The Progressives are being dishonest hypocrites.
But, Phil was a multi-millionaire prior to the show and probably is not that concern about this. It will not change his views- which if the Progressive morons would think about it for a second is not that intolerant.
It's a sad day when American values are rejected and homosexual perverts rule the roost.

'Duck Dynasty' Star Phil Robertson Suspended Over Anti-Gay Remarks
A&E has suspended "Duck Dynasty" star Phil Robertson following anti-gay comments he made in a recent GQ profile, according to a report by Entertainment Weekly.
In an interview with GQ's Drew Magary, the head of the family in the wildly popular A&E series expressed his view that homosexuality was immoral, likening it to bestiality. Some of the remarks were made using off-color language.
Backlash was widespread and pronounced, including condemnation from GLAAD and the Human Rights Campaign.
On Wednesday evening, A&E released this statement to Entertainment Weekly:
“We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty. His personal views in no way reflect those of A+E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community. The network has placed Phil under hiatus from filming indefinitely."
Entertainment Weekly added that the rest of the family starring in "Duck Dynasty" will remain on the program.

exactly what i said: nothing but grief.
what?! did you think he'd get a pass? i'm sure you folks aren't that naive.
why should normal people be persecuted because of a few homosexual perverts???...

by the way, Phil will be back..."indefinite hiatus" means until it blows over...

suck it up, queer boy...

It is a sad day when anti-Christians are willing to look like raging hypocrites in order to show their intolerance.

I am not saying anything either way about being gay. Just totally appalled that once again Progressives show that yet another group is being used as a political football.

Are you implying there's not a "religious left"? Rev. Jesse Jackson. Rev. Al Sharpton. Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Not to mention all the black churches who still deny their convictions and continue to vote for liberals. Even though that might be changing to some degree.
So what exactly are you implying?
Well Carol since Christianity is in it's very essence liberal then why would black churches be voting against their conviction? It's the right wing so called Christians that have no convictions whatsoever.
Ralph Reed is a prime example. He was up to his neck in Jack Abramoff's casino scandal. On June 22, 2006 the U.S. Senate Committee on Indian Affairs released its final report on the scandal.[10] The report states that under the guidance of the Mississippi Choctaw tribe's planner, Nell Rogers, the tribe agreed to launder money because "Ralph Reed did not want to be paid directly by a tribe with gaming interests." It also states that Reed used non-profits, including Grover Norquist's Americans for Tax Reform, as pass-throughs to disguise the origin of the funds, and that "the structure was recommended by Jack Abramoff to accommodate Mr. Reed’s political concerns." The Choctaw tribe of Mississippi needed to defeat a bill in the Alabama State Legislature which would allow casino-style games on dog racing tracks. This would have resulted in competition for their casino business. Reed had recently contacted Abramoff via email, looking for some help in establishing new business.
"Hey, now that I'm done with electoral politics, I need to start humping in corporate accounts! I'm counting on you to help me with some contacts."
—Ralph Reed to Jack Abramoff, via email, November 12, 1998
Reed proposed to Abramoff some work which he and his firm, Century Strategies, could perform. Reed could access "3,000 pastors and 90,000 religious conservative households" in Alabama, as well as "the Alabama Christian Coalition, the Alabama Family Alliance, the Alabama Eagle Forum,[and] the Christian Family Association." Reed would require a $20,000 per month retainer for his services.
Paul Crouch and is perverse "prosperity gospel" is another good example. The Trinity foundation which investigates religious fraud stated;
“Paul Crouch at TBN is the greatest proponent of the oldest heresy in the church — that gain is godliness,”
Pat Robertson is another good one. Speaking of his service in the Marine Corp during the Korean War he stated;
"The Division was in combat in the hot and dusty, then bitterly cold portion of North Korea just above the 38th Parallel later identified as the 'Punchbowl' and 'Heartbreak Ridge.' For that service in the Korean War, the Marine Corps awarded me three battle stars for 'action against the enemy.'"[
However, former Republican Congressman Paul "Pete" McCloskey, Jr., who served with Robertson in Korea, wrote a public letter which said that Robertson was actually spared combat duty when his powerful father, a U.S. Senator, intervened on his behalf, and that Robertson spent most of his time in an office in Japan. According to McCloskey, his time in the service was not in combat but as the "liquor officer" responsible for keeping the officers' clubs supplied with liquor. Robertson filed a $35 million libel suit against McCloskey in 1986. He dropped the case in 1988, before it came to trial and paid McCloskey's court costs. According to a newspaper report from 1986, Robertson confirmed elements of McCloskey's allegations and said that he never saw front-line duty.
Guy's like these are in it for the money and fools like you are only too glad to shovel it out to them.

That is true but what she is saying is what many have tired to conceal. This sick need for a big "daddy"/ a "savior"

What is wrong with America when you think the government is a replacement for self-reliance?
