John, this is the insurance companies putting everything on the line and hoping they don't get politically hammered.
We'll see.
As for the current recession, your party owns that lock, stock and barrel. What we're going through now is aftermath from 2001-2008.
As much as you hate facing it, the huge deficit of today was created by the Bush tax breaks.
Tax breaks which failed to bring the promised prosperity.
Now if Republicans cared about the country, they'd admit they got it wrong and try to heal up some of the damage by rescinding the tax breaks.
But rather than admit they got it wrong, they'd rather wreck the government and the country, all the while screaming "Obama did it!"
I keep wondering who was using any common sense or brains when the Dems LIED about what the bill said.

How did the Dems think this was going to play out?

Did they really think that Americans would overlook being LIED to because golly gee it is Obamacare?

It appears to me that the Dems suffered a major reality disconnect.

The insurance companies screwed the public, not Obama.

One thing the "privatize everything" Repugnants need to realize is that medical care, like clean air and sanitation, is a public good.

The idea that medical treatment for those who really need it should be held hostage to the profit motive is simply barbaric.

Like "trickle down" economics, the time will come to throw it into the dust heap of history as well.

How is attempting to claim Obamacare did not re-write insurance policies working for you? I know you believe the LIE but Americans do not.

medical care is a product, a service, to be purchased like any other product or service...

what is barbaric is your concept that doctors and other medical personnel should be your slaves for the "public good"...

"profit" is what those people live on...

insurance companies are irrelevant, just a financing and payment mechanism...

I go out of my way to post sources that are either liberally biased, liberal leaning or somewhat neutral like CNN just for your and your liberal pals' benefit so you can't use this same lame friggin' excuse all the time...which you continually insist on doing anyway.
Don't ever accuse anyone else of having early dementia.
You never post a link because you don't know how.
I'm through with your nonsense.
That's some real funny chit babe__btw, CNN is a sign on a building__the sign nor the building never said or posted a hot dam thing. Robin Meade would be a source, Wolf Blitzer, Jake Tapper but not CNN.

Same with CBS and even your faves at FOX.

Insurance companies are following the law, Sherlock! The ACA bill was written by democrats and signed into law by Obama THAT IS THE FACTS of the situation. Don't use the insurance companies at fault for what your demo's and Obama had totally responsibility for from the first word typed on the ACA Healthcare bill back 2009.

THE DEMO'S AND OBAMA OWN THIS LAW!!!
