At least learn something about the facts before posting a misleading opinion.

The State Department's former point man on security in Libya told the House Oversight Committee that he asked for additional security help for the Benghazi facility months before the attack, but was denied.

Various communications dating back a year asked for three to five diplomatic security agents. But Eric Nordstrom, the one-time regional security officer, said he verbally asked for 12 agents.

The request for 12 agents was rebuffed by the regional director of the State Department's Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs.

"For me and my staff, it was abundantly clear that we were not going to get resources until the aftermath of an incident," Nordstrom said.

They would pay for it through taxation.

The fact s that if we went to a single payor system, it would be less money that what we spend now.

You fucknuts keep wanting to hand corporations money. What if they had no health insurance benefit costs?

What started out as a great idea became distorted by the public school system. Instead of teaching with a standard of excellence to improve test scores, they decided to focus on teaching just the test instead.

The bigger picture eludes the liberal mentality.

Testing is a means to measure knowledge. Their job was to instill knowledge.

Liberals interpreted high test scores with more money. Which wasn't the purpose of students having the knowledge to achieve higher test scores.

Not sure if you even understand this or not. It's hard to tell sometimes.

What do you know about the failed liberal idea of teaching minimal skills in the public schools?

Liberals loved the idea of students barely passing in all subjects and teachers wasting valuable time graphing each students' barely passing - minimally - but still passing.

They finally realized that was a stupid idea and announced it wasn't required anymore. I almost stood up and cheered.

It was about the same time Bush encouraged teaching excellence instead. Liberals decided to skip corners and just teach the test and blame Bush because they didn't work either.

DemoKKKrat calls for return of slavery in the USA!!!

Last night at the Great Falls (VA) Grange debate, Democrat delegate candidate Kathleen Murphy said that since many doctors are not accepting medicaid and medicare patients, she advocates making it a legal requirement for those people to be accepted.

She did not recognize that the payments are inadequate to cover the doctors' costs. She also did not recognize there is a shortage of over 45,000 physicians now and that it is forecast to be 90,000 in a few years.

Democrats appear to want to make physicians slaves of the state, but Democrats don't admit they would just drive more doctors out of practice into retirement and other occupations. The Obamacare law and regulations are causing millions of people to lose their health insurance, drop many doctors and hospitals. The HHS internal forecast is 93 million Americans would lose their health insurance due to the Obamacare law and rules about adequacy of insurance.

In the 1980s, the National Assessment of Educational Progress reported a disproportionate percentage of 17-year-old American whites to the same age blacks were functionally illiterate and automatic promotion had contributed to the problem. High-school diplomas no longer represented any measurable level of proficiency and, as a result of the report, many school districts adopted "minimum competency testing" for graduation.

The Minimum Basic Skills approach in the public schools began at the elementary levels. I should know. I was forced to participate and rejoiced when it failed.

But I stand corrected. It was Reagan, not Bush, who first identified the problems in the public schools.

So you are against free enterprise then? All prices of all products are not the same in every store. The only way for all drugs to be at the same price for everyone is by government control.
lily is either drunk or unable to read with comprehension...

Galt stated that the price of any given drug in any given pharmacy should be the same for all customers.

Naturally, in a free market each pharmacy should be free to charge whatever it chooses for a given drug and consumers should be free to choose which pharmacy to patronize.

Government price control will end the development of new drugs.

At least Realtime doesn't come here and tell lies about phony former careers. So which was it, the Nurse or the Teacher?? Or would you like to expand your lies, ala Nobraina or DB??

The only teaching you did was in your imagination. You are a liar, proven time and again by many on this thread.

Even now, you lie about your going on the Gov't dole at 62. Real SS begins at 66, why are you such a thief??

You're nothing but a phony, Carol. You always have been, always will be.

As for NCLB, you have your head firmly stuffed up your butt, as usual, and the fumes are making you dumber than usual.

----------

""No Child Left Behind requires all public schools receiving federal funding to administer a state-wide standardized test annually to all students. This means that all students take the same test under the same conditions. "

----------

NCLB mandated 'teach to the test'. That's why it was a failure. You're a failure due to inbred stupidity and a remarkable ability to be led by sick, sexually perverted scum like O'Reilly.

Tom Lee, 63, of Grand Rapids, Mich., claims to have “accurately reported” in 2003 to an FBI special agent that Osama bin Laden was hiding in a compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

Lee, a gem merchant, has now retained a lawyer and is seeking the $25 million reward for giving a tip that lead to the Al-Qaida leader’s discovery, according to a letter sent in August to FBI Director James Comey by an attorney for the Loevy & Loevy firm.

The government has declared that the raid on bin Laden’s compound came as the result of electronic surveillance of his couriers, and would pay no bounty for bin Laden. Lee’s account differs from numerous published reports noting that the bin Laden compound had not been completed until 2005. U.S. officials were quoted as saying it was believed bin Laden didn’t move to the complex until early 2006. One of bin Laden’s wives who was taken into custody following the 2011 raid reportedly told interrogators they’d been there for five or six years.
