<quoted text>And the MSM was complacent and complicit in promoting the lie because to admit it was a deliberate attack would take away from pre-election Obama's boast that he had put alqaeda out of commission.
The evidence is in front of all as shown by how the MSM is handling the situation with Chris Christie.
Does anyone who thinks that a traffic jam at the George Washington Bridge should attract a governor's attention have any idea how many traffic jams there are on the various highways leading into Manhattan?
Any governor who devoted his time to looking into traffic jams between New Jersey and New York would have very little time left for doing anything else.
If anything good comes out of this shabby episode of political vindictiveness by Governor Christie's staffers, it showed what a skewed sense of perspective most of the media have on what kinds of issues are important.
It is not that the media consider traffic jams more important than human lives. But the fact that Christie is the current frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination in 2016 -- and is ahead of Hillary Clinton in the polls -- makes him a target for a partisan media.
Media coverage of the traffic jam in New Jersey was several times as extensive as any -- or all -- of these far more consequential scandals in Washington. Moreover, many of these media reactions simply assumed that Governor Christie must have known about the traffic jam on the George Washington Bridge.
But unlike Barack Obama, Christie did not duck the media or sidestep questions. Nor did he resort to euphemisms or cry out, like Hillary Clinton, "What difference, at this point, does it make?"
As an EXECUTIVE & A LEADER--two things Dear Leader Obama clearly is NOT--Chris Christie met the questions head on and gave unequivocal answers -- the kind of answers that could, and should, destroy his political future if they are not true.
More important, Governor Christie quickly fired the people he held responsible for deliberately creating a traffic jam on the George Washington Bridge. Contrast that with the many scandals in Washington for which President Obama has not fired anyone.
While the creation of a traffic jam in a small New Jersey town shows the calloused ugliness too often found among political operators puffed up with their own power, this cannot compare with the threat to freedom when the Internal Revenue Service targets the administration's political opponents during an election year.
Nor can a traffic jam compare with the Department of Justice's gun-running operation that led to the death of an American Border Patrol agent in the southwest or the State Department's actions and inactions that led to the deaths of four American officials killed by terrorists in Benghazi.
yet these supposed scandals you keep bringing up day after day have been proven to not be scandals at all, just lies you are parroting...

New Scandal, Same Old Christie

It’s not the first time a top official has been fired for lying to the governor.

.... Contrary to his carefully cultivated reputation as a hard-charging, no-nonsense prosecutor — the scourge of political corruption — the governor seems downright passive when it comes to his own circle. He takes no investigative initiative. He reacts as embarrassing developments occur and tweaks his story accordingly. He is caught flatfooted and unprepared when damning disclosures, like this week’s e-mails involving his close aides, inevitably emerge.

When he finally takes action, moreover, it turns out to be the only conceivable action any ambitious politician would take under the circumstances. His fans are applauding his decisiveness, but what ambitious politician who had any hope of running for president would not have fired Bridget Kelly once those e-mails hit the news? The Obama comparison doesn’t cut it: Obama is already president and, with the press carrying his water, he doesn’t have to fire anyone — not Sebelius, not Holder, not Rice, no one. Christie doesn’t have that luxury.....

A growing paper trail continues to implicate New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) with regards to the September 2013 lane closures on the George Washington Bridge, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow said on Tuesday.
“The governor has absolutely and blatantly not told the truth about what was going on in his office,” Maddow said.

There is zero doubt the aide told Christie that she caused the bridge to be closed. The way she did it was probably by winking/smiling while she delivered the news about the traffic jam. We won't know for sure how she did it until DBWriter investigates this governmental abuse of power, something he detests. He appears to be waiting until he hears from the voices in his head.

<quoted text>By the numbers:
In 40 states welfare pays more than an $8.00 an hour job. In 17 states the welfare package is more generous than a $10.00 an hour job.
In Hawaii, Alaska, Massachusetts, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, New York, and Rhode Island welfare pays more than a $12.00 an hour job--or two and a half times the minimum wage.
In nine states welfare pays more than the average first-year salary for a teacher. In 29 states it pays more than the average starting salary for a secretary. And in the six most generous states it pays more than the entry-level salary for a computer programmer.
Welfare benefits are especially generous in large cities. Welfare provides the equivalent of an hourly pretax wage of $14.75 in New York City,$12.45 in Philadelphia,$11.35 in Baltimore, and $10.90 in Detroit.
So the incentive is NOT to work. Just sit back and collect the free money!
BTW, minimum wage was NEVER intended to support a family, buy a house. It is intended to help college students, extra cash, motivate folks to obtain skills that do pay good. you folks and your ignorance about minimum wage. A pay for unskilled monkey labor.
This is why you people are morons.
Your source is a study done by the CATO ( Republican, We hate poor people) Institute.
They added the value of the benefits from every federal program available to poor families with children. They translated this to an hourly amount & then added to it because these were tax free to get the hourly rates you stated for those cities.
Here is why they are in effect liars, & they deliberately used false assumptions to dupe dumbasses like you & the rest of you right whining "sissies".
1) If a person receiving cash from TANF gets a job paying minimum wage, they might lose that TANF money. However. they would likely still be eligible for a wide range of assistance such as food stamps, housing assistance, day care help, etc.
So,they would actually increase their total cash & benefits. There would be an incentvie to work.
CATO assumed once they got that job, they would lose all benefits.
This is why CATO deliberately misled you people.
2) Families would need a lot more income to reach the stage where they pay income tax. Another CATO ruse to dupe the mentally deficient.
We have two options here:
1) CATO Institute employs people who are really stupid
2)_ CATO deliberately put out this out to dupe people like you.
