maybe you should have read what George H.W. Bush and Brent Scowcroft had said about taking out Saddam, before you made such an asinine remark.

Basically we'd be in another Vietnam with a country divided amongst itself. Only this time there would be 3 factions Sunni, Shia and Kurd. That no matter how long we stayed, once we left a brutal religious civil war would break out.

It doesn't matter who was POTUS when we pulled out, the outcome was sealed the day we took Saddam out. Ask any Middle East expert, and no anyone associated with PNAC is automatically disqualified as a Middle East expert, especially considering they didn't even know there are different sects of Islam.

There are only two ways to prevent a civil war between the Sunnis, Shias and Kurds is to have over 1/2 million troops maintain the peace or install another Saddam like dictator.

Geesh, just how ignorant can you get.

Seems like ever time you think these crazies have maxed out they somehow find a way to get deeper into looney land. It's obvious since their latest beat down they are like a swarm of crazed bees darting in and out crasping gropping and buzzing incoherently..Totally amusing but kinda scary that fellow Americans can act so Al Qaeda like, and pass themselves off as patriots. Sad but true.

You mean what Richard Millhouse Nixon tried to do back in the 70's?

Man you people are absolutely friggin perplexing. In the 90's when Clinton championed single-payer universal health care coverage, you said no. The GOP plan was to make health insurance mandatory, thus spreading out the cost amongst all Americans.

Now that we have a President who actually championed that idea, you and your GOP nutcases are against it.

Talk about a flip flop.

for universal health care coverage until Democratic President Clinton proposes it.
for mandatory health care insurance until Democratic President Obama proposes it.

No wonder you guys can't compromise, you are automatically against anything Democrats propose, even if the idea was originally a Republican idea.

In the news today, President Obama said the sunrises in the East....Teabaggers immediately denounced that statement as a liberal communist socialist conspiracy. Ted Cruz stated emphatically the sun rises in the South and he will bring down the gov't until we recognize that fact. The Sun rising in the East is a train wreck.

So you DON'T know the only two requests made by Republicans to avoid the shutdown?

Here they are:
1. Congress abide by the same law as everyone else.
2. Individuals be treated the same as corporations.

You DID know this, right?

And that Democrats refused to talk about these two requests which led them to shutdown the government before doing so?
