Information Technology experts, outside and inside the government, have figured out the reason why the website for Obamakare's federally-sponsored insurance exchange is crashing.

Healthcare.gov forces you to create an account, enter detailed personal information selling yourself out before you can start shopping. This, in turn, creates a massive traffic bottleneck, as the government gathers and verifies your personal information and decides whether or not you're eligible for subsidies.

HHS bureaucrats knew this would make the website run more slowly, and are more afraid letting people see first the underlying cost of Obamakare's insurance plans would scare people away.

If not for obamakare, the Tea Party would not have been a great success..

OK I just have to wonder, why so many people are still posting to this thread since it originated in 2008. Yes, Barack Obama was our next president. He was duly elected as the Commander-in-Chief of the United States of America, was then reelected, and is now nearing the end of his last term. And yet everyone is upset because he's "going to be our next president"? Please. just reelect somebody who you're more in love with next time - if it's possible for you to like any president that is!
He was elected - not just once but twice - because the black out media succeeded in helping him fundamentally transform this country into the Dumb and Dumber United States of America.

Welcome to it. Which one are you?

Is it possible for you to like any president who leads and puts the country first?

United States Becomes World's Number-One Oil Supplier - So why are Our gas prices still so high??

Oct. 17, 2013

In a watershed moment for the United States, it has now surpassed Saudi Arabia as the world’s largest supplier of oil.

According to PIRA, an energy analysis firm, the skyrocketing oil output over the last four years is the most dizzying ascent since Saudi Arabia’s from 1970-1974. Since 2009, U.S. oil output has climbed 3.2 million barrels per day (bpd). The total includes natural gas liquids and biofuels...

Your post is nothing but a distorted opinion. Black kids don't have temper tantrums in stores? Baloney. I've seen it happen. Black kids don't cuss out and "diss" their parent(s) or elder guardians? Baloney, I've seen it happen.
Steady, level-headed approach to parenting? What's the percentage of single parent homes for AA children, 70-75%? How many AA kids have no clue who their dad is? Facts you may not want to hear, but facts regardless.
Parents today, regardless of skin color, don't discipline their children, they try to be their best friends. Maybe one reason is a swat on your child's bottom will land you in jail.
You call it an opinion but, it's in the news frequently. I never said,( if I did, I didn't mean never)that all black kids don't do these things because, I've seen it myself but, I've seen a lot more white kids do it, by far.(AA) lol! That's bullshit! I don't know where you're getting your statistics from but, I live this. I'm in the " AA" community &, black kids not knowing who their fathers are is aww flat out lie! Some of their dads may not be in their lives for to some Fucked up circumstances but, what you stated is a complete lie. I've had far more 1 night stands with white girls than black girls &, 90% of TANF, the most popular welfare program is single white females so, even if it were the truth, at least they're taken care of! I agree on the calling the cops quote but, I explained to my kids the consequences behind that.

It takes a special kind of stupid to not see why the black population is so deep in prisons. But, then again, you for the bill. No need to explain because, if you don't know by now, you're part of the problem, being you're not part of the solution.

Because polling has now become so integrated with marketing and politics, the shysters have entered the field in order to create numbers to their liking. Liberals are famous for this.
Take that infamous lawyer-witness exchange "So, Mr. Smith. Have you stopped beating your wife? Yes or No, please" and apply this same stratagem to polling questions and you have a Liberal gold mine of propaganda.
True.

But it's hard to argue when all polls show the vast majority of us are very unhappy with the direction of this country.

http://realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/dir...

Since the government shutdown Tuesday, Obama’s approval rating has slipped 3 percentage points to 41% while his disapproval went up to 52%, according to Gallup’s daily numbers.

Reuters also polled a 41% approval rating in the same time period.

Considering that as many as 65% to 75% aren't happy with the direction of the country and Obama has been the one leading us, the discrepancy in his approval numbers, even if low, is almost mindboggling.

" The black out media," what the hell are you talking about? Black people couldn't even succeed in getting equal rights but, they can succeed in duping the country into electing the first black president? Too be honest with you, white America got Obama elected or, should I say, rational, thoughtful, white America! You're still stuck on " if it ain't the white way, it's not the right way! Real Americans see past that. We don't look to the past four guidance, we gauge the present to predict the future! The past is good for judging cycles. Well, Obama's election & re-election is proof that this country is still in it's first cycle because, we've never had a black president before!

You keep forgetting that the exchanges have special provisions for the poor.
Those who earn less than 250% of the poverty level, or about $29,000 a year,($58,875 for a family of four in 2013)can receive federal "cost-sharing subsidies" toward payment of deductibles, co-payments and co-insurance costs. This is in addition to the premium credit.
A silver plan will generally pay 70 percent of covered medical expenses, leaving the consumer responsible for 30 percent.
"The federal cost-sharing subsidies essentially increase the insurance company's share of covered benefits, resulting in reduced out-of-pocket spending for lower-income consumers. A family of four whose income is between 100 and 150 percent of the federal poverty level ($23,550 to $35,325) will be responsible for paying 6 percent of covered expenses out-of-pocket compared with the 30 percent that a family not getting subsidized coverage would owe in a silver plan."
"In addition, people who earn 250 percent of the federal poverty level or less will have their maximum out-of-pocket spending capped at lower levels than will be the case for others who buy plans on the exchange. In 2015, the out-of-pocket limits for most plans will be $6,350 for an individual and $12,700 for a family. But people who qualify for cost-sharing subsidies will see their maximum out-of-pocket spending capped at $2,250 or $4,500 for single or family coverage, respectively."
"In California, a standard silver plan will have a $2,000 deductible, a $6,400 maximum out-of-pocket limit and a $45 copayment for a primary care office visit. Someone whose income is between 150 and 200 of the poverty level, on the other hand, will have a silver plan with a $500 deductible, a $2,250 maximum out-of-pocket limit and $15 copays for primary care doctor visits."
