No, they don't keep it in a vault in the basement. They buy yachts! The boat show is on here in Ft Lauderdale this weekend; wait and see how much they drop there. They're buying more yachts and planes than ever; and also, Art Basel has never been more successful! They have so much cash to spend that they don't know what to do with it, so they build homes everywhere that they may spend only a day or two in. Your economic ignorance is appalling.
Who builds the yachts lily? Mechanics and fabricators that's who!
Who builds the airplanes lily? Electricians and sheet metal mechanics lily!
Who builds the homes lily? Carpenters, electrician, Heat and Air techs, and Masonry folks lily!

Your quote sounds very much like something Stalin or Mao would have said.

They, too, wanted a level playing field but, instead, created a society where a lack of incentive bred animosity and resentment.

The rich aren't the enemy. Laziness and apathy is.

Aerosmith became very rich. Were they singing about themselves?

Stop and think about what you are saying, Homer. The government cannot do what people can do better themselves.

Creating a welfare state benefits no one but the power elite. Empowering the power elite instead of empowering the people is a very dangerous and slippery slope.

Pretty sure you're old enough to have learned this from history.

Obama is creating a society where living off the backs of others has become a permanent lifestyle.

Is that the kind of society liberals want?

Just to make the obvious come full circle...

Who hires mechanics, fabricators, electricians, sheet metal mechanics, carpenters, heat and air techs and masons to build yachts, airplanes and homes?

The 1% of the population who invest, create jobs and provide a decent lifestyle for millions of families.

If everyone is poor, how does that help anyone else?

<quoted text>Can you imagine if the Obammy lies had hit this hard (or the media had to actually discuss the Obammy lies) in 2012?
Like his repeated promises that Obamacare would not threaten anyone’s existing health insurance policies? Meanwhile, over the past two weeks, millions of Americans have received notices from their health insurance companies that their policies have been canceled because they don’t abide by Obamacare’s requirements.
The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board explained that Obama’s repetition of THIS LIE WAS NOT AN OVERSIGHT. It was a deliberate means of lulling into complacency these Americans who opted to buy their insurance themselves on the open market, in order to stick them with the burden of underwriting Obamacare.
In the editorialist’s words,“The [healthcare] exchanges need these customers [whose private policies are being canceled] to finance Obamacare’s balance sheet and stabilize its risk pools.
On the exchanges, individuals earning more than $46,000 or a family of four above $94,000 don’t qualify for subsidies and must buy overpriced insurance. If these middle-class Obamacare losers can be forced into the exchanges, they become financiers of the new pay-as-you go entitlement.”
Sure there is an outcry now about Obama’s dishonesty and the way he has used lying to take away from an unwilling public a right it would never have knowingly surrendered, but IT IS TOO LATE. There is no chance of revoking the law until at 2017, when Obama leaves office.
And by then, everyone will have been forced to accept what they consider unacceptable or be fined and lose all health coverage.
Wait until next year just before the midterms when the new HIGHER exchange rates will come out. That and the dismal employment numbers thanks to the ObamaKare employer mandate implementation will keep the House Republican majority. Obama will spend his last year as emperor being a recluse.

Washington Post's Gives Obama Four Heath Insurance Pinocchios..

Obama admin knew millions could not keep their health insurance

Four sources deeply involved in the Affordable Care Act tell NBC NEWS that 50 to 75 percent of the 14 million consumers who buy their insurance individually can expect to receive a “cancellation” letter or the equivalent over the next year because their existing policies don’t meet the standards mandated by the new health care law.

One expert predicts that number could reach as high as 80 percent. And all say that many of those forced to buy pricier new policies will experience “sticker shock.”

Obama repeatedly assured Americans that after the Affordable Care Act became law, people who liked their health insurance would be able to keep it. But millions of Americans are getting or are about to get cancellation letters for their health insurance under Obamacare, say experts, and the Obama administration has known that for at least three years.

Name the liar anyone?

Morning, piece of sh it, tea bag terrorist.
So were are you from,North Korea??????? Preamble: The Tea Party Movement is an all-inclusive American grassroots movement with the belief that everyone is created equal and deserves an equal opportunity to thrive in these United States where they may “pursue life, liberty and happiness” as stated in the Declaration of Independence and guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States.

No one is excluded from participation in the Tea Party Movement. Everyone is welcomed to join in seeking to achieve the Tea Party Movement goals, which are as follows:

1. Eliminate Excessive Taxes - Excessively high taxes are a burden for those exercising their personal liberty to work hard and prosper as afforded by the Constitution. A fiscally responsible government protects the freedom of its citizens to enjoy the fruits of their own labor without interference from a government that has exceeded its necessary size, scope and reach into the lives of its citizens.

“Collecting more taxes than is absolutely necessary is legalized robbery.”--Calvin Coolidge

“A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government.”--Thomas Jefferson

“Any tax is a discouragement and therefore a regulation.”--Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.

Also see: What is the Tea Party; Tea Party Ideas; Tea Partiers; Voice of the Tea Party

2. Eliminate the National Debt - By implementing fiscally conservative policies at all levels of government, progress can be made toward eliminating the U.S. National Debt. Massive increases in the National Debt have created and continue to create a huge burden for the next generation of Americans, thus imperiling the country’s short-term and long-term economic health and prosperity.

“You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today.”--Abraham Lincoln

“If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace.”--Thomas Paine, 1776

“As on the one hand, the necessity for borrowing in particular emergencies cannot be doubted, so on the other, it is equally evident that to be able to borrow upon good terms, it is essential that the credit of a nation should be well established.”--Alexander Hamilton, 1790

Tea Party Platform continued:

3. Eliminate Deficit Spending - All deficit spending must be eliminated immediately. We insist that government representatives at all levels maintain a fiscally responsible budget and balance the books as would be expected of any American business.

“Arbitrary power is most easily established on the ruins of liberty abused to licentiousness.”--George Washington

“A penny saved is a penny earned.”--Benjamin Franklin

“Tomorrow, every Fault is to be amended; but that Tomorrow never comes.”--Benjamin Franklin

Tea Party Platform - Home of the Tea Party Movement Platform continued:

4. Protect Free Markets - America’s free enterprise system allows businesses to thrive as they compete in the open marketplace and strive toward ever better services and products. Allowing free markets to prosper unfettered by government interference is what propelled this country to greatness with an enduring belief in the industriousness and innovations of the populace.
