Way to nuke ’em, Harry.
It was time — actually, long past time — for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to invoke the “nuclear option” and ask his colleagues to change the Senate’s rules. This isn’t about partisan politics. It’s about making what has been called “the world’s greatest deliberative body” function the way the Framers of the Constitution intended.
Recently, it has barely functioned, as Republicans abused the old rules to prevent the chamber from performing its enumerated duties. There was a time when the minority party in the Senate would have been embarrassed to use such tactics in pursuit of ends that are purely political, but we seem to live in an era without shame.

The democrats ran a surrender strategy. That is how they won in 2008. The democrats have been surrendering the entire O'bama administration. No balls O'bama is now number two. Putin, the Russian statesman is seen as the leader of the free world. O'bama is seen as the laughing stock of the entire world.

WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama on Thursday endorsed the move by Democrats to revamp Senate filibuster rules to make it easier for the majority party to confirm nominees.

"I support the step a majority of senators took to change the way that Washington is doing business. More specifically, the way the Senate does business," Obama said during remarks in the White House briefing room. "The vote today, I think, is an indication that a majority of senators believe, as I believe, that enough is enough."

But of course the same leftist communists running the White House today are the very same clan that killed Kennedy.
Well said!!! Another example of how the left distorts facts to lie, I mean spin, to prop themselves up. The current Democratic party is a house of cards.

Conservative activist James O’Keefe has agreed to pay $100,000 to a former employee of ACORN in National City, Calif., in order to settle a lawsuit, according to media reports and federal court documents.
In the documents, O’Keefe says he “regrets any pain” he caused Juan Carlos Vera, who was surreptitiously interviewed by O’Keefe in August 2009, according to the Los Angeles Times. The video appears to show Vera agreeing to help O’Keefe and another activist, Hannah Giles, smuggle young girls into the Untied States to work as prostitutes. O’Keefe also admitted in the settlement he didn’t know Vera had contracted police after their conversation when he distributed the video.

The new Obama lie for this week:

The administration will allow consumers to start signing up on Nov. 15, 2014, as opposed to Oct. 15. Enrollment will last until Jan. 15, 2015, instead of Dec. 7.

An HHS official told Fox News the move will give insurers "the benefit of more time to evaluate their experiences during the 2014 plan year" and let them take into account late-filing customers when setting their 2015 rates.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/11/22/ob...

The scumbag Obama did this because of the 2014 mid-term election. The lie is that it's to give people "more time".

Republicans Hate Getting What They Wanted When They No Longer Want It
We’ve seen the Republican reaction to Harry Reid’s reluctant and long-delayed decision to invoke the so-called nuclear option, changing the Senate’s filibuster rules so that Obama’s judicial nominees get the simple up-or-down votes they deserve.
It’s been fun, if frustrating to watch. Rand Paul did what Rand Paul does best and threw a tantrum. We just wish he would take his toys and go home to conclude his childish reaction. Sean Hannity once supported filibuster reform. Now he is calling it “One of the most lawless power grabs” in U.S. history. The rules allow for it, but it’s a power grab? Rush Limbaugh melted down, calling the democratic process “dictatorship,” and of course, Fox News went straight for the false equivalency cupboard.
It has been fun because exploding Republican heads are a joy, but frustrating because they get to tell their lies in response and have them obligingly repeated by a compliant and complicit mainstream media. Look at CNN repeating the myth that “Both parties have been guilty of political hijinks involving filibusters.”
If you want to know how bad things got before Harry Reid did what needed to be done, look at Right Wing Watch’s list of “ten most outrageous filibusters of Obama’s nominees” and at the five charts provided by People for the American Way. You will see (as if any liberal or progressive needs to be told) that that claim “both sides do it” does not hold water:
The Republicans were claiming Obama was stacking the courts but in fact the Republicans were trying to overturn the results of the elections they lost and pretend they won after all. As Obama said,“A deliberate and determined effort to obstruct everything, no matter what the merits, just to refight the results of an election is not normal. And for the sake of future generations, it cannot become normal.”
Now that they have lost they claim that it will make politics in Washington more partisan. This is because they can no longer get away with their rampant use of partisan politics. How dare Democrats stand up to them! Obviously, things had gotten as partisan as they could possibly get – government was not functioning, after all – or we would not have seen Reid act.
And it turns out that Mitch McConnell, who so opposed the nuclear option, was actually for a simple up-or-down vote on judicial nominees – in 2005, when George W. Bush was president.
He doesn’t think such votes are fair when a Democrat occupies the White House, of course. Remember, Republican conceptions of liberty and freedom apply only to Republicans. Say “fair is fair” and you will likely see a Republican vomit.(Use this power responsibly!)

The media refuse, and the Republican Party is either too afraid or complicit (and I think it is more the latter), to call Obama what he is. Obama is a neo-Leninist communist, and it is time we not only understand that, but call him that. The proof is undeniable.

People, specifically the talking heads who routinely appear on Fox News Channel programs, are ever ready to argue Obama doesn’t understand the economy and that leads him to make the poor economic decisions that he does. I contend that it isn’t that he doesn’t understand the economics and capitalism; it’s that the American capitalist system offends him based on his true political ideology.

His intentions, along with the intentions of the people he has surrounded himself with, are to destroy the American capitalist system and usher in communism. This is precisely the reason he has gone to such transpicuous lengths to foment racial discord. Doctrinally, he believes that revolution is the means through which the American capitalist system will be destroyed and replaced with a socialist state.http://www.wnd.com/2013/ 08/its-time-to-admit-obama-is- a-communist/

DEM WAR The U.S. government viewed American involvement in the war as a way to prevent a communist takeover of South Vietnam. This was part of their wider strategy of containment, which aimed to stop the spread of communism. Estimates of the number of Vietnamese service members and civilians killed vary from 800,000[38] to 3.1 million.[22][25] Some 200,000–300,000 Cambodians,[26][27][28] 20,000–200,000 Laotians,[39][40][41][42][43][ 44] and

( 58,220 U.S.) service members died TO FIGHT Communism!!!

NOW THE DEM LEADERS ARE SUPPORTING OBAMA!!!
IT IS DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!
