"there's not evidence that the Obumbles Administration has swept anything under the rug". You must be on drugs, as that's all this Commununist so called president has done. He is a complete phony and fraud, and dumbass brainwashed flakes like you cover up for him. After 5 years of this fraud, the American people can see him for what he is. A fake, a fraud, a charlatan, a cowardly, spineless shadow of a man. I wouldn't hire this ass to be the janitor of the WH.
He'd play cards when things got too intense as a janitor too.

Not a good day for Republicans. However, a $1 million fine for breaking the law to the tune of $11 million is pathetic.
The FPPC and the Communist California Attorney General are so politicized as to make this story a joke...the $1 million settlement is just to save the cost of legal fees...

Lowering costs would have fixed the health care problem. Republicans had the solutions. But Obama couldn't fundamentally transform this country if Democrats had embraced them.

In light of Obama and his elite inner circle pulling out their hair and gnashing their teeth on Capital Hill over the Obamacare disaster, and Senate Democrats scrambling to try and save their seats in 2014, it's probably not a good time to talk about whether Republicans are having a good day or not.
Not surprised at all by your perception of things. Your sense of reality revolves around Hate Talk Radio. Someday you will learn you're being played a fool but until that time arrives, the only thing I see in your future is one failure after another.

most normal people have much more important things in their lives than worrying about medical care...

50% of Americans rarely seek medical care...

5% of Americans account for 50% of medical costs...

if you want to control costs, focus on the heavy consumers...

simple...designate someone who you trust to make the correct decision...and, if that doesn't work, so what?
LMAO. You really have no idea what end of life planning is, do you?

"Because a living will cannot give guidance for every possible situation, you probably want to name someone to make care decisions for you if you are unable to do so for yourself. You might choose a family member, friend, lawyer, or someone in your religious community. You can do this either in the advance directives or through a durable power of attorney for health care that names a health care proxy, who is also called a representative, surrogate, agent, or attorney-in-fact.“Durable” means it remains in effect even if you are unable to make decisions. A durable power of attorney for health care is useful if you don’t want to be specific—if you would rather let the health care proxy evaluate each situation or treatment option independently. A durable power of attorney for health care is also important if your health care proxy, the person you want to make choices for you, is not a legal member of your family. Of course, you should make sure the person and alternate(s) you have named understand your views about end-of-life care. If you don’t name someone, the state you live in probably has an order of priority based on family relationships to determine who decides for you. A few states let people name a health care proxy by telling their doctor, without paperwork (not California)"

So you see, you've actually done some end of life planning without even being aware of it and it didn't hurt now did it?

We bought a new refrigerator today and besides sticker shock I was taken aback by the following "mode":

SABBATH MODE:

"The Sabbath Mode is a feature that disables portions of the refrigerator and its controls in accordance with observance of the weekly Sabbath and religious holidays within the Orthodox Jewish community."

"For further assistance, guidelines for proper usage and a complete list of models with the Sabbath feature, please visit the www.star-k-org."

What a joke and a sham. Jews certainly have no room to complain about accommodations made for Muslims.
