Cuccinelli nearly won in a state where Democrats are the majority, 37%(Republicans 32%). McAuliffe won by a 48-45 percent margin when he was expected to have a double-digit lead.
Cuccinelli had a nine-point edge among independents, but McAuliffe did better in getting out his base.
A conservative in a Democrat majority state coming so close to winning should curb your enthusiasm. Obamacare shock has just begun.
Cuckoocinelli lost because of his stupid idiotic comments about peoples person sex lives. No one wants politics in their bedrooms.
He wanted to be Governor, yet didn't get a social security number for his kids. He's a nutjob; hes another sicko anti womens rights.
No one wants that b/s.

Exit polling shows conservatives stayed home. This should tell the GOP something.

winning by losing would seem to be detrimental to most intelligent folks.

unless you're detrimentally 'intelligent'.

after awhile you have to start to wonder if that isn't mandatory.

The woman who was once the face of the troubled HealthCare.gov website said she's been the victim of "cyberbullying" since the Affordable Care Act's rollout began.
Identified only as "Adriana," she told ABC News about the insults and jokes that have come her way since Oct. 1, when the website went live and her face greeted scores of visitors.
"They have nothing else to do but hide behind the computer. They're cyberbullying," she said. "I mean, I don't know why people should hate me because it's just a photo. I didn't design the website. I didn't make it fail, so I don't think they should have any reasons to hate me."

we see it every day. if they had to say it face to face they'd never say it.
so if it wasn't for the internet there would be no tea party.
Poor Adriana all the crap she had to take from all the democrats running to the exchanges. O'bama and his care never paid her and really, what were democrats and O'bama thinking? she is not a citizen. It's too bad O'bama didn't put his picture on the O'bamacare website. That would have been the correct avenue to take. Shame on O'bama.

Benghazi is a non issue except among FOX stooges.
He did say this:

"There should be no doubt that we will be relentless in tracking down the killers and bringing them to justice."

And this:

"...it will not be enough to put more guards in front of an embassy or to put out statements of regret and wait for the outrage to pass."

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/26/world/obama...

He wasn't relentless enough in tracking down the killers. No one has been brought to justice after all this time.

But he did put out a statement of regret and waited for the outrage to pass.

He had some very nice words to say about Chris Stevens, but just didn't mention a planned terrorist attack on the anniversary of 9/11 was responsible for his death.

There was an upcoming election and it might have affected his chance of winning.

He looks the same to me too but they claim he's lost some weight. Christie's likeability factor is pretty high, half Sicilian, the other half Scotch-Irish and he can be tough guy when he's not being a funny guy.

His problem is that it's far to early to be the GOP front runner for POTUS__they eat their own.

We've been there before. Let them gloat. Back in the 111th Congress the Democrats picked up a couple of vacant house seats in Nov. 2009 and all the liberal fools were celebrating the death of the Republican party. Then one year later the Republicans picked up 63 seats and took over House majority.
