Only idiots don't ask questions and go off half-cock
Thanks for the info.
Son, if you just did an itty bitty bit of research, you wouldn't have gone half cocked looking like an idiot.

This is why it's so comical and I enjoy the antics here.

USAsince1680 consistently has interesting, if not accurate posts. While there are times we won't agree, I do get new insight on things I assumed were true in the past. Galt used to be decent, but his hubris (like a number of other reich wingers here) make people want to knock that chip off his shoulders. People like lola are too busy entertaining themselves to care what's happening in the real world, let alone care what's going on.

The only one who comes anywhere near decent is Anonymous of Indy. At least he has a better understanding of the difference between government types and social organizations. The rest of you are just political brain washed hacks.

Obama Gets PolitiFact's 'Lie Of The Year' Prize For Healthcare Claims

Fact-checking website PolitiFact is out with the latest edition of its "Lie of the Year." In 2013, the dubious prize went to President Obama for his widely derided claim that, "If you like your health care plan, you can keep it."

Many people, of course, found that they could not keep their plans, as the higher standards set by Obamacare rendered them null and void. The administration and Congress quickly moved in with proposed fixes to the mushrooming political problem.

PolitiFact is often criticized for its fact-checking methodology, and some noted that it had rated previous statements by Obama along similar lines as "half true."

Ironically, all three runners-up slots in PolitiFact's roundup went to Republicans for their own statements on Obamacare.

Exactly what kind of Christian are you?
Because I know no Christians who want to steal from some to give to others. Charity, according to scripture, comes from the heart.
Also, I know no Christians who have no compassion for life inside the womb but condone bad behavior for creating that life instead.
You sit in judgment of me and others with nothing but unbridled hatred and false accusations directed at us personally using quite colorful language too, I might add.
My criticisms have been toward an ideology that hates traditional values and demonizes anyone who believes in any measure of moral standards in society.
I'm angry that this country elected a president who exemplifies that ideology.
You'll find intolerance by looking in the mirror, Lily. No one has expressed intolerance toward any peaceful religion on here but you...and only at your fellow Christians.
The question is Carol, what kind of Christian are you?
Taxes aren't stealing you clueless twit, they're the price we pay for living in a functioning and civilized society. If some of my tax dollars go to provide the basic necessities of life for those less fortunate than me then I'm fine with that. What does get me angry is that it's necessary because many if not most of those who require public assistance work at jobs that don't pay enough to make ends meet. Many of them for instance work at Wal-Mart. The six Walton heirs control as much wealth as the lower 405 of the population and they maintain their wealth by paying their employees crap wages. Any real Christian would be appalled at this.
Just being anti abortion doesn't make you a Christian Carol, or even pro life for that matter. You actually have to give a damn about these children and their families after their born, which you don't. To really be a Christian and pro life you also need to be anti death penalty. You shouldn't be shilling for those who pollute the water we drink and the air we breathe and shorten lives simply to make a profit.
Sure Carol traditional values to you means denying people equal rights and protections under the law because of their sexual orientation. Traditional values to you means forcing your own narrow religious views on the rest of us. Moral values to me doesn't include making the wealthy even wealthier on the backs of the poor and middleclass. Moral values to me doesn't include raping and pillaging God's creation to make a profit. Moral values to me doesn't include getting rich while paying your employees poverty wages so that the rest of us have to make up the difference.
You have no moral values Carol.

No, you are. The Brazilian Oil Company is obviously foreign which brings up the question of how did they get the loan?
Your ignorance has no bounds.

The purpose of the Export Import Bank to to provide low interest loans to foreign companies buying US manufactured goods.

You appear to be confused as to the origin of the money.
It came from Export-Import Bank of the United States.
The Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank) is the official export credit agency of the United States.
http://www.exim.gov/
Notice the dot gov-guess what that means.
The purpose of this -yes- gov agency "is to assist in financing the export of U.S. goods and services to international markets,"
How is oil drilled by a Brazilian company and exported to China qualify for this loan?
Now stop firing from the hip and check things out.
The loan had nothing to do with oil drilled by a Brazilian oil company going o China.

My God you people are stupid.

Apparently, the New York Post reported the unemployment numbers were manipulated before the 2012 election, according to census insiders.

Couldn't find any updates whether that's been proven false or not. Perhaps it's still under investigation. As is just about everything else surrounding this president's reelection strategies.
Homer would know. Is this also debunked, Homer?
Sure Carol, the New York Post is such a reliable source, right up there with the National Enquirer.
As a nation lived in fear in the days following the Boston Marathon bombings two innocent Massachusetts residents have described being wrongly run off a train and swarmed by reporters outside their home.
In all of these scenarios they say there was one thing that linked them together: A New York Post cover splashing their faces as wanted suspects in the deadly attack.
Now they are suing the paper, accusing the tabloid of falsely portraying them as suspects in the April attack leading to inflicted emotional distress and even near loss of their jobs.
The New York Post sensationalized the Boston Marathon Bombing, claimed the death toll was 12, told us they had a Saudi man in custody and eventually ran a front page photo of two innocent boys they claimed the FBI wanted for questioning. Neither of them were identified by the FBI as suspects. One of those kids, a 17 year old high school student whose face was recognizable in the photo is devastated and afraid ( I have blurred his face from the graphic in this petition). This sort of irresponsible and damaging reporting is unacceptable and should not be tolerated in a modern and civilized society. The New York Post must apologize and stop "standing by" their false reporting. Because in the end, sensationalized news and headlines may sell papers but publishing pure lies only sells your soul and integrity.
