainian “provocations” and assaults on Russian civilians that necessitate a Russian response.
Preparations for the invasion come against the backdrop of numerous confrontations inside Crimea between Russian soldiers – operating in the guise of the “Crimean Self-Defense Forces”– and Ukrainian soldiers stationed in the peninsula who have remained loyal to the government in Kiev.
The United States on Monday suspended all military engagements with Russia because of the crisis in Ukraine, including military exercises and port visits. The announcement from the Pentagon came hours after President Barack Obama warned the U.S. government will look at a series of economic and diplomatic sanctions that would isolate Moscow.
"We call on Russia to de-escalate the crisis in Ukraine and for Russian forces in Crimea to return to their bases," Pentagon spokesman Rear Admiral John Kirby said in a statement.
The U.S. military does not take such steps lightly and took no such action, for example, last year during turmoil in Egypt that saw the army topple the country's first freely elected leader.
I watch the news shown on Moscow television. They show a President and ministers of a new government of the independent country of Crimea. They show representatives of the regional governments in Kharkov and Odessa expressing their wish to be part of the country of Crimea.

We're not seeing this on our "news" networks.

The Ukraine will remain at the forefront of heated burners, until viable, agreed upon solutions are implemented, concerning the MANY natural resource pipelines that run to and fro across Europe and mid East Asia, as well as the rights of use of the Crimean seaport, to and from, the rest of the world.

Actually it's really a little surprising that the bluster hadn't reared sooner than this...there's still a lot of UNdeveloped, third worldish, countries over there, Galt.

There was no new legislation necessary after the Republicans gave the Democrats no effective oversight of their Marxist CRA program in exchange for the Democrats supporting the war in Iraq. The Democrats didn't oppose the war in Iraq until there was nothing left for the Republicans to give them.

You seem to have a very severe problem reading and comprehending the written English language. I'm wondering if we have to start at the beginning and, perhaps, tell you what the definitions of "is" is. Obviously you cannot determine the difference in the written English language between the beginning of a trend and the ultimate catastrophic collapse that occurs when some threshold has been reached, moron.

Oh I remember them putting lime in the trout streams. Trouble is they never proved a thing.

Remember the big “acid rain” scare during the 1970s and 1980s attributing damage to lakes and forests to emissions from Midwestern utilities? If so, did you ever hear the results of a more than half-billion-dollar, 10-year-long national Acid Precipitation Assessment Program study that was initiated in 1980 to research the matter?

Probably not.

As it turned out, those widespread fears proved to be largely unfounded, since only one species of tree at a high elevation suffered any notable effect, and acidity in lakes was traced to natural causes. The investigating scientists reported that they had “turned up no smoking gun; that the problem is far more complicated than it been thought; that other factors combine to harm trees; and that sorting out the cause-and-effect was difficult and in some cases impossible.”
