Clinton came clean after his presidency in an interview admitting he lied just because he could and saying "lying just because you can is one of the most reprehensible things anyone can do." That's all he needed to say. In my eyes, he had redeemed himself..
He's also very close to the Bush's. GHW is like his father figure, but they are all very close. That makes him a better and/or changed person in my eyes too.
Don't think he likes Obama or his policies too much either. He's been rather outspoken on a few occasions so that makes him a very reasonable Democrat. It's my opinion he's also a closet Republican now.

One fact checker source pointed out that discrepancy as well. It's like this president is totally removed even from his own rhetoric. That's pretty bad.

I thought Brit Hume described the SOTU the best. Hume rarely shows any emotion whatsoever and is quite fair in his calm and monotone voice when analyzing this president's administration in the past. But he couldn't stop snickering after the SOTU saying this president was giving a speech about his own presidency.

Hume was apparently amused because the implication was Obama didn't even know he was doing that.

Problem for you is Obama has had five - count 'em...five - years to turn that around. Since income inequality has only gotten worse under his administration and this is the soapbox issue for the Democratic Party during this election year, shouldn't he be explaining why it's gotten wider under his policies instead of in the process of being turned around by now?
Three years ago, blaming only Bush and pretending Democrats were innocent as lambs in creating the environment for the economic crisis might have washed.
But he can't piously preach that something is wrong and act like it's societies or the free market's fault and self-righteously claim he's going to do something about it when he's the reason why it's gotten worse and he hasn't done a thing about it.
Be honest. If the economy had crashed in the last year of Clinton's presidency and we were still in this same stagnant and slow as snails recovery after five years under a Bush administration - and a conservative university came out with a report that Bush's policies after five years into his presidency was only widening an income inequality gap while he was blaming Clinton and the Democrats for his predicament, you wouldn't give him a pass.
No one would. So why are liberals the only ones who refuse to see what everyone else sees? Loyalty is one thing when you're standing behind a president whose convictions determine his decisions and not politics.. But this president doesn't seem to have any convictions - just rhetoric with no actions - and he's only about politics. So there's nothing to stand behind.
yet you still cannot show one teensy iota of fact as to why it was Obama's fault the gap continued or widened, as you claimed obama by himself increased.

and yet here you are again spewing this proven lie...

why do you have to lie so much?

So what's funny?

I'm beginning to wonder if you're insulated or isolated in some way from the outside world. Sure hope not. But it would explain a lot.

6 Reasons Conservative Ron Unz Wants to Raise the Minimum Wage to $12 An Hour

The California Republican is sponsoring a 2014 ballot measure for a $12 statewide minimum wage—more than Obama has proposed.

The whole thing is it’s not really a traditional ideological issue. What you have right now is a system of massive welfare spending, over $250 billion a year in social welfare programs going to the working poor. In other words, people have jobs but they cannot survive on their paychecks. And those payments really amount to subsidies to low-wage employers. It’s a classic case of where businesses manage to privatize the benefits of their workers—they get the work—and socialize the costs. They’ve shifted the costs over to taxpayer and the government. And that is not something that free market economists like. It’s a classic problem inany kind of economic system.

So when you’re talking about a much higher minimum wage, which would automatically produce huge cuts in government social welfare spending, that’s the sort of thing that conservatives begin to like.

3. A two-income family would earn $50,000 a year.

4. Spending on welfare could fall by $40 billion.

Walmart, America’s largest low-wage employer, could cover a $12 minimum wage by a one-time price increase of 1.1 percent. The average Walmart shopper would pay an extra $12.50 per year. McDonald's and fast-food places would probabnly have to raise their prices by 8 or 9 percent, something like that. Agricultural products that are American-grown would go up by less than 2 percent on the grocery shelves. And those sorts of price increases are so small that they would be almost unnoticed in most cases by the consumer.

What is your point?

Casino Revenues fell when the recession hit bottoming out in 2009. Since they have been growing and are almost back to they were in early 2007 under the George W Bush administration.

So if you & your dumbf*ck buddy are arguing Obama's economy made people gamble then you are liars because statistics show the revenue is not more than under Bush.

But hey, the idea your dumbf*k buddy Galt used the example of a closed steel mill turned casino definitely meant he was blaming that change on Obama.

But hey. one thing I love about you right whiners, you make stupid, inaccurate uninformed posts & then run from them when you are proven wrong.
