First person I've ever seen post who knew the GM bailout was actually for GMAC... a mortgage company.
Close but no cigar. There were two separate bailouts...one for GM and another for GMAC.

Amazing what one can find using Google...

Dept of Homeland Security where are you?

"The Secure Fence Act of 2006 was enacted October 26, 2006 and is a part of President George W. Bush’s effort on immigration reform which was intended to allow the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to gain operational control over the entire United States-Mexico border and maritime border."

Now we know why ACA website stinks...
This is from memory...
maybe not an exact quote...
"The reason for the website failure was because Sibelius asked for additional monies, and the republicans refused to approve more funding for the project"
Juan Williams...
Seems the Republicans have a lot more power than we thought after this last fiasco when it comes to Democrats needing a scapegoat.

FACT: "Fewer than one in four Americans have enough money in their savings account to cover at least six months of expenses, enough to help cushion the blow of a job loss, medical emergency or some other unexpected event, according to the survey of 1,000 adults. Meanwhile, 50% of those surveyed have less than a three-month cushion and 27% had no savings at all."
So, using your "logic" Republicans are just as likely to be "non functioning members of society" as Democrats. In fact, I would say more likely since they just love to buy things they can't afford.

People have less money now because of Obama's new taxes.

Obamacare is not going to lessen the burden for health insurance for many working class people.

There was a much more practical and common sense approach.

I'd waited for decades for health care reform. This isn't what I waited for.

LOL. Congress failed to fund the project sufficiently in order to finish building the fence.

On obamacare...
This is from the WaPo...

"I think it is a mixed bag. If you are old, sick, or poor you will probably pay less. If you are young and healthy, you will likely pay more. It is designed to be that way.

I checked some pricing, and for my wife and I to buy coverage with a $1500 deductible in 2013, the rate would be just under $600 a month. In 2014, a similar policy would be just over $1000. We don't qualify for subsidies, so we would be a loser.

On the other hand, my mom and her husband are in their early 60's and don't qualify for Medicare yet. Their insurance will go down a bit"

Why would someone be so cavalier about their insurance going up so much?

$4000 Dollar increase...that's a new car payment...

Very telling...

Especially liked "the Mother Ship hiding behind the Moon" part. No lie is too big for the liberal media when it comes to protecting this president. They would spin that so fast liberals would be looking up at the sky in awe every night.
I no longer take Liberal Media roundtable discussions seriously as I once naively did many, many moons ago. Today, I sit and watch smarmy propagandists pontificating and condescending toward the unwashed masses of uneducated Americans who couldn't find their way home each night if not for the NY Times and Mizz Madcow.

They ooze with "You are stupid and so you need us".

you try mastering 18 tracks into 2 while presenting facts to baggers, and try to Skype the artist, who's in London(not the one in KY) btw, all at the same time and see if your semi-coherent attempts at deflecting every fact that comes your way gets any easier.
and your poor attempts at fact deflecting tells me you're a FOXbag.

Did GW shut down the government because Congress failed to fund HIS project just like the Magic Negro did?
