Ukrainians elected a pro western government that opened the door to Europe. In came the Euro trash. The same people who elected the pro west government changed their mind after they saw what the Euro trash brought with them to Ukraine, and elected a pro-Russia government.
This government is incompetent, and a puppet of the Russian government, no doubt.
However, that is Ukraine's problem. Crimea has always been different than Ukraine.
How do you stop the chaos in Ukraine from infecting Crimea?

If you weren't so easily misled by his trained seals, you'd thank them.
If there is to be any hope for undoing the damage done by the Democrats and Obama, the GOP had better gets act together. Otherwise, this country will never recover and unlike when the British Empire fell from being a super power and America stepped up, there is no other country to fill the USA's shoes.

If only we knew then what we know now about how much of a huge failure Obama would be. Even if Obamacare had launched a year earlier, the election in 2012 would likely have had a different outcome.

If John McCain in 2008 had produced a commercial pointing out the real missteps, the incompetence and pure overall stupidity that we have witnessed from this administration for the last six years, Oprah Winfrey and the biased media would have said “He’s just saying that because Obama is black.”

And no, it’s not because he’s black.

IT’S BECAUSE THE GOP IS STUPID.

The GOP is still more interested hassling their own, than they are in beating Obama.
If Republican National Chairman Reince Priebus and the RNC spent more time worrying about Obama and less time worrying about Sen. Ted Cruz and Lt. Col. Allen West, perhaps they wouldn’t have been bested in 2012.

For all the faux handwringing that the establishment went through about Cruz’ filibuster on Obamacare, he was right, and they were wrong.

It’s time to get stern, to get hardened and to stop playing prevent defense.

It’s time the GOP told the truth: THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST ADMINISTRATION IN THE HISTORY OF THE REPUBLIC, AND IT’S PAST TIME FOR OBAMA AND HIS ENABLERS* TO GO.

Russia market, ruble slump

Russian financial markets have dropped dramatically and the ruble has fallen to its lowest point ever against the dollar and the euro as concerns mount over the consequences of Moscow's intervention in Ukraine for the Russian economy.

The Moscow Exchange fell about 10 percent in the first hour of trading on March 3, although it later recovered slightly.

The ruble, already down nearly 10 percent this year, fell below 50 to the euro for the first time. It was trading below 36.4 to the dollar, also a record.

reality is fun!
The Constitution doesn't guarantee you the right to drive a car, or ride a horse for that matter. Therefore, those are priviledges and not rights.
Now, what is it about "shall not be infringed" do you not understand? It's written in plain and simple English.
What the Connecticutt law does is make criminals of people who are merely exercising their constitutionally guaranteed right.
Further, the 4th Amendment protects them against searches and seizures with a warrant. A warrant would require evidence of a crime. The only crime is not registering a weapon the Constitution guarantees the right to them to possess. The 5th Amendment allows them to not give evidence against themselves.
They have a 5th Amendment right to not register their weapons the Constitution guarantees them the right to possess to protect themselves against a government that will violate the 4th Amendment, as well as a government that will declare people who exercise their constitutionally guaranteed right to possess such weapons as criminals.

"... the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." End of statement. End of discussion. Any further discussion will be with guns.

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS/AP)— California Governor Jerry Brown said he is not sure legalizing pot is a good idea because the country could lose its competitive edge if too many people are getting stoned.

If pot smoking gains more legitimacy in the nation’s most populous state, Brown said he worries it could have negative ripple effects.

“The problem with anything, a certain amount is OK. But there is a tendency to go to extremes,” he said in a wide-ranging interview aired Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”“And all of a sudden, if there’s advertising and legitimacy, how many people can get stoned and still have a great state or a great nation?”

Californians voted to legalize medical marijuana in 1996. But Brown said he is watching closely to see how Colorado and Washington handle their new laws that go a step further by regulating the growth and sale of taxed pot at state-licensed stores.

“We have medical marijuana, which gets very close to what they have in Colorado and Washington. I’d really like those two states to show us how it’s going to work,” he said.“The world’s pretty dangerous, very competitive. I think we need to stay alert, if not 24 hours a day, more than some of the potheads might be able to put together.”

The dollar and yen gained on Monday as investors sought the safety of these currencies as Russia's military intervention in Ukraine's Crimean peninsula fanned geopolitical tensions.

The greenback was further supported by economic data showing an increase in U.S. personal income and spending in January in the midst of one of the worst seasons in recent memory.

Everyone is being misled about Ukraine. This looks like another diversion Obama and the Democrats desperately need. Here are the facts about Crimea and Ukraine.
Crimea was an autonomous republic in the Soviet Union. Russia took Crimea from the Turks in the days of Ivan Grozny, and later Czar Peter established Sevastopol and built the navy yard there, and that has been the headquarters for Russia’s Black Sea Fleet since. Crimea is about 80% Russian. England fought Russia in the Crimean War. Crimea stayed Russian.
Kruschev, being Ukrainian, authorized combining the autonomous republic of Crimea with Ukraine. After the end of the Soviet Union, Russia allowed that combination to remain in effect, giving each a mutual need for the other. Ukraine could have not accepted Crimea, but including Crimea was a needed boost to their economy.
Russia could care less about what happens in Ukraine. But, don't threaten Crimea. When push comes to shove, Crimea is Russia to Russians, and has been for centuries.
Again, our so-called "news" media is enhancing your ignorance. Obama definitely needs a diversion, just like many times previously. Venezuela is burning. 50 thousand people have been killed right across our southern border. And the so-called "news" media is focusing your attention on some issue that we have absolutely no business messing with.
Ukrainians elected an incompetent government. They are paying the price for it. Russia is preventing that chaos from affecting Crimea.
lol! You 've proven to be incurable so far son.

Newsweek poll of 1000 US citizens revealed
29% couldn't name the vice president
43% unable to define bill of rights
40% didn't know America fought Japan & Germany in WWII
73% didn't know Communism was main concern of the cold war
67% didn't know US economy is a capitalistic system
Only 1 in 4 could name more than 1 of the first 5 freedoms the 1st amendment upholds.
These are your typical LIV's who vote democrat, and clearly don't watch media like Fox News, they watch clown comedians like Stewart and Colbert.
Our liberal teachers are failing us
They can however put a condom on a cucumber
This is why it's going to have to get really bad first - when more Americans feel this president's policies and the deception hitting them where it hurts the most - in their pocketbooks and personal freedoms.- before things start getting better.

The direction of this country will be determined this year - one way or the other. Either Obamacare will implode, the instability on the world stage will threaten our national security or the lies and deceptions will finally be exposed. Or all of the above.

However, conservatives with a clear and concise message on Capital Hill have to start articulating that message soon. Simply waiting for Obama and the Democrats to destroy themselves is a strategy that only works up to a certain point before the elections. But they also have to time it cleverly. The progressive liberals will find any way possible to turn the attention back on them and use anything they say as propaganda. It's a tight rope they walk.

Russian markets plunged Monday morning as investors reacted to the prospect of Western-led economic sanctions aimed at punishing president Vladimir Putin for Russian actions in Crimea.

The selloff prompted the Russian central bank to take aggressive action to try to stabilize the markets. As the ruble sank to new lows against the euro and the dollar, the bank raised interest rate by 150 basis points (1.5 percentage points), lifting it to 7 per cent.

Russia’s benchmark stock market index, the Micex, got battered by 13.5 per cent at one point by near panic selling. All of the big names on the index including Gazprom, the state-controlled natural gas company whose pipelines to Western Europe run through Ukraine, fell sharply. Gazprom was down in line with the market.

Yields on Russia’s 10-year sovereign bonds rose as high as 9 per cent, up sharply from Friday’s close of 8.1 per cent, as debt investors apparently took the view that that the Ukraine crisis could escalate even if there have been no clashes between Ukrainian and Russian troops in Crimea, the largely Russian speaking region in Ukraine’s far south which is the home to Russia’s Black Sea naval fleet.

The Russian selloff came as the leaders of the Group of Seven industrialized countries, Canada among them, released a joint statement “condemning the Russian Federations clear violation of sovereignty and territorial integrity in Ukraine.” On Sunday, the G7 countries halted preparatory meetings for the G8 summit scheduled for Sochi, Russia, the host city of the Winter Olympics, in June. Russia is the eighth member of that group.

The strongly worded G7 statement indicates that the Western countries may be on the verge of launching sanctions of some sort against Russia, though no formal plan had been announced by Monday morning. On Sunday, U.S. secretary state John Kerry, who is to travel to the Ukrainian capital Kiev on Tuesday, said the Western countries are “prepared to put sanctions in place, they’re prepared to isolate Russia economically.”
