What Hannity Didn’t Tell You About His Climate-Change Denying,‘Co-Founder Of Greenpeace’ Guest
Last night, Sean Hannity hosted Patrick Moore, introduced merely as “co-founder of Greenpeace,” who has found “zero evidence that the earth is warming because of human activity.” But for some reason, Hannity failed to mention that Moore’s more recent resumé– like, for the last 20 years – has him as a spokesman for the very industries fingered by real climate change experts.
According to Greenpeace, Moore is not a co-founder. The organization says on its website,“Although Mr. Moore played a significant role in Greenpeace Canada for several years, he did not found Greenpeace.
But wait, Greenpeace has more to say about Moore:
Patrick Moore is a Paid Spokesperson for the Nuclear Industry
In April 2006, the Nuclear Energy Institute, the principal lobby for the nuclear industry, launched the Clean And Safe Energy Coalition and installed former Bush Administration EPA Administrator Christine Todd Whitman and Mr. Moore as its co-chairs. The Clean and Safe Energy Coalition was part of a public relations project spearheaded by the public relations giant Hill & Knowlton as part of its estimated $8 million contract with the nuclear industry.
Patrick Moore Does Not Represent Greenpeace
For more than 20 years, Mr. Moore has been a paid spokesman for a variety of polluting industries, including the timber, mining, chemical and the aquaculture industries. Most of these industries hired Mr. Moore only after becoming the focus of a Greenpeace campaign to improve their environmental performance. Mr. Moore has now worked for polluters for far longer than he ever worked for Greenpeace. Greenpeace opposes the use of nuclear energy because it is a dangerous and expensive distraction from real solutions to climate change.

Patrick Moore frequently portrays himself as a founder or co-founder of Greenpeace, and many news outlets have repeated this characterization. Although Mr. Moore played a significant role in Greenpeace Canada for several years, he did not found Greenpeace. Phil Cotes, Irving Stowe, and Jim Bohlen founded Greenpeace in 1970. Patrick Moore applied for a berth on the Phyllis Cormack in March, 1971 after the organization had already been in existence for a year. A copy of his application letter and Greenpeace's response are available here (PDF).
http://www.greenpeace.org/international/en/ab...
Moore was part of the committee when it changed from Don't Make a Wave Committee to Greenpeace. Greenpeace wasn't Greenpeace in 1970 and 1971 when it was founded. I can see how the means justifies the end people can disown him.

What is so polluting about nuclear energy? It matters more about where you put these reactors, like it is a bad idea to put one on the coast in an earthquake prone country.

Now that Lynne ees dead, dead, dead, KKKraig, he ees free to marry again. After a great deal of study, he chooses a Charolais bull as his bride. When asked at the wedding why he would choose a Charolais bull when there are so many republican cows in the world, he responds, "I don't know, he just makes me laugh."

As for Obama, he may be far from perfect, but only a lightweight socialist at best. Still, if you GOP clowns had not launched a war-by-lies which weakened us to no useful end, Obama might be a distant memory at this point.
But conservative pigs can't resist starting useless wars. To which I'll add, Obama isn't pitch-forking you and strangling your wives with barbed wire.
Wasn't it one of your own who advised you to walk softly and carry a big shtick?

Muddying the water is a proud Liberal tradition and profession.

You bragged about clueless Americans who made a huge mistake voting in a Chicago wannabe mobster. I countered with historical examples of world populations being suckered into following Satan many times throughout history.

So what does the obfuscater extraordinaire do?

Desperate Rush Limbaugh Spreads a Rumor That Hillary Clinton is Too Sick to Run In 2016
Rush Limbaugh got the story from The Daily Caller, who got the story from a 2013 National Enquirer article. The Globe also ran a story about Clinton having cancer, but I would like to think that the Daily Caller’s journalistic standards would compel them to go with the much more highbrow Enquirer.

Someone seems to have forgotten the occasion when Bush landed on a carrier deck to make a self-promoting speech about how the war in Iraq war over.(Which it really wasn't.)
It was so comical. Bush strutting about in a flight suit. The "Man from G.L.A.D."ad of many years ago, in which a white-haired gentleman wearing a jet pack descends from above to hand some housewife a box of Glad sandwich bags had more dignity.
The original mission to topple Saddam and his regime had been accomplished. Perhaps the victory lap was premature and a bit overdone, but no one anticipated the resurgence or that al Qaeda would make Iraq the frontlines. What would have been accomplished had just begun, but we couldn't turn tail and leave at that point.

The legitimate criticism is the Bush administration not anticipating this. The Iraqis waved American flags in the streets and tore down Saddam's statue on their own initiative.

Unfortunately, any chance of Iraq being able to protect itself with U.S. residual troops remaining there to train and help keep the peace was lost when Obama gave up so easily and removed them. After all the sacrifices that were made, a black flag now flies over Baghdad. And you don't think the enemy believes they were victorious? They were. Because Obama surrendered.

No, I don't think he is alive. You just proved my point. A single organization had been splintered into numerous groups that are far more difficult to track by US intelligence. They're certainly not on the run. The funding is also splintered.
