Putin Warns Gays Against Flamboyant Displays at Olympics
Posted by Andy Borowitz

SOCHI (The Borowitz Report)—Russian President Vladimir Putin said today that gay spectators should feel welcome at the upcoming Winter Olympics but warned them against “any flamboyant displays that draw unnecessary attention to themselves.”

“The Olympics have always been, and should always be, about the athletes,” President Putin said.“Any attempt by homosexuals to flaunt their bodies in a way that is distracting, provocative, or arousing will be frowned upon.”

Specifically, gay spectators should remain fully clothed at all times, and resist the temptation to unveil their chiseled biceps or shredded abdominals,” he said.

“Furthermore,” he added,“under no circumstances should gays oil, grease, or otherwise lubricate their torsos in an effort to highlight their glistening, ripped pectorals.”

He closed his remarks with one final warning for gay spectators in Sochi:“Remember, this is the Olympics. It is strictly forbidden for you to expose your thighs, buttocks, or especially your nipples, erect from the frigid Russian air.”

But teachers are now beginning to resist joining a union and are meeting equal resistance and, in some cases, threats. Welcome to the new and improved "Fourth" Reich.
Found a home. VA lending. Nice home. Still waiting for counteroffer. May back out if multiple offers. Thanks for asking.

You were never in a Teachers Union, because you were never a Teacher.
So where do you get off saying what Teachers Unions believe in??
You're a low wage worker, that's all you've ever been. That''s why you began collecting Socialist Security at age 62. Because you have no value in the labor marketplace.
You're a right wing nitwit, with opinions on everything, but knowledge of nothing.
But you are very good at hatred. You hate anyone who is better off than you, which is 85% of Americans.
How's the doublewide hunt going?? Still can't get approved for a loan??
So you would suggest people don't take back the money that this country stole from them at birth(i.e social security)?

Literally every single comment that leftists make about social security proves you are all nothing but uneducated, inbred idiots that don't understand that social security is literally a legally bound IOU from the government in which we are entitled to regardless of whether we like socialism or not.

Obama tolerates what someone with real business experience would not, because he is NOT AN EXECUTIVE. He is a community “organizer.”
The list of scandals and blunders in the Obama administration is long, but the roster of people who have been fired by President Obama for screwing up is strikingly short.

Critics see a pattern in Mr. Obama’s management style of avoiding punishment. The president’s casual approach can be summed up in an observation of former Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates, one that Mr. Obama sometimes likes to quote:“One thing I can guarantee you is that at this moment, somewhere, somehow, somebody in the federal government is screwing up.”
Even during the IRS scandal this year, in which the agency acknowledged targeting tea party groups for extra scrutiny, the president’s executive actions didn’t amount to much housecleaning. Mr. Obama ordered Treasury Secretary Jack Lew to obtain the resignation of acting IRS Commissioner Steven Miller, who left May 15. Mr. Miller’s last day in the post would have been June 8, and most of the problems occurred before he took the helm. Before resigning, Mr. Miller intended to return to his job as a deputy commissioner at the agency.
Lois G. Lerner resigned as head of the IRS exempt-organizations division in September, four months after the scandal broke.
After the Benghazi affair, in which Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed during a terrorist attack in Libya, nobody was held accountable. As secretary of state, Hillary Rodham ("At this point, what difference does it make?") Clinton placed four State Department officials on administrative leave, but they were later allowed to return to their jobs. None of them was responsible for making policy.
The president convened an accountability review board, which found systemic flaws but didn’t call for any punishment over security failures.
In the Fast and Furious scandal, Mr. Obama resisted calls for the resignation of Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. Four lower-level Justice officials resigned over the botched gun-walking operation, and several others reportedly were reassigned.'
ZERO is as ZERO does.
Talk about "twist and spin"!!! As hard as Issa tried, he could not find anything that supported the accusations made against the Obama administration in regards to the IRS or Fast and Furious "scandals". The events at Benghazi happened because one man, Chris Stevens, refused offers to sustain a team of security officers at the consulate. I would say he paid the ultimate price.

And, as for your claim that "four lower-level Justice officials resigned over the botched gun-walking operation" is laughable. Of course they were "low level" employees. Both Operation Wide Receiver and Fast and Furious had been run by Bill Newell, the head of ATF’s Phoenix office....low level. The entire problem with the Issa investigation was his refusal to trace gun walking back to Bush's Operation Wide Receiver.

However, you are wrong that only those at the "low level" were asked to resign. Jason Weinstein, chief of the Justice Department’s criminal division, also resigned.

Jason Weinsein resigned because he admitted to signing off on "summary memos" regarding Fast and Furious without reading the supporting affidavits. "To do so would have slowed approval of time-sensitive wiretaps to a standstill and become his full-time job, Weinstein said. Had he done so in this case, he would have read about specific numbers of U.S.-purchased firearms that were being recovered in Mexico."

"One of the lawyers he supervised was drafting indictments against traffickers in Operation Wide Receiver — the Bush-era case in which Weinstein had detected guns “walking.” An indictment from the Fast and Furious case was also in the works."
