Homer, those terrible Republicans are telling Californians other truths as reported by thinkprogress.org as a "fake ObamaCare website" which is a lie from the get go.
IRS WILL SINGLE OUT CONSERVATIVES.
(No surprise there...they've already done that.)
YOUNG PEOPLE ARE SCREWED.
(Yep...)
EMPLOYERS WILL STOP HIRING.
(And only hire part-time...)
SENIORS WILL EXPERIENCE RATIONING.
(Everyone will experience rationing but especially seniors because physicians won't take Medicare...)
Despite the GOP’s effort to dissuade Californians from purchasing coverage, however, nearly 80,000 people signed up for health insurance in the state’s new exchange as of late November, with approximately "2,7000" people enrolling daily.
(Only 80,000 people have signed up because of those dastardly Republicans!!!)
...And, yes, the article did print the number "2,7000" as was posted.
Actually, the IRS threatened actions under bushie boy son!

You're the only one dodging the issue. Still, to this day, you can't show any evidence any subsidy to any oil company exists.
Show us the subsidy.
The only thing you've ever posted was some politician saying the words "subsidy to oil companies". You have never found any proof these subsidies exist. If I asked you to find proof subsidies to farms exist, it would be very easy to find. For some reason, you have never benn able to find proof any subsidy to any oil company exists.
Or, show us that proof.
Show me the subsidy.
You posted quotes from politicians. How about you tell us what bill they were discussing. How about you tell us what law they wanted to change to end these mythical subsidies.
You can't. There is no such thing as subsidies to oil companies in the United States. Subsidies to oil companies is an urban legend. They don't exist.
Show us the subsidies.

You notice our liberal poster friend doesn't do any "FACT" finding when it comes to this president...
Giving money and military equipment to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt...
Denying security to an embassy knowing violence was escalating in that country and then lying about a video...
Bailing out corporations and failed stimulus packages...
Increasing the deficit to over $17 trillion in one term...
Creating a welfare nation...
Lying to the public about something has personal as health care...
...Reagan's purported "sins" seem rather mild in comparison.
lol! I notice you have a problem with facts in general son!

<quoted text>Paul Krugman: Death Panels Will Be Necessary
November 8, 2013
The Keynesian economist and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman said back in February that in order for the collectivist welfare state to run smoothly higher taxes and death panels will be mandatory.
Krugamn makes his death panel comment around 2 minutes and 20 seconds into the video.
Krugman made his comment at a time when the existence of death panels were steadfastly denied by Democrats and before Obamacare was brought to its knees by the pathological ineffectiveness of the state.
Sarah Palin and others were duly roasted for even suggesting that a communist-style system – where some individuals are sacrificed for the greater good of the collective – would comprise the essence of Obamacare.
In 2010, Media Matters for America, the propaganda mill devised by Democrat political operative and journalist David Brock with help from the establishment’s Center for American Progress (funded by the globalist George Soros), trashed a Washington Examiner column for daring to compare Obamacare to Sovietcare:
“The government will use the ‘science’ of comparative effectiveness research to achieve cost savings the only way government can: denial of care. The Soviet medical system kept down the heart disease caseload by placing cardiac care units on the fifth floor, walk up. Death panels, anyone?”
Democrats know Obamacare hinges on the existence of death panels. That’s the only way rationing will work, as it does in nature – weed out the weak and vulnerable.
On the other hand, it remains to be seen if Obamacare will in fact get off the ground. As it now stands, it appears the program will arrive stillborn due largely to the inability of government to deliver. It can’t even get it together to build a website for enrollees.
H/t Gary North
Not the Washington Examiner. My God Flack.

If a panel is charged with saving money in Medicare ( God forbid we save money) without decreasing benefits, it is not a death panel. I would think a situation where a treatment to prevent death was available before but eliminated by this panel that it would be a reduction in benefits.

But hey, that's just logic.

Who decided these things before? What Medicare covered, what insurance companies covered? What treatments were denied coverage. Were these death panels?

Somewhere a heart transplant going to a man dying of lung cancer seems to be not recommended. Is that a death panel or just common sense. Who decides? It seems to me these decisions can be made without a pack of fricken idiots screaming dearth panels.

At the end of the day, though we remember the words “tear down this wall” as the speech’s most influential element, the message and goal of the speech is what formulated Reagan’s greatest legacy as a true influencer and communicator. Instead of intimidating Gorbachev like most other leaders would have done to tear down the Berlin Wall, Reagan peacefully tests Gorbachev’s intentions and compliments him on his goals for Perestroika and Glasnost during his speech. With his peaceful delivery of the speech, Reagan earns Gorbachev's trust and gained his inspiration to decide on the Berlin Wall’s fate.

"It's going to be a huge issue," Halperin said. "And that's something else about which the President was not fully forthcoming or straight-forward."

"So, you believe there will be rationing, a.k.a 'death panels'?" host Steve Malzberg asked Halperin, the co-author of the 2012 election chronicle "Double Down."

"It's built into the plan. It's not like a guess or like a judgment. That's going to be part of how costs are controlled," Halperin said..."

Now faced with just one of the eight, you come up with the lie that a subsidy is money given & not a tax break.

Wow, how desperate you get when proven to be a liar.

"Definition of 'Subsidy'( Investopdeia)

A benefit given by the government to groups or individuals usually in the form of a cash payment or tax reduction. The subsidy is usually given to remove some type of burden and is often considered to be in the interest of the public."

" Economic benefit (such as a tax allowance or duty rebate) or financial aid (such as a cash grant or soft loan) provided by a government to...."

The World Trade Organization (WTO) has a broader definition of subsidies. It considers a subsidy to be any financial benefit provided by a government that gives an unfair advantage to a specific industry, business or even individual. The WTO mentions five types of subsidies:

Cash subsidies, such as the grants mentioned already.
Tax concessions, such as exemptions, credits or deferrals.
Assumption of risk, such as loan guarantees.
Government procurement policies that give more than the free-market price.
Stock purchases that keep the company's stock price higher than market levels.
