Bush did that by hiring Blackwater private military and paid them more than our own soldiers.
That's what the Republicans are all about; the zest and quest for funneling government funds into their pockets.
That's what Jeb Bush is all about; he is dying for public education funds to line his pockets, all the while turning our children into a bunch of zombies staring at a computer screen all day with his bogus online school. They're all a bunch of thieves and Lois is a moron.

Ask Sean Penn and Susan Sarandon and all the other Hollywood tinsel-eyed actors who demeaned this country at every given opportunity when a Republican was in office.
And why are they dead silent when this president is the most anti-capitalistic president in our history? Don't they depend on capitalism for their lavish lifestyles?
Ask Ed Asner what he meant when he said Hollywood doesn't criticize this president for fear of being anti-black.
Deep thinkers, these people.
You're totally clueless. Do you really believe that success and wealth means you should be a hateful greedy shrew? They didn't demean this country; they spoke out against the illegal war. I suppose that you are opposed to freedom of speech? Protesting against wars? It's got nothing to do with capitalism. President Obama is not anti capitalist; you're nuts.
It is the republicans and the teaparty who demean this country.

How about the Navy? And the Air Force? And by golly, it should be opened up for international competition in order to make it truly capitalistic.
But I do agree the cons are in it for the money. For some reason tho, they can't show where it's clearly stated in the US Constitution!
The Blackwater soldiers were being paid over $100,000 a year for their mercenary services. How much is a soldier paid?
Bush et al kept the war off the books; hired private contractors!
What a travesty; the biggest heist being those pallets of cash delivered to the "viceroy"!! Viceroy? Who uses that term? Where's the money?

John McCain Threatens Revenge on Democrats if They Humiliate Republicans on Govt Shutdown

As he made a discombobulated, shaky case for why Democrats were somehow responsible for Republicans’ failure of leadership, and fretted about Al-Qaeda coming after us while we were shutdown, Senator John McCain (R-AZ) huffed on CBS’ Face the Nation that Democrats better stop humiliating Republicans. He tried to sound scary from beneath the pin of GOP defeat,“Democrats better understand something, what goes around comes around!” So there. NEENER NEENER.

“Al-Qaeda is not in shutdown!” Senator McCain, King of Fear-Mongering, intoned on Face the Nation. You’d almost think he was working for Democrats; however, he tried to lay our vulnerability and inability to defend ourselves at Democrats’ feet for being unwilling to let Republicans abuse the country. Mean old Dems.

John McCain has a warning for you!

“Democrats better understand something, what goes around comes around! And if they try to humiliate Republicans, things change in American politics, and I know what it’s like to be in the majority and the minority and it won’t be forgotten. Now is the time to be magnanimous!”

So there you have the best spin Republicans can put on their twin manufactured crises of shutdown and default. Democrats had better cave or else Republicans won’t be nice when they are in power.

Oh. So scary.

To clarify, are Republicans being “magnanimous” now? Because it’s been five years of Republicans calling Obama a terrorist, asking for his birth certificate, and shouting about impeaching him because of his skin color. They’ve crapped all over his nominations and stalled his entire agenda. In McCain’s chamber, Republicans as the minority have set records for filibustering. In the House, they have set the record for pretend votes to repeal ObamaCare. So, this is “magnanimous”, eh?

Scott's likeability had been improving some along with the FL economy but the guy keeps fkn up__he's once again on the drug testing state workers kick apparently not understanding that the lions share of those folks voted for him.

Rand Paul Makes A Fool Of Himself Trying to Blame Obama For the Government Shutdown

There is a very simple reason why Republicans have not been successfully able to blame President Obama for the government shutdown. Unlike Rand Paul and his fellow Republicans in the House and Senate, President Obama never had a vote on whether or not the government stayed open. In contrast, Rand Paul has voted against a clean CR everytime that it has come to the floor.

The polls show that the American people aren’t stupid. They know who is keeping the government closed. Rand Paul thinks we’re all dumb. Sen. Paul is still trying to undo the damage he caused by being recorded discussing with Mitch McConnell how Republicans were going to “win” the government shutdown. That video is the reason why Paul keeps pushing the lies that Democrats are playing games and having fun with the government shutdown. By refusing to change his talking points, even after being caught on tape, Sen. Paul is embarrassing himself everytime he speaks.

Paul’s complaint that Democrats are getting greedy was an admission of defeat. The Republicans are angry because they think Democrats are “running up the score” by asking for things like an end to sequester funding.

The American people are never going to blame the president to the same degree that they blame Congress for this dual act of economic sabotage. Rand Paul and the Senate Republicans could have sent a unified message that they wouldn’t tolerate a government shutdown by voting with Democrats on a clean CR. Instead, Paul and others chose to follow the lead of Ted Cruz by playing games with the CR. Now, they are paying the price for their miscalculation.

Actually both Fiskar & Solyndra started the loan programs under GW Bush's green energy program.

As noted by Politifact in 2012, Fisker also applied for the loan guarantee under George W. Bush, who had signed the program into law after it received broad bipartisan support:

Fisker received a loan guarantee from] the Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing program through the Energy Department. And it's not funded by Obama's stimulus bill -- otherwise known as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. It is, in fact, a program signed into existence by President George W. Bush in 2007 and first funded by legislation Bush signed in 2008. The program was designed to support development of advanced technology vehicles. The Bush administration was in charge when the automaker filed its application. The Obama administration was in charge when the company's loan was approved."

Both the Bush program and the one under the stimulus program recognize they were investing in risky ventures. That was the purpose of these programs.

Both programs set aside money to cover the losses as they knew some investments would fail.

Both have money left in the loss funds.

So these are NOT a failure in policy at all.

Ray, as usual, you are uniformed & dumber than sh*t.
