Saw that last night. The fact that Stewart characterized Obama's deliberate lies to the American people for personal and political gain as just "somewhat dishonest" was a hint to the mischaracterizations that would follow.

Stewart has a tendency to take snippets of people's words and videos out of context to fit his satirical agenda. He's been caught doing this more than once.

An exaggeration or misspeak by one person on the side of the opposition was used to broad brush the perspective of everyone who shares the anger and mistrust.

While Dr. Carson quoted the words of Lenin - which was widely published in a pamphlet distributed by the American Medical Association in 1945 and is in dispute as being completely accurate - there is no dispute that Lenin advocated "seizing governmental power first and then enacting wholesale socialist reforms" and that many of Vladimir Lenin's quotes falls right in line with this president's goals and that of his administration.

Stewart can be fair and balanced in his satire, but he completely missed the mark last night. I had to turn the channel.

Obama was not just "somewhat dishonest". He bald-faced lied to the American people over and over and over again and, even worse, HE KNEW HE WAS DOING IT AND STILL DID IT.

Diminishing the growing and justifiable anger and mistrust on the part of the American people towards this president and his administration by mischaracterizing and cherry picking the worst examples of that growing anger and mistrust among Americans was actually the "somewhat dishonest" part - on Stewart's part.

Very disappointing.

You must be a stupid Liberal or an idiot Democrat!!!

When a Conservative says that we can find job where the government had created obstacles it means that if we do not find a job we create one!

But lazy parasite Democrats can not survive without Welfare, Food Stamps and Obamaphones!

When I lost my job in 1997 and could not find one I CREATED MY OWN JOB!!! I sold webTV's in Puerto Rico and made a lot of money!!!

But changed all the traveling for a better job!

Conservative never starve to dearth while Democrats are parasites!

No wonder Democrats worry about the Food Stamp cut of $36.00. They know their Democrat parasite lazy ghetto like you will starve without money for drugs, alcohol and cigarettes.

U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez, the vocal proponent in Congress for a change in policy that would give undocumented immigrants who were brought to the United States as minors a chance to legalize their status, has cut off ties with two groups that have coordinated provocative protests in recent months.

Gutierrez, a Democrat from Illinois, on Monday evening issued a press release announcing that he was no longer going to work with the National Immigrant Youth Alliance (NIYA) and their affiliated advocates at DREAMActivist.org .

The congressman said the final straw in a series of actions by the groups that he has found unsettling was the secret recording by a NIYA representative of what was to have been a confidential discussion last week between Gutierrez and parents of immigrants who are being held in an immigrant detention center in El Paso, Tex.

"It just shows me how dangerous they are," Gutierrez said in an interview Tuesday with Fox News Latino. "How Nixonian...Why target the leading voices in the Senate and House for immigration reform?"

“That meeting was ... recorded surreptitiously by NIYA, without the knowledge of the parents, the Congressman or his staff,” Gutierrez said in a statement sent Monday night to the media.“It is unfortunate that the actions of the advocates in this case are preventing this office from being able to work with parents and family who are understandably and rightly concerned for the safety of their son or daughter.”

What Clinton did was much worse. Exploiting his power over a vulnerable young woman in the Oval Office on our time and our dime.

Fortunately, Clinton redeemed himself in an interview after his presidency admitting he lied "just because he could" and lying just because you can is the most reprehensible thing anyone can do.

That was good enough for me.

It was Bill Clinton who announced the "era of big government is over" in a State of the Union Address.

Wonder what he's thinking now.

There must have been a great temptation to just go back and use whatever Joe Biden said about plagiarism back in 1988. Paul said “This is coming from haters to begin with.” Haters? Rand, you’re thinking about running for president of the United States. Your public statements shouldn’t sound like a quote from Kanye West. Wait! "Jefferson obviously was a clear leader on the principle of nullification," the former Texas congressman said of the third president. "I’ve been working on the assumption that nullification is going to come. It’s going to be a de facto nullification. It’s ugly, but pretty soon things are going to get so bad that we’re just going to ignore the feds and live our own lives in our own states."

....He tore into the Constitution’s 17th Amendment. Ratified in 1913, it’s the one that allows for the direct election of U.S. senators by popular vote. "That undermined the principle importance of the states," said Paul.

He criticized the 16th Amendment, which allowed the federal income tax. After the crowd chanted "End the Fed," Paul decried the printing of more money by the Federal Reserve. "We need someone to stand up to the authoritarians," he said. "They’re dictators."

....He stressed that the constitutional "right to keep and bear arms" was not for hunting, but to allow rebellion against tyrannical governments. "The Second Amendment was not there so you could shoot rabbits," he said. "Right now today, we have a great threat to our liberties internally."

So how do you feel about turning over access to sensitive healthcare information to the Internal Revenue Service?

In the wake of running disclosures of the agency’s nefarious snooping and political targeting, its new role as chief health insurance enforcer should give us heartburn.

Under Obamacare, responsibility for verifying eligibility for the healthcare program, and monitoring whether you carry “qualifying” health coverage (and are exempt from the law’s penalties) falls principally to the IRS.

The IRS was given expansive, new powers to execute these goals. That includes more authority to share your personal information — not only about your income, but also your healthcare.

And the agency’s reach only grows: Former IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman told Congress last year that the agency would need another $13.1 billion to implement Obamacare in 2014, on top of the billion it has already spent.

Officials at the U.S. Treasury, the parent of the IRS, have estimated that the IRS now has about 700 full-time staffers working on Obamacare implementation.

Estimates say that eventually, the IRS will need a minimum of 5,000 and perhaps as many of 16,000 additional employees to carry out the new law’s many mandates.

The IRS is under fire this week, after its Director of Exempt Organizations Lois Lerner admitted on Friday that the agency targeted conservatives for special tax-exempt scrutiny during the 2012 election season. IRS targeted tea party types and groups that specifically opposed the Obama Administration.

This abuse should give everyone pause heading into the fall, when the IRS assumes the lead roll in monitoring what kind of health insurance we carry, whether we are eligible for Obamacare, or subject to the legislation’s myriad list of financial penalties.

Solving problems based on the target percentage problem is a Conservative idea!!!

A Conservative world had made law to help that 5 percent leaving the other 95% alone!

Democrats will force the 95% while giving waivers to the other 5%, as Obama had already done.
