Still better than Bush with his war-by-lies and economy-crashing.

Maybe the Magic Negro should threaten Putin with "If you want to keep your doctor....."
That might scare him a little.
NO!

He should land on the deck of a U.S. carrier, strut around on the deck in a flight suit and declare "Mission Accomplished". An end to combat operations in the Ukraine.

Then Putin will give up just like the Iraqis did.

This is a false assumption and deliberate distortion on your part. In your mind, I can't love the unborn without hating the poor?
My heart's desire is to help the poor. You have no idea who I am or what makes me tick.
The decent thing is for you to apologize for assuming something that's both hurtful and untrue.
Oh get off it Carol, how many times have you denigrated the poor for being lazy? There's not a compassionate bone in your body.

That Democrat?
The only ones who benefited from Reagan's trickledown economics were the rich you clueless twit. Wages stagnated for the middle class and the poverty level increased.

They learned they should have been more vocal and less complacent when Bush warned them - and the Democrats - about Fannie and Freddie.
They also learned there needs to be minimal government oversight to protect consumers without overregulating. The pendulum has swung to the other extreme under this administration.
They learned that government has to manage itself before managing the people.
They aren't perfect. But at least they have a grip on the right direction. They haven't had their chance at bat since the economic fallout.
Are you still trying to blame Fannie and Freddie for the financial meltdown STUPID?
Fannie and Freddie didn't make those toxic loans that crashed the financial markets, it was UNREGULATED mortgage brokers like Countrywide and Indy Mac who were aided and abetted by the equally unregulated ratings agencies like Standard and Poor's who gave these mortgage backed securities AAA ratings.
Between 2004 and 2006, when subprime lending was exploding, Fannie and Freddie went from holding a high of 48 percent of the subprime loans that were sold into the secondary market to holding about 24 percent, according to data from Inside Mortgage Finance, a specialty publication. Even so, by 2007 only 17 percent of their total portfolio was either subprime or Alt-A loans. Due to regulations, their percentage of these loans is actually better than many banks.
During those same explosive three years, private investment banks -- not Fannie and Freddie -- dominated the mortgage loans that were packaged and sold into the secondary mortgage market. In 2005 and 2006, the private sector securitized almost two thirds of all U.S. mortgages, supplanting Fannie and Freddie.
The fact that the housing bubble occurred contemporaneously in other countries such as Iceland, Ireland, and the United Kingdom also dispels the conservative myth. But go ahead, keep living in that delusional little world of yours.
