What do you mean by "drones expand" the military? It certainly does not expand the number of military personnel. In fact, only 82 percent of the available training positions for remotely piloted aircraft are filled. However, if you merely mean it expands the military's reach, we should all be cheering the fact that unmanned, round-the-clock drones are patrolling Afghanistan, Yemen and North Africa as opposed to U.S. forces. That is a good thing. The safety of our troops comes first.
