You are truly IGNORANT. Common sense should tell you that people who can't afford high premiums will delay getting needed care...and, possibly, die. That just isn't acceptable. People who can't afford auto insurance take the bus. Geez!

Better go turn on our TVs...

We'll know if Obama hit rock bottom yesterday, according to an MSNBC article, around 12:30 pm ET when the House votes on the Upton legislation…20 or 30 red-state Dems voting for it is one thing; 60 to 100 would be a rebuke.

Probably don't want to miss this no matter what the outcome.

Republican strategist Karl Rove said Thursday the tea party element has put the GOP in a “state of flux,” but it is on its way out.

“The Republican coalition is in a state of flux,” Rove said during a panel at The Atlantic’s Washington Ideas Forum, when asked to assess the current situation of his party.“Now it’s starting to sort out, and I think, frankly, we are past .”

Rove said unlike the traditional conservative model, since 2009 or 2010, the party has seen a “yeasty, tea party element which is at once socially conservative, culturally middle-class bourgeois, economically conservative but populist, but in some sense national defense conservatives, but they’ve got a difference from the traditional three boxes.”

He thinks he can decree changes to a law that he decreed as a law at a press conference.

"So let it be written, so let it be done" kind of thing.

Congress will actually make that decision for him this afternoon - as is our system.

Hypocrite. You seem to have no problem jacking up everyone else's rates and having their insurance cancelled.

You have no clue what common sense is.

People who have auto insurance claims also pay higher premiums. They don't all "take the bus" you idiot!

Speaking of throwing people under the bus, have you heard about this new thing called Obamacare?
The Republicans' worst nightmare is that Obamacare will be successful. Obama has three years to make it work and the only way Republicans can do anything about it is to win control of both the House and Senate. If I were you, I wouldn't hold my breath.

IMO, insurance companies will go along with Obama's latest order to allow lousy plans to continue until Healthcare.gov is working at full capacity. Those "steady and predictable profits in perpetuity" under Obamacare are too attractive to risk losing.

Medicaid Divorce: An Overview
Before Medicaid rules changed in 1987, divorce had been used as a planning tool to allow one spouse to qualify for Medicaid assistance and to avoid impoverishing the well spouse. Since recent changes to Medicaid rules in May 2006, the “Medicaid divorce” has been resurrected as a planning tool.
