Just 12 percent of Americans approve of Congress' job performance, a new low in 40 years of polling, according to an ABC News/Washington Post poll released Tuesday.

The survey shows Congress' worst approval rating in ABC/Post polls since 1989 and in Gallup polls dating back to 1974, with 85 percent of Americans disapproving of the legislative branch in the wake of the government shutdown.

The poll also found that for the first time since it began tracking the figure 24 years ago, more Americans disapprove of their own representatives. Traditionally Americans disapprove more of Congress as a whole, but the latest survey also found representatives underwater with 47 percent disapproval while just 43 percent approved of their performance.

Psychological projection:

Psychological projection was conceptualized by Sigmund Freud in the 1890s as a defense mechanism in which a person unconsciously rejects his or her own unacceptable attributes by ascribing them to objects or persons in the outside world. For example, a person who is rude may accuse other people of being rude.

Hence, really stupid PDupont calls everybody else stupid.

Uh Oh: 47 Million Food Stamp Recipients Are Having Their Benefits Cut Back On November 1st

47.6 million Americans are about to have their food stamp benefits cut, and most of them have absolutely no idea that it is about to happen. Needless to say, a lot of them are going to be very angry when they discover that they cannot buy as much food for their families anymore. The reason that this is happening is because a temporary boost to food stamp benefits that was put in during the last recession is expiring. But most of the people that are having their benefits cut will not understand this.
Image: Food stamp user.
Most of them will just be very upset that the government is “taking money away” from them. And considering the “mini-riots” that we witnessed earlier this month when the system that processes food stamp payments went down for a few hours, it is obvious that a lot of food stamp recipients can very easily be pushed over the edge. So what would happen if we have another “debt ceiling crisis” in Washington D.C. early next year and food stamp benefits are temporarily cut off completely?
Wherever “austerity” has been tried in Europe, it has resulted in protests and riots. Could a similar thing happen in this country?
NBC News is reporting that ALL food stamp recipients are going to have their food stamp benefits reduced in November. This is certainly not going to put those living in poverty in a good mood…
Millions of American families could face a sparse holiday table when food stamps benefits get reduced in November, and that could be just the start of deeper cuts to the program to feed poor families.
The modern-day food stamp plan, now called the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, is scheduled to scale back benefits for all recipients on Nov. 1 because a recession-era boost in benefits is expiring.
Sadly, the truth is that food stamp benefits don’t even buy a lot of food right now. According to the USDA, the average monthly food stamp benefit is approximately $272 per household.
And now it will be even lower.
The government says that a family of four will be getting 36 dollars less per month starting on November 1st.
That may not sound like a lot to you, but for those living on the edge of poverty it can make a huge difference.
What are impoverished families supposed to do? Eat a diet that consists entirely of Ramen noodles?
Of course the real solution would be to provide good paying jobs for those families, but unfortunately our leaders continue to pursue policies that are systematically killing American jobs so that is not going to happen.
Meanwhile, those living in poverty continue to become angrier and more frustrated.
We got a glimpse of this earlier this month. The following is a brief excerpt from a recent article posted on offgridsurvival.com
. Local police were called in as the crowd started to turn ugly, and overflowing grocery carts were left abandoned in the aisles.
13 million are on welfare and nearly 47 million on food stamps. That 34 million difference are those that are called the working poor. They have jobs but those jobs do not pay enough to make a living. It's the rich CEOs like the Walton's of WalMart that are the true takers, not the employees.

How about this for an answer.
Because Obama's clown act fucked it up, get rid of that clown act. They are obviously incompetent.
Then, do it all over again. This time, don't do something incredibly stupid like attempting to remove copyright notices from the code and set off all the software bombs.
All that money we gave Obama to write the software he stole (when you violate the copyright agreement, you steal the software) was wasted. To fix it, we have to pay for Obama's fuckup, and then pay to fix it.
Get the code again and start over. That's the only solution.
And, get rid of those pathological liars in the White House. They are the reason the United States has less credibility in the world than Zimbabwe. This is just one more example of why the United States is the laughing stock of the world since Obama took office.
Al bundy would actually make a better president than Obama. He realizes how stupid he is after his plan blows up in his face. Obama doesn't have a clue how stupid he is. Even after this, he still thinks he's smart. You can't get more stupid than that.
If you want to see what the rest of the world is laughing at, look in the mirror. Your phony conspirisies, threats to not pay debts congress approved, your obstruction to Obamacare every step of the way and then whine that it doesn't work, the teabagger clown show of no solution, just chest beating politicians; all this is why you don't matter any more.

You're an idiot DB!
If you bother to actually look into the issue, this is what you'll discover, just like everyone else who actually looked into the issue discovered.
To look into any issue, you have to make a commitment to not be ignorant. Obama may take your Democrat voter registration card away from you if you do this.

Here is the problem with the ObamaKare website:

DataTables is free, open source software that you can download and use for whatever purpose you wish, on any and as many sites you want. It is free for you to use! DataTables is available under two licenses: GPL v2 license or a BSD (3-point) license, with which you must comply (to do this, basically keep the copyright notices in the software).

For some reason, this clown act Obama has decided to eliminate the copyright notices from the software, setting off software bombs.

Every problem with the website was caused by Obama's "programmers" violating the copyright agreement and removing the copyright notices from the code... for some reason.
Now, why would anyone use free software, then change the code to make it appear as if they weren't using that software?

This is just part of being a pathological liar. It was important to them for ignorant people to think they are smart enough to write the code for the ObamaKare website.
The truth is, this is just another case where Al Bundy could be our president. His plan A blows up in his face, and he doesn't have a plan B.

This is not only the most incompetent administration in the history of this country, it is probably the most incompetent administration of any country in the history of civilization.

So, how much more money will it cost us to fix Barack Bundy's stupidity?
And, when will you dupes wake up?

If you want to earn more money, do what makes you worth more.
The reason we have what you call "working poor" (you don't have a clue what poor is, moron) is because that's all they're worth. If they were worth more, they'd be paid more.

What they need is a community organizer that can lead them away from the self-destructive choices they make to making responsible choices that increase their worth to the economy, and allows them to take themselves out of what you ludicrously call "poverty".

Offhand, I can't think of anyone who qualifies.

Well, boy, calling yourself an "African" American when the so-called "African" Americans would have the lowest respect and status in any culture of society in Africa is a racial slur to real Africans who don't create an entire culture of single mothers and irresponsible men who abandon their children as a matter of cultural tradition.
When any so-called "African" American calls themselves African American, it is an insult to real Africans. The so-called "African" Americans have nothing in common with Africans.
If you don't want to be called "boy", grow up and become a responsible person... boy. Become a man.
A man doesn't abandon his children, boy.

... and that explains Obama being a deadbeat draw that put most of the ticket scalpers out of business the last time he went to Germany.

Or, we can talk about Obama skillfully maneuvering the US into a position of having to help assure the stability of the Assad government in order to even participate in the chemical weapons agreement in Syria, while at the same time training Al Qaeda terrorists on a US military base in Jordan.

Yup, the world is sure impressed with that show of brilliance.

Shall we reference another episode of complete stupidity by Obama? There are so many to choose from.

Only difference with the Obama administration is that it started from the bottom up, as all others started from top down. Another red herring is Benghazi, and if you will remember Libya, lack of security issues. Considering it was the Tea Party leading with the Hue and Cry to deny Obama’s request for additional funds to increase security to our embassies’, right after the Libyan War. Now they PROJECT their errors onto the Executive branch. Using this to validate their need to hold Congress and the Nation into another Hostage/Ransom, Our Way or The Highway scenarios.
