It has taken more than 100 days to confirm some nominees AFTER they were unanimously vetted by the Senate Judiciary Committee. And, when the Senate is finally allowed to act, they confirm a judge to fill a seat that has been vacant for four years. It shouldn't matter if one is a Democrat or Republican. This just isn't acceptable. These delays are a disservice to ALL Americans who depend on our Federal courts for justice.
Now, I'll admit, the Democrats did the same thing under Bush when Republicans were in charge and the Republicans threatened invoking the "nuclear option" at that time. They would have done so too if they had more than a two vote majority.
So now it is done and it is a good thing. It will benefit everyone..including Republicans when they regain control of the senate.
the nominations to the DC court are to pack the court, not to fill vacancies...same as FDR during his depression...unnecessary judges...

From watching CNN around 5PM EST, I learned that Obamacare was doing great in California. Tons of people signing up.
CNN didn't say how bad it is in the entire country, being an arm of the Ministry of propaganda.
Why don't we just send money to Mexico? Considering California has been taking over by a Mexican population in the last 20 years (ILLEGAL ALIENS), Democrats rejoice.
How ironic Democrats are forcing everyone to support Mexico. The Democrats include illegal aliens who shouldn't be here in the first place in the numbers they use to justify their socialism.
Democrats hope socialism/communism will keep them in power. They will then want to call Congress the Politburo. That's По&#10 83;ит& #1080;че ск&#10 86;е бю&#10 88;о for you Democrat Comrades.
75-80% of the people signing up in California are old, sick people...the system will implode...

by the way, unless you plan to die soon, you probably made a bad financial decision...far better to keep working full-time until your normal retirement age so that you can be self-sufficient instead of dependent on handouts...

Anyone can retire at the age of 62 if they can and if they want to. It's the law. Working, even part-time, is the opposite of dependence. The only jobs anyone can find anyway these days.
The choices my husband and I made together during our married life and as parents led up to my retirement at this time in my life, and I want the money the government took from me back now. If I had lived another life, other choices would have been made.
Go find some real takers. Take your complaints up with them.
problem is, you probably can't afford to retire..your need for a part-time job proves that...

Minnesota senator Al Franken, a Democrat, opens the door to a delay of the Obamacare individual mandate in an interview with Minnesota Public Radio.
The Washington Post reports:
Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) says he would be open to a brief delay in the individual mandate if the problems with HealthCare.gov aren't fixed by the end of the month, according to Minnesota Public Radio.
"I think then we have to consider extending the deadline for the mandate, but letís hope that doesn't happen," Franken told MPR.
Franken has so far been relatively quiet about potential changes to the health-care law, but he now joins a growing group of Senate Democrats in seats that could be targeted by the GOP in 2014 who are speaking up on the issue.
Typical liberals.

Now I'm "sucking up government benefits"? Seriously?

Either you're too young to be thinking about retirement and all the money the government has taken from you over your working lifetime or you're just going to tell them to keep it when it's your turn.

But what you're saying is wait until I'm 65 and THEN be dependent on handouts?

What difference does three years make when I don't even need to work full-time until I'm 65?

What's really the problem here, Galt? Need to talk about it?
