Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is heading to Florida next month, ramping up expectations she is working toward a 2016 campaign.

The University of Miami announced in a news release last week that Clinton will deliver remarks at the school on Feb. 26 for a special event for the campus and invited guests.

Was just thinking the same thing tonight. Don't think MLK's "dream" was a welfare state. Or black people calling white people racists who judge a man by the content of his character - or his radical progressive ideology. MLK's "dream" has turned into a nightmare. That still eludes most blacks, many of whom see Democrats as their caretakers in exchange for their votes. Don't remember MLK saying anything like that in his speech.

Excerpt from that speech:

"But there is something that I must say to my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice. In the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.

"We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force. The marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the Negro community must not lead us to a distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny. They have come to realize that their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom. We cannot walk alone."
~ Martin Luther King, Jr.

Someone should have read this part to Rev. Wright when he was preaching to Barack Obama that all white people are responsible for the ills in the black community that was first inflicted on them by the sins of white southern democrats over a century ago.

I do believe MLK would have been preaching forgiveness instead, encouraging the striving for dignity by rising above the fray of victimization and leaving the pettiness and hatred in the past where it belongs.

If Rev. Wright had truly believed the words of MLK - "we cannot walk alone" - we might have a different and more enlightened president today who isn't still talking about his skin color as an excuse for his own failures rather than the country moving ahead together.

And that's all I have to say about that.

How she believe Panetta and Dempsey could have "briefed the president" when they didn't even know what happened is beyond me.
Back in February, McCain pulled out every trick in the book to blame things on Hillary and failed miserably. Yet, here we are back to the same talking points a year later. It just seems republicans are incapable of rational thought.
In February, before the Senate Armed Services Committee, "Panetta was firm throughout his testimony that there were no "undue delays" in decision making and there was no denial of support from Washington or from the military combatant commanders when the attack happened."

Testimony by Gen. Carter Ham, head of AFRICOM at the time of attack, before the House Committee on Armed Services in June 2013 said that Defense officials immediately deemed the incident an attack.

Ham said at the 2013 hearing that he was alerted to the incident 15 minutes after it erupted at 9:42 p.m. Libya Time (3:42 p.m. EST) on Sep. 11, 2012.

"When we saw a rocket-propelled grenade attack, what appeared to be pretty well aimed small arms fire — again, this is all coming second and third hand through unclassified, you know, commercial cellphones for the most part initially. To me, it started to become clear pretty quickly that this was certainly a terrorist attack and not just not something sporadic," he stated.

According to the timeline, at 10:32 p.m. Libya Time, Ham briefed then Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, before they traveled to the White House for a pre-scheduled meeting with Obama, during which they briefed Obama on the situation.

Panetta said of his early assessment of the situation on the ground in Benghazi, "There was no question in my mind that this was a terrorist attack."

You really can't connect these dots?

Panetta, Dempsey and officials at the Defense Department all testified they knew it was a terrorist attack immediately after it began and briefed the president minutes later - long before the second strike.

They prefer to make people forget that the biggest change to happen to America since the Civil War was led by a black Christian.

Hillary move over, Wendy’s coming: Remember the heroine of Planned Parenthood, Wendy Davis? Of the pink tennis-shoed, Texas filibustered, right to kill late-term babies fame?
We now know that wannabe Texas governor Wendy Davis essentially MADE UP her life story about being a single mom and putting herself through Harvard.

Breitbart reported Wendy’s skewed “Facts.”

So let’s take a look-see:
She wasn’t a single parent; she was married, and to husband #2
It was Wendy’s second husband who paid her way through law school, not Wendy
After her husband made the last payment, she divorced him
Oh, and Wendy cheated on the man who did all this
When asked about the “inconsistencies” between her publicized hard luck story and the REAL bio, Wendy commented:

“My language should be tighter,” she said, admitting her campaign biography has been less than truthful.

Let’s face it…Liberals rely on fake narratives, because their real accomplishments suck.

The Left is touting Hillary “Done Nothing” Clinton for president, and she has accomplished nothing except getting ahead on doing nothing. For Liberals, that’s the skill.

But Hillary may have competition. Because Wendy Davis may not be a good governor of Texas, but she would be a FANTASTIC LYING LECHEROUS LIBERAL PRESIDENT.

I’m actually shocked that Obama didn’t go the “single dad” route and gin up some fake kids and do the same. But whatever works. Come to think of it…his “my dad was a goat herder” lie worked just as well.

Yes Hillary seems out of the race as in what may be the most serious allegation ever made against the former Secretary of State, Fox News Channel reported today that Hillary Clinton was involved in the conspiracy to murder President Abraham Lincoln.
The latest charge against Mrs. Clinton was reported by Fox host Sean Hannity, who said that the evidence of her role in the Lincoln assassination came mainly in the form of e-mails.
According to Mr. Hannity,“If it’s true that Hillary Clinton killed Lincoln, this could have a major impact on her chances in 2016.”
The accusation against Mrs. Clinton drew a strong response from Sen. Lindsey Graham (R.—S. Carolina):“There’s been a concerted effort by Hillary Clinton to cover up her role in President Lincoln’s murder. She has said nothing about it. This is bigger than Watergate, the Cuban missile crisis, and the Second World War put together.”
Responding to the allegation, Mrs. Clinton issued a terse statement indicating that she could not have participated in Lincoln’s assassination because she was born in 1947.
“That’s what she wants us to believe,” Sen. Graham said.
She was responsible for providing the requested security which first began months in advance of the attack or removing the ambassador and those other Americans at the embassy knowing of repeated warnings of an escalating attack.

She should have taken full responsibility for not having her finger on the pulse of the dangers that were clearly present and taking the appropriate actions so it would have been "prevented" as was stated by the Senate Intelligence report - and those Americans would still be alive today.

Instead she threw up her hands in frustration and declared it didn't make any difference.

Spin it anyway you want.

You are sooooo wrong. All you have to do is look around you to see the vast advances made by blacks since Obama's election. It is most noticeable in the entertainment community where television game shows now feature blacks as hosts and prime time shows have placed blacks in positions of authority.
There is no way poverty, income inequality or high unemployment can be cured in four or eight years. The fact that we may not see the effects of the Obama administration on black illegitimacy rates or poverty levels for many years to come does not mean that we haven't taken positive steps toward ending "black racism".
"entertainment community", " television game shows", "blacks as hosts" and prime time shows have placed blacks in positions of authority?

One might actually start to think his goal is promoting income inequality. I mean, no one has created more divisiveness among the races and classes than Barack Obama while wining and dining with the elite upper class and Hollywood swells. And no one has increased unemployment - especially among minorities - forcing more people onto welfare than Barack Obama while burdening small businesses with an explosion of government regulations.

A house divided cannot stand. Obama knows this too.

One has to ask why, then, does he deliberately divide rather than unite and deprive rather than lift up?
