....not Al Gore....

"...Gieavar (sic) found the measurement of the global average temperature rise of 0.8 degrees over 150 years remarkably unlikely to be accurate, because of the difficulties with precision for such measurements—and small enough not to matter in any case:“What does it mean that the temperature has gone up 0.8 degrees? Probably nothing.” He disagreed that carbon dioxide was involved and showed several charts that asserted, among other things, that climate had even cooled.“I pick and choose when I give this talk just the way the previous speaker picked and chose when he gave his talk,” he added. He finished with a pronouncement:“Is climate change pseudoscience? If I’m going to answer the question, the answer is: absolutely.”

I give you a hard time, but I know you're a good person.
Misguided, but good.
I only bring up the cigarettes because of your condescending habit of talking down about how blacks need to smarten up and get your version of 'common sense'.
But if you quit, I will compliment you furiously!!
But it's not just blacks who need to smarten up and get mine or anyone's version of common sense. It's all liberals who've become dumbed down.

Even so, Happy New Year to you too. Tomorrow is hopefully the beginning of the end of Obamacare and just the beginning of common sense.

That's what I'm celebrating anyway.

Progressives: Because we are in charge, we are right...

This is incredible...

"As usual, the core arguments of believers comes down to argument from authority. Can they attack the credentials of the dissenters? The skeptics, the real scientists, talk about evidence."

I have a neighbor couple who are gay women. They have two children, boy and girl.
One of them had the babies, I don't know who the paternity side was.
I don't know even if they're married, but it is legal in CT.
The kids seem happy and well adjusted, the boy is a bit of a genius in math. At 10, he's taking advanced trig from a Yale internet link.
I've seen lots of broken 'traditional families'.
I thnk humans are capable of far more than traditional roles.
I know that comes hard to some.

Some things shouldn't change. Marriage and the definition of the family unit as being the foundation of any society is one of them. A mother and a father. Not one woman pretending to be a father or one man pretending to be a mother.

My brother-in-law is gay too. Has had the same partner for almost 20 years. Hard worker and has a good job in San Francisco.

I love him dearly and think a great deal of his partner. But I could never address them as man and wife. And hope I never have to.

You have changed your tune a bit have you not? You have quit knocking the republican house that has sent 30 plus bills to the senate the hairless reed is sitting on? I have to not you have no comments on the do nothing senate for refusing to allow a vote. Why will hairless not allow any votes? Is he afraid some of the bills might pass and force the boy president nobama to veto them? You must have evidence that the above is not true. Don't you?

Happy New Year
The link below has a list of all active legislation being addressed by Senate as of December 23rd. Which 30 do you think the Senate is "sitting on"? The Abortion ban, 20 weeks? Assault Weapons? Background Checks for fire arms? Healthcare overhaul? Keystone XL Pipeline? Pick 30 and we can discuss them. After that, perhaps we should discuss all the bills sent by the Senate that the House is "sitting on".

That's basically absurd.
Today's science is more than able to measure changes year to year.
The overall changes take long periods to show up, but the incremental changes are very measurable, like the Carbon Dioxide level rise.
"" Atmospheric carbon dioxide reaches 400 parts per million concentration milestone""
""For the first time in human history, the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has reached 400 parts per million (ppm). The arrival at this threshold represents a powerful symbol of the growing human influence on the Earth’s climate.
Manmade emissions of carbon dioxide have increased the atmospheric concentration of CO2 from around 270 to 280 ppm in the late 1700s to today’s record high level – a 43 percent increase. Measurements of CO2 trapped in air bubbles from ice cores in Antarctica indicate today’s levels are unsurpassed in at least 800,000 years.""
----------
Cut through the noise from the right.
Things are bad and deteriorating fast.
These asshats will be dead soon, they don't care about the future.
That's obvious from their fear of healthcare for all.
Perhaps I didn't express myself as well as I should have. All I meant was that you don't base global warming on the measurements from a single year. It is the compilation of measurements over many years that are proof of global warming.

The liberals don't get it.

They don't understand normal.

They don't understand the pain a child goes through having a mommy and another mommy with no Dad like a normal life.

The NAZI radical left just wants votes. They really do not care about anything else. If they can divide us, they do,

The left criticizes Fox News when they don't blatantly lie...cheat...steal...whatever ...to sway public opinion to get their chosen candidate elected.
Sometimes I wish there were extreme rightwing conservative networks and newspapers who did that as unashamedly as the NY Times, ABC, NBC and MSNBC. Maybe even two or three of them to balance out the bias just so the left would get a taste of their own medicine.
It's because Fox News doesn't do that and there aren't any other major news outlets as far rightwing as the leftwing media that liberals have no idea what's it like to be in our shoes.
They think outright biased news, black out news and distorted news is the norm. This article is a perfect example. And it's only just begun. It's a matter of time before they portray Hillary with a halo over her head and elevate her to sainthood.
Lord I hope not, that poor woman has had enough head problems before resigning already.

Thanks for that useless and incorrect information, DumbDave. In the 70's you were alarmed about an Ice Age, idiot. Make up your mind for Christ's sake.
You libtards also said Ronald Reagan was going to start WWIII.
Instead, the old U.S.S.R. freed Eastern Europe, the Berlin Wall fell and the Cold War ended.
I'm not a sock puppet. That would be you.

However, in an attempt to educate you:

"As global temperatures rise, Arctic ice melts and massive amounts of fresh water pour into the North Atlantic and slow the Gulf Stream down. By slowing or stopping this ocean current, global warming actually would cool Europe down dramatically. If other ocean currents were disrupted, the entire planet could experience the same cooling effect and cause an ice age."

http://curiosity.discovery.com/question/globa...

As far as Reagan is concerned. He was an actor playing a part. He was in the right place at the right time when the Berlin Wall came down but he wasn't the one who made it happen.

Since you mentioned it, let's discuss the "Democ-RAT" Senate.

Didn't they just pass a budget for the first time since Obama has been president?

COLAS should be reconsidered at certain income levels.

Minimum wage earners don't get that annually.

And they can't get VA home loans either.

COMMON SENSE.

That kid Ryan, has some....we just need to keep an eye on the codgers around him lol.
