MEDIA HYPOCRITES
Still Carrying Water for The One-- who in 2008 promised "The journey will be difficult. The road will be long. I face this challenge with profound humility, and knowledge of my own limitations. But I also face it with limitless faith in the capacity of the American people. Because if we are willing to work for it, and fight for it, and believe in it, then I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on Earth. This was the moment - this was the time - when we came together to remake this great nation so that it may always reflect our very best selves, and our highest ideals."

What a joke.

Meanwhile, millions have lost or have more expensive insurance, the mideast is worse then ever, he's done nothing but contort into the downward dog position when dealing with Russia, Syria, Egypt and Iran. From what alternate universe does one have to hail from to acribe anything close to success to this administration, when speaking of foreign policy? While at home, millions have give up ever getting a job.

But, how many media stars have launched crusading reports packed with outrage over Obama's obvious failures? The major media might notice an occasional radical protester, but their heart is always clearly with the president's "surprising use of power" and their only disappointment has been that Tea Party protests were peaceful and orderly.

Instead of channeling Cindy Sheehan types, The New York Times worried on its front page this week that a quick departure from Afghanistan could cause a loss of bases for drone strikes.

On the domestic front, its "Political Memo" was headlined, "For Obama, Investing In Brighter Futures Remains a Tough Sell." That's their ludicrous terminology for more socialist "investment" in infrastructure and education bureaucrats (and perhaps presidentially dictated minimum wage hikes)-- "investing in brighter futures."

It's gotten so desperate to generate happy news on Obama's behalf that when Sen. Ted Cruz went on CBS's "Face the Nation" on Sunday to say, "Let me tell you something that is deeply concerning, the abuse of power from this administration," CBS sliced that criticism out of its program.

Putting the words "abuse of power" anywhere near Team Obama in a sentence is an invitation to censorship by our allegedly anti-autocracy "news" media who cannot recognize that we now have Emporer ZERO in the White House who golfs as the world burns.

Let's start calling the main stream media by its' correct name ... The Ministry of Propaganda.

The bias infected journalism over 50 years ago, and like cancer, has metastasized to its' present state where nothing can be believed!

There are no perfect systems that protect everyone from themselves and their poor choices. There will always be a percentage of people who make choices that prevent them from having the living standard of everyone else who didn't make those choices. Giving those who make poor choices more money will increase the number of people making poor choices at the expense of denying the people who make good choices the rewards of their sacrifice and effort.
I would have loved to go to all the parties and taken the creampuff classes the liberal arts majors took. But, if I made those choices, I'd be as valuable in the economy as they are, and I wouldn't be earning the salary I have today, and I would not have the lifestyle I have.
That would have been the result of voluntary choices I made. I chose to study engineering and science. Today I have a higher living standard than those who chose to take creampuff courses and party all the time.

There are no perfect systems. Any attempt to create a perfect system will bankrupt any contry. There will always be a percentage of the people who make poor choices. Subsidizing poor choices only increases the percentage of people making poor choices.
What those people need is a community organizer that will lead them away from the poor choices they make toward becoming a benefit to themselves and the economy, and to become self-reliant.
Offhand, I can't think of anyone who qualifies as this type of leader.

CNN's instant polling among Americans who watched Tuesday's State of the Union found an overwhelming majority reacting positively to President Barack Obama's address, as it has four times previously during his presidency.

The network's poll found that 76 percent of Americans who watched the speech viewed it somewhat or very positively, in line with reactions to his previous speeches, although the percentage with "very positive" views declined. Last year, 77 percent of watchers reported a positive view of the speech to CNN, and slightly higher numbers approved of Obama's speeches in three previous years.

He said on Tuesday he would issue an executive order raising the minimum wage for federal employees.
"If you work hard, you should be able to pay your rent, buy your groceries, look after your kids," Mr Obama told Costco employees on Wednesday.
Costco workers are said to earn at least $11.50 an hour, far above the current national minimum wage Mr Obama has asked a gridlocked Congress to increase.
'Expand opportunity'
On Thursday, Mr Obama plans to visit a General Electric facility in Waukesha, Wisconsin, and speak at a high school in Nashville, Tennessee, to promote measures outlined in his national address.
Don't be discouraged, my boy. Detox takes time.

A local TV station interviewed local business owners about the Magic Negro's embarrassingly stupid Minimum Wage remarks. They didn't interview GM, DOW or Meijers. Nope. They interviewed Mom & Pop type business owners and they ALL shook their heads in disgust saying that the Boy Messiah doesn't know what he's talking about.

But the Liberal MSM will never do these sorts of interviews. Instead, they'll talk to Magic Negro campaign contributors who just happen to be 'business owners', too.

If any business owner(s) decides that a higher wage inside of their company is good for business then that's fine. It's the right thing to do. But government has no business(!) telling a business owner what wages to pay. That is Statism, Socialism and evil - everything the Magic Negro stands for.

Rats abandon sinking ship....

President Barack Obama was barely out of the Capitol after delivering his State of the Union address Tuesday before members of his own party began distancing themselves from the president.

In an interview with CNN after the speech, Alaska Sen. Mark Begich, one of the most vulnerable Democrats up for reelection this year, took aim at Obama’s focus on using executive actions to go around Congress.”I’ll be anxious to see what these executive orders are,” he said.“But if they go too far you’ll clearly hear push back from me. There’s no question about it.”

Begich also criticized Obama on energy, objecting to his calls to end oil and gas tax incentives and opposition to opening up more of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to drilling. He added that he has no interest in campaigning with Obama, but is open to showing Obama why his policies are wrong.

“When I ran and won was the same year he ran for his first election for the presidency, he lost Alaska by 22 points,” Begich said.“I still won my election. If he wants to come up, I’m not really interested in campaigning. What I’d like him to do is see why his policies are wrong on ANWR for example. He opposes oil and gas development. I’d like to show him why it’s the right move to move that forward to create jobs in oil and gas.”

Arkansas Sen. Mark Pryor said in a statement that he was disappointed with Obama for not striking a bipartisan tone.

“Overall, I’m disappointed with the President’s State of the Union address because he was heavy on rhetoric, but light on specifics about how we can move our country forward,” he said.“…I’ve always said that I’ll work with the President when I think he’s right, but oppose him when I think he’s wrong. That’s why I’ve opposed his policies on gun control, the Keystone Pipeline, military action in Syria, regulatory overreach on our farms—to name a few—and why I’ll continue to oppose his agenda when it’s bad for Arkansas and our country.”

Even before Obama’s speech, Louisiana Sen. Mary Landrieu blasted the White House’s opposition to delaying an increase in flood insurance premiums.

Colorado Sen. Mark Udall, in a separate interview with CNN after Obama’s remarks, repeatedly refused to say whether he would campaign with the president this year.“We’ll see what the president’s schedule is,” he said.“We’ll see what my schedule is. But Coloradans are going to reelect me based on my record, not on the president’s record.”

Obama’s post-speech roadshow conspicuously excludes any state where vulnerable Democratic incumbents are up for reelection. And in Wisconsin, where Democrat Mary Burke is trying to unseat Gov. Scott Walker this fall, the candidate is avoiding Obama’s scheduled appearance on Thursday. Earlier this month, North Carolina Sen. Kay Hagan avoided an appearance with Obama in her home state.

The crew on "Morning Joe" once again turned to Jon Meacham on Thursday to provide an historical context for the show's steady drumbeat of conventional wisdom, and the Pulitzer Prize-winning author sounded pretty skeptical of President Obama's pledge to take more executive actions.

"We make fun of the executive orders and that is in fact something that — you know, you never really heard Lincoln and FDR say,'I'm going to rebuild America on an executive order," Meacham said. "You know, it's not something that resonates off the tongue."

Meacham's take was somewhat baffling. Franklin Delano Roosevelt issued more executive orders than any president, including some that helped usher in New Deal programs. And Abraham Lincoln, of course, issued a pretty famous executive order known as the Emancipation Proclamation.
