Because it's obvious they are different, why should they be treated as the same?
because we are normal people in this nation, not scared little bigots like you...\

lots of marriages are different in many any ways.

you already lost this issue, SSM will be the law of the land within ten years, most likely closer to 5.

Can you show me any proof Obama had of any spontaneous demonstration? No, you can't. There never was any reason to believe there was any spontaneous demonstration. The spontaneous demonstration lie was invented as a lie... and somehow CNN knew and changed their story line from the truth to the Obama lie before the attack in Benghazi began.
Since it's obvious Obama lied for two weeks, why did Obama lie covering up the Al Qaeda attack on the United States in Benghazi?
Actually, Obama had proof of nothing so why wouldn't an event happen in Benghazi that happened in many Muslim cities around the globe?

There was no lie.

But guess you're right in some way. If the economy truly does go south - and I mean in the Antarctic sense of the word south - it won't matter what's over our heads. Or anyone else's for that matter.

When you're addicted to simple answer for every problem then complex solutions for a complex world doesn't hold up in your fantasy land of "Pleasantville"
For instance the stock market took a hiding today based on what most analysts say the cause is weather. The US big freeze has stopped people from spending and manufacturing is also down due to the same reason. Now in your simple world Climate change does not fit into the equation, its a non issue UNTIL it costs. Then you have this dilemma of making choices to either do something about it or put all your money on one horse(do nothing) and let it ride.
If climate change keeps on course you have NO idea how much this will cost you personally and the country and this is just ONE example of the different times we live in now compared to the idealistic world of the 1950's & 60's

They are not all graveyard waiting homes; you may be among the younger of the residents but the things to consider is lower taxes, lower cost of buying in. I know a man in his 70's who sold his big house and bought 6 units, he lives in one and rents the others and spends his time travelling rather than maintaining a house that he thought his children and grandchildren would visit; they didn't so he sold it and is free. Plus, there are no children there and it's quiet.

So, why would you want anyone to think they are the same?
Please state the aspect in the laws about marriage where anything depends upon the presence of both a penis & a vagina.

Seems to me the laws pertain to property, inheritance, taxes, & custody if children are involved.

In laws about children, where does it distinguish between the offspring born to the couple, born to the female with donor sperm, or adopted?

The company I work for, for instance, the lowest salary will be about twice the average annual wage in the country. The contracting companies we hire are the same.
There were laws in existence that forced companies to provide health insurance. The only thing that changed is ObamaKare forces everyone to give their money to the insurance companies, and the only people paying for health care for everyone are the same people who always paid for their own health care.
Let's fix health care and make it affordable. Repeal ObamaKare and the cost will go back to what it was before ObamaKare caused the premiums and deductibles to go through the roof.
You work in a subsidized industry.

What law forced companies to offer health insurance.

Since 50% of US companies offer health benefits, I guess we best be arresting a big pile of CEOs.

So, the janitor that cleans your building & the receptionist make over a hundred k.

Coca-Cola's Multicultural Super Bowl Ad Really Angered Conservatives
http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/coca-co...
so when did this country become the White country club?
They are making a mountain out of a mole hill. It's a commercial for Pete's sake. Coca-Cola is an international company and the Super Bowl was broadcast to about 225 countries around the world. Ad companies always push the boundaries. Doesn't mean they advocate having our national anthem changed to accommodate many different foreign languages.

Should our national anthem be sung in many different languages? No. It really doesn't work. National anthems are written in the most common language of the land...whether or not it is categorized as an "official" language. They don't translate well into other languages. But, IT WAS AN AD!! And, I might add, a very beautiful one which got their message across... we are a country comprised of people from many different cultures. People need to stop taking things so seriously.

Thoughts and facts:

When I go to another country and attend an event where their national anthem is being sung with audience participation...it is sung in THEIR language. You don't try and make it your own by singing it in English. You don't go to Japan, India or France and sing their anthems in English.

In Switzerland's, to address their several different "official" languages, their national anthem has different lyrics for each of the country's four official languages: French, German, Italian, and Romansh.

The first verse of New Zealand's national anthem is in Māori and the second is in English. "The tune is the same but the lyrics have different meanings."

Five of the eleven "official languages" of South Africa are used in the same national anthem. Each language comprises a stanza.

why should health care be tied to employment at all? that is where Obamacare failed miserably...in not once and for all divorcing those two.

there is no rational reason for the health care user for it to be tied to their employer...none at all. it makes it much better for the insurance companies,a s people don't change jobs that often so it gives them a more stable base than say the auto insurance industry...but it certainly gives no benefit to the health care insurance user...and the ACA just cemented that horrific bond...

epic fail....

Dramatic Increase in Gaza Terror in January 2014
Published on: January 31, 2014

Since the beginning of 2014, over 28 rockets were launched from Gaza at Israel by Gaza terrorists.

Fourteen of which landed in southern Israel, and five were intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system, as they were approaching Ashkelon built up areas.

In retaliation to these rocket attacks, IAF aircraft targeted numerous terror sites across the Gaza strip. In addition, at the beginning of January 2014, IAF aircrafts targeted a terror squad during final preparations to launch rockets at southern Israel.

In most recent successful operations, the IDF targeted two known Gaza terrorists: Ahmed Sa’ad (Palestinian Islamic Jihad), and Ahmed Za’anin (Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine). Both were extensively involved in launching rockets into Israel as well as other attacks against IDF forces.

Over the past month three improvised explosive devices (IED) were concealed adjacent to the Gaza security fence and detonated against IDF soldiers in order to prevent activities necessary to safeguard nearby Israeli communities. Despite the IEDs potential hazardousness, their detonation caused no injuries.
